OPI Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Mini Pack

Few days ago I got a cute package from a Slovenian online store. They surprised me with a mini pack of OPI Mariah Carey's liquid sand collection. I'm seeing this trend everywhere at the moment and I couldn't wait to test them out. Since I got a mini pack and didn't want to just swatch them, I decided to go with skittles. :P I added 2 coats of each and I was surprised with a gritty effect but I just love it! :L It truly looks like a sand on your nails, perfect! Which one is your fave?

V kolekciji Mariah Carey so štirje taki odtenki. Ker nimam 10 rok, kjer bi lahko preizkusila vse lake naenkrat, sem se odločila za skittlse in tako ubila 4 muhe na en mah. :P

Stay the Night - The impossible - Can't let go - Get your number

Thanks for reading!

Xoxo,
Ivana :k

Inspired by: Norman Ambrose Spring/Summer 2012 Nails

Lately I'm so lazy with my nails so I wear same manicure for a week or before it's totally unwearable. :P

I had this picture saved on my laptop and when I got some things from Born Pretty Store for review I knew I'll have to try it out. Here's a picture.... :i

http://nailshowto.com
CND Colour in Flashpoint iced with 24K Gold Leaf as a french tip made by nail artist Candice Manacchio for CND.
My nails for sure aren't oval as these so I made a regular french tips with a gold foil because I obviously don't own real gold leaf. :P Here's what I came up with.. :i

Not really super close because my nails are squared but I like it! First I didn't want to use a coral red because I don't like corals and I thought I don't have corals in my stash but then I remembered I got one from Nina months ago so I decided to get close as I can. :)

I got a set of gold and silver gold nail art foil. You get 6 retainers of gold and 6 of silver foil. Foil is really thin so you have to be careful if you want to apply it in one piece but I needed smaller pieces so I took my tweezers to tear it apart without getting it on my fingers.

First I applied two coats of Perfect nail polish in #233, which is a coral creme. When the second layer was still tacky I placed pieces of foil on my tips with tweezers. When I was done, I sealed the foil with topcoat.

I love how sparkly it looks on sun like I dipped my nails in a gold.

So what do you think? Yay or nay? :) I definitely need to try this with pink! If you don't like foil, you can always try french tip with a gold glitter.

I saw top coats with gold pieces inside, I'm quite sure you can mix this foil with a clear top coat and made your own golden top coat. Or you just randomly place pieces of foil.  .i Has anyone tried this yet?

Don't forget to use code J10X31 to get 10% off on your order if you're planning to order on Born Pretty Store . ;)

An extra photo I just published on Instagram, trying to pose like the models did. :P

Essence - Wild Thing + BM

I have short nails! nangih I filed them down while I was watching Survivor Srbija and I didn't pay attention how much I already filed them down. Crazy me! adus

I'll remove it immediately, because I really don't like this combination but I tried to capture this 2 pictures with flash to show you something.

I picked Essence - Wild Thing, I think Essence doesn't sell it anymore. It's a coral red creme nail polish. I really like how it looks in the bottle, but I don't like how corals look on me, they don't match to my skintone. senyum

For stamping I used BM20 and Essence Stamp me White nail polish. Here is base color too orange.

Pictures are bad because everyday I wake up so late and it's already a night outside so I can't took any pictures on daylight. I hope I'll wake up earlier tommorow and I'll show you my new mani.

Happy weekend!

Orly - Pixy Stix

Another Orly nail polish from Sweet collection, Pixy Stix. I would describe it as creme coral pink. I really like it, because it's really a special color (Ohhh, I always say that, I guess every color is a special color for me gatai).

Application was great, I add 2 coats and 1 coat Seche Vite. Today was sunny day, I love it when sun came out, I miss summer!

Do you like it? Which one is your favorite from Sweet collection? I really can't decide, but I love this one and Lollipop so much! I still hope I'll get my hands on Cotton Candy and I'll have all I wanted from this beautiful spring collection!

Have a nice weekend!

Catrice - Meet me at Coral Island

As I already said, I was on vacation last week - I went with my momther and aunt to Zagreb with train and then with bus to aunt's place. Here are some pictures from Zagreb when we were walking to bus station.

When we were walking home, I saw a Kozmo store - and Kozmo sells Catrice. I was so happy, because I was able to buy myself some new polishes I had on my WL. So I bought 4 Catrice polishes. I was picking last coins for them.

Meet me at Coral Island

First polish I tried was Meet Me atcoral Island - a creme coral polish. I add 2 coats for perfect opacity.

All compliments to this polish. Brush is perfect!!! Application is great, it dries so quick, I was finished in less than 15 minutes. No bubbles and high shining without top coat, amazing!

Do you own any Catrice polishes? I'm sure you do, but if you don't - you have to have them!!! I'm so happy that Catrice is now sold also in Slovenia.

Love,
Ivana
