Finnabair Weekend - Class Project Part 4

Hi! It's the very first day of December and it's only 24 days until Christmas! How crazy is that. This year just flew past me.. So back today with my last share of my weekend with Finnabair - Anna Dabrowska at Bikuben the 11-13th of November making "The Book of Rust". I was really excited about this class and I was not disapointed.

I had so much fun making this. It has tons of layering and loads of gorgeous product from Prima and the Finnabair collection. I've used rust paste, micro beads and art stones. This is what I made out of that class.

I used a big old book to make this. It's about 20cm x 15cm I think and I played alot with the rust paste and the metallique paints from Prima and the texture is awesome. So much to learn from Anna and her products!

There's so much microbeads, mica flakes and textures on this. It's so fabolous. I really liked  this project. If you are wondering who this lady is. It's in lady (I think a grand aunt) of Andrzej - Finnabair's husband. I really liked her face on this even though it's not her whole face.

This was the last project I did with Finnabair that weekend. And it was also the last class of the weekend. I did 4 out of 5 classes witch isn't to shabby I think.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my Finnabair projects! :) Anna will be back at Bikuben next November 24-26th. I hope I get to play again! :D

Adventure Awaits - Layout - DT Flying Unicorn

Hello everyone, back today to share one of my projects for Flying Unicorn using the July Kit of the Month. It was filled to the brim with the new papers from the newest company "49 and Market" and I got to play with them!

The papers are really good quality, thick and easy to use with media. Allthough I didn't use loads of media on this, but a little misting and splashing. Can not make a layout without! :)

I used a large stencil and the Tea Stain Color Bloom that came in the kit. I also splashed with Boysenberry Color Bloom and of course White Linen Dylusions. I added some stamping and string. I die-cuted the frame from a Tim Holtz Sizzix dies. The Chipboard came in the kit.

I used the flowers that came in the kit and added some from my own stash. I dry brushed them with some gesso and added beads and mica flakes as finishing touches.

I fuzzy cut the butterfly from some of the papers from "49 and Market", the title is from 7dots Studio. The buttons came in the kit to.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.

Mixed Media Birdhouse - DT Flying Unicorn

Hello lovelies! Yesterday I was up on the Flying Unicorn with my today's post and I have a Mixed Media birdhouse with a video tutorial to share. This birdhouse was the off the page project in the June kit. A new kit is just around the corner and it's fantastic! It's filled to the brim with the awesome new papers from 49th and Market. Ok, but first the birdhouse.

I have to say that this is the OTP project I had the most fun with (OTP stands for "Off the Page") I've played with so many mediums on this like gesso, crackle paint, Lindy's Stamp Gang mists, modeling paste and metallique paints.

Used a ton of embellishements on this, loads of Prima flowers, embellishements, micro beads and mica flakes. If you would like to see the creative process on how to make this project, here is a video tutorial.

The video is a bit longer than I usually make, but I hope you'll watch it anyways. :)

The lovely flower are from Prima and I've added som string and an old curtain for more texture. White brushed the flowers with white gesso and added som micro beads and mica flakes as finishing toutches.
The bird actually is from Prima as is the key aswell. The little bird came with the new birdcage Prima came out with CHA 2016. I thought the bird was perfect for this project.

I'm joining in these challenges with my birdhouse:

I've used these products on my birdhouse:

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Would love to hear what you think. :)

More Christmas Cards :)

Today I would like to share another Christmas card. As I was saying in my last post I did teach loads of christmas card classes in October trough out December, so this card was one of those cards I taught :)

I've used loads of Papirdesign goodies on my card along with some Tim Holtz dies. All papers, flowers and the "Julehilsen" is from Papirdesign.

I love to fold my cards this way.. It makes a fantastic card and you can use a whole sheet of paper to fold it or you can just use the size you have. It just needs to be square. :) I've used a Tim Holtz die to die cut the skates and the holly leaves. Decorated with flowers from Papirdesign and added loads of microbeads and mica flakes to create a snow effect.

I'm joing in these challenges with my Christmas Card:
