Finnabair Weekend - Class Project Part 4

Hi! It's the very first day of December and it's only 24 days until Christmas! How crazy is that. This year just flew past me.. So back today with my last share of my weekend with Finnabair - Anna Dabrowska at Bikuben the 11-13th of November making "The Book of Rust". I was really excited about this class and I was not disapointed.

I had so much fun making this. It has tons of layering and loads of gorgeous product from Prima and the Finnabair collection. I've used rust paste, micro beads and art stones. This is what I made out of that class.

I used a big old book to make this. It's about 20cm x 15cm I think and I played alot with the rust paste and the metallique paints from Prima and the texture is awesome. So much to learn from Anna and her products!

There's so much microbeads, mica flakes and textures on this. It's so fabolous. I really liked  this project. If you are wondering who this lady is. It's in lady (I think a grand aunt) of Andrzej - Finnabair's husband. I really liked her face on this even though it's not her whole face.

This was the last project I did with Finnabair that weekend. And it was also the last class of the weekend. I did 4 out of 5 classes witch isn't to shabby I think.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my Finnabair projects! :) Anna will be back at Bikuben next November 24-26th. I hope I get to play again! :D

Finnabair Weekend - Class Project Part 3

Hello lovelies! It's time to share my third project for the Finnabair weekend at Bikuben the 11-13th of November. This class project was the first I made and we learned all about the use of sculpture medium in the "Verdigris" class.

For this class we made a shadowbox canvas.. I have to say that I wasn't really happy with the way mine turned out.. and I wasn't able to "fix" it in a way I would like it.. but I'm going to share it anyways. :)

So the kit was so filled to the brim with loads of lovelyness. All kinds of metals, fabric, lace and flowers. I added them to my frame and this is what I came up with.
I don't know why I do not like it that much but I do think it's because of the face. I didn't get it right I think. I like all my layers and the textures, and it was a fun project to make and of course you learn so much. You really can't see that spoon that we where suppose to use as a focal point. This piece is sprayed with Primary Elements and painted with gesso and metallique paints.

I love the Finnabair Mechanicals. They are so easy alterable and they looked so good on this project.

You can see part of the spoon I used on my canvas. I have to say it was a fun class and I liked the project, I'm just not happy with my project.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today :)

Finnabair Weekend - Class Project Part 2

Back again today with another share from my classes with Finnabair - Anna Dabrowska at Bikuben the 11-13 of November. This class is actually the 3rd I took this weekend.. and this one was the one I wanted to go to the most and that was the "Heart of the Clock".. And I LOVED it.
The details on my clock is alot. Anna told me not to put so much flowers on it, because it would be a pain to paint later and that I would regret it.. but I don't. I even added extras.. The clock looks AMAZING. Oh yes, I'm quite happy with the way it looks.

Anna taught us fantastic techniques. We got to play with the gesso's, pastes and the acrylic paints and the opal magics. She teaches you step by step and everyone will get the project done. So over to my clock.. This is my class project from the "Heart of the Clock" class.

It took us quite along time to make this clock. The details are amazing on it and we used so much prima product and we got to play with the relics aswell.. I do adore the face in the flower cluster and the hand holding a rose is awesome aswell.

Isn't that an awesome detail with the Relics and Artifacts hand? I love that.. Didn't think I would.. but I do.. The Art Pebbels are so fun to work with aswell.

The paint on the clock changes with the light but I painted with purples and golds. (Don't remember the colors.)

Thank you soo much for joining me today and I'd love to hear what you think of my clock!
I would like to stress out that this is Finnabair's designs and products and I learned so much! :)

Finnabair weekend - Class project part 1

So the weekend of 11-13th of November I took a bunch of Finnabair classes and I enjoyed them so muuuch! I will share so photos from our classes and the project I made. I would like to stress out this is Finnabair's style and the classes are ABSOLUTLY amazing to take part in and you learn soo much. I will split my weekend into 4 seperate post so there will be 3 more like this.

I will start with the class that actually was my second class.. I joined the layers of dreams on Saturday morning. I love making layouts and I was really happy with my result. Usually I am a bit shy and scared to mess things up, but this time I just went with the flow. :)

This is what I made of the class. I added a black frame to my project and it looks amazing and I can hang it on my wall now. :)

The frame of course Prima and all the embellishments are also Prima. The photo I used I've used before on a layout, but I think it's just such a fun photo so I just had to use it.

This rusted elements are sooo cool, I really like the look on them. We just a lot of the art stones as well and splatted with gesso and Colorarte Primary elements.

Look at all my layers.. It's no way to put this in an album. We used loads of lace, papers and metal embellishment. We painted everything with gesso and misted primary elements on top. Then we added those rusted elements.

The texture is amazing! We added art stones in both sizes and painted them into our project. I love the color palette with the purples and teals.

I see that the photo I used comes out really blury in this photo. But it's really not. But you get to see the layers and all the details in the layout and of course all the splatteres we did. It was such a fun class to attend. If you have the chance to go and learn to use Finnabair projects I would highly recommend you doing so! :)

Thank you so much for your visit today! :)

Be inspired Layout - GDT 7 Dots Studio

So it's been fun to guest DT 7dots Studio this month and today I'm sharing my last post with a video tutorial. I made a layout this time as well playing with the "Lost and Found" collection witch is my favorite!
As you all know I love fuzzy cutting, so I fuzzy cut some images out from the Domestic Godess Collection and the Homegrown collection as well. The gorgeous rusty metal pieces are Finnabiar embellishments.

I've used some modeling paste, stenciling, watercolor confections and stamping to create my background. Would you like to see my creative prosess on this layout please check out the video below.

T
I have to admit that the title stickers are perfect for any layout, card or project. I cherish all my title stickers. These are from the "Nature Walk" collection. The poppies are adorable. The stars are Finnabiar embellishements.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Would love to hear what you think :)

Capricorn - Layout DT Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo

It's 8 days left of the june challenge over at the Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo blog. This month is all about Horoscope witch I must admit was a pretty difficult challenge. But a challenge should be a challenge. This time I made a layout.

I've played with loads of medium and the newest 7dots Studio collection "Fortune Teller". I must say that Fortune teller is my favorite of the new collections.

Like I said the challenge is about "Horoscope". You can make whatever you like and you can use the theme in the way you like aswell. This is what I came up with:

My star sign is Capricorn so I decided to make a layout about it. I misted with Color Bloom "Antique Gold" over a stencil, then used more stencil work with Viva Decor Gold paste. I did a lot of splashing with more colors like Color Bloom "Deep Teal" and Glimmer Glam "Stiletto" from Tattered Angels.

I've used metall embellishements from Finnabair and Prima. Including metal buttons from My Minds Eye.
