Crescent Moon Dreamcatcher - Artists Live Ustream Show

Every month I'm up on the Artists Live Ustream Channel and I re-create a project in a Live free class. The show airs every monday at 20.00 CET. This time, I made a Crescent Moon Dreamcatcher using a whole range of Finnabair's mixed media projects.

Using an embroidery hop for my dreamcatcher circle and loads of ribbons, Sandra Evertson Relics to put together this 6" Dreamcatcher.

I used Finnabair's black gesso, white gesso, Soft matte gel, Art Stones and Mini Art Stones to make the insides of the dreamcatcher. Everything is colored with the Oil Pastels from Prima. Would you like to see who I made this, you can watch the recording of the show.

Remember this is just a recording of the show so there will be some interaction with the audience watching on the day it's recorded.

I just love the Sandra Evertson Relics and Artifacts and have worked a bit with them these past months. I painted these with black gesso and added oil pastels to color and finished off with Viva Decor - Inka Gold - Old Silver. The ribbon is colored with Color Bloom - Deep Teal, Tea Stain and White Frost.

The moon is die-cutted out of the crescent moon and stars dies from Tim Holtz. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.. would love to hear what you think about my dreamcatcher. Have a great Valentine's Day! - Yasmin

Mixed Media Ampersand - Artists Live Show

Hello Hello Everyone!  Today I was up at Artists Live Ustream Show teaching how to recreate this little Ampersand using loads of Prima Products and my new favorite - the Izinks!

I've used a MDF figure and I added loads of fun mixed media techniques using stencils, modeling paste, texture paste and gesso. I also added some Viva decor - Inka Gold on the top of everything.

I added a couple of metal items like the barn stars from Finnabair's collection, rustic gears and a resin frame and of course loads of lovely flowers. If you would like to see how the project was made please check out the recording below.

I really liked making this project.. It's a fantastic gift for a wedding, for a couple of friends.

The wings on my project are from Tim Holtz with Prima Marketing Barn Stars and Nobs. Isn't the texture amazing?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Would love to hear what you think about my project. Hugs!

Mixed Media Notebook - Live Ustream Show - DT Scrapberry's

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you my little notebook I made with loads of Scrapberry's supplies and mixed media products Live on the Artists Live Ustream Channel. It's a christmassy project and it can be used for anything.

I made my book with Scrapberry's Christmas paper from last years line. These papers are called: "That Special time of the Year" line.

I also made a shakerbox in the top right corner and added loads of detail. If you would like to see the process of making this, please take a look at the video below.

I used a whole list of Scrapberry's products. If you would like to see the products used please go to my post on the Scrapberry's blog.

A little closeup of the shaker box on the book that I've cut out from one of the diecuts in the diecut sheet found in the collection. All of the embellishements are also from Scrapberry's.

Thank you so much for stopping by me today and make sure to visit the Scrapberry's blog for more projects and fabolous inspiration.

Wood Plaque - Artists Live

Today I wanted to share my wood plaque I taught with Artists Live the 30th of May 2016. I was so happy to be asked to help out at Artists Live and do a live ustream show. I decided to make a wood plaque out of drift wood.

I used the 7dots Studio "Lost & Found" papers and added loads of prima embellishments like Mechanicals and flowers.

The piece is made from driftwood that I found by the seashore just a couple of minutes from where I live. I used a stencil and crackle paste to make a intresting background on the piece. I added loads of embellishments and an old table cloth to add texture. If you'd like to see the show you can watch the recording underneath.

I love the texture that the crackle paste gave to my project.

The key is great and is a piece from korthobby.no. The same with the metal embellishment under the key. I also added loads of tulle to get more texture underneath the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I would love to hear what you think :)
