迷你杏鲍菇

说了厨房要收工了
上个周末家婆又搬了很多材料来
三大包鲜菇~ 一棵大白菜~
逼得俺又得开炉
…………
.
其中有一包迷你杏鲍菇


好可爱哦……

 两菜一汤~ 免谈~
把它们通通煮在一起
多汁的面条 在这冷冷的雨天 爽啊!
昨晚在绿茶的厨房瞄到到她买了cintan板面
我今天也到超市去溜了一包回来^^

厨房收工宴

 这是我们家厨房的收工宴
因为明天、后天、大后天、周末、下个礼拜都不做正餐了
等除夕夜再为爸妈开炉
.
这条鱼很不凡
它长大概一把长尺那么长
它用它的新鲜度和价钱俘拐了我的心
迷迷糊糊把它给带回家
回到家才贸然惊醒那是一条很完整的鱼
我说过我再也不会买没有经过清理的鱼
我的天啊……
看着那闪亮亮的鱼鳞
想像剥开肚皮清理内脏血淋淋的画面
还有那扑鼻的腥味
我完蛋了我!

向老爸SOS
他竟然问我有没有铁钉
还没等他问完
我的脑海里已经浮现他要我做的下一步了
-找一根木材
-用铁锤把铁钉一根根钉在材上
-然后象鱼贩搬潇洒地刮鱼鳞
这种事情不可能发生咯!!!
老妈更可爱~
她说 worst case 把鱼弄熟再把皮剥掉吃
.
最后我问可不可以用刀来刮?
他们竟然泼我冷水
说以我的‘功力’用刀行不通
T_T
真是糟透了~我!
.
最后的最后
我们的解决方法就是用 ♪♫♪♫
长那么大(老)还是第一次刮鱼鳞
没有想像中困难
但是鱼鳞却像飘雪般喷得到处都是
包括我的脸~满身~满手臂~
然后我才领悟到……
这个步骤应该在一个大袋子里进行
就可以省掉我很多事后的清理工作!

那鱼背上的翅~
硬到差点把厨房的剪刀弄损
接下来的血腥场面就不用再形容了……
.
我用[姜蓉蒸]
在外面餐馆吃过那么多次
agak-agak试一下
(原来要用那么多老姜和大蒜的喔)
*把一碗老姜和大蒜加点水用搅拌器打成泥拌点盐巴进去
*鱼身搽点盐十分钟然后洗掉抹干放在深盘内
*倒上姜(蒜)蓉
*中火蒸10分钟 熄火焖10分钟
*淋点香油 撒上葱花 (optional)
味道似摸似样哦!
.
老公吃的时候一直一直追问为什么放一根汤匙在下面
=="
懒得跟他解释 就说我想放就放咯
因为他的逻辑和我的理由每次都很相克!
以前妈妈有教说放一根汤匙在底下和肚子里
受热会比较均匀……
.
用锡箔纸把盘子包着
因为三年前把这盘子的双胞胎给蒸裂作一半
这样比较安全…… 至少破了比较容易收拾
实在有够阿Q的我~ 哎!
.
还有一道奶油培根芥兰花 (自己掰的)
*锅里不放油 把培根煎香(这时候很多油会自己出来的啦)
*加入蒜茸炒香
*加一小匙的奶油溶化
*倒入烫熟的芥兰花
*盐巴调味

这虎年对我和家人来说
是充满感恩的一年♥
是被眷顾的一年♥

Thousand Layers Tofu With Miso Sauce

after seeing wendy's post of the same title
i can't wait to make this dish on my own too~

no doubt it's quite a challenging dish
especially the patience to fully freeze n defrost it

这道千层豆腐我用了板豆腐
放进冷冻格最少一个晚上
(因为心急,几个小时后拿来切
结果中间的部份没有冷冻到
还滑滑的)
然后又得花上差不多一天的时间来解冻
把水份稍为用手掌压出来
切片后再次用手掌把水份压出来
越多越好

n i played ^^

they were stiff when they first got into the pot

after a while... all these alien bugs appeared

great idea for Halloween huh =P

a not-so-boring-way to enjoy your pasta =)
doing silly thing like this once in a while is fun!

de Shrooming Pasta

snakie's mama got his son a lot a lot of mushrooms
all kind of fresh mushrooms

therefore~
tonite we had the Shrooming Pasta meal

i made it fushion by using mince pork instead of beef =P
garnished with some very fresh raw watercress
yummy!

Nestum Healthy Cake

this cake was abstracted from
<孟老师100道小蛋糕 - 燕麦早餐马芬>
but i did it the eco-friendly way
to put it in a baking tin instead of muffin cups

ingredients:
2 eggs, 50g fine brown sugar, 120g cooking oil,
100g milk, 1t vanilla essence, 120g fine flour,
1t baking powder, 100g nestum
.
* beat eggs n sugar until sugar dissolved
* add in cooking oil n continue beating
* pour in milk follow by vanilla essence
* sift in flour + baking powder n mix well with a spatula
* mix in nestum n stir until well combined
* pour into baking tin/ muffin cups bake 160'c 30 min
it's a good way to use up the bit of nestum in the tin
tat seems never gonna finish forever ^^
snakie says it nice too~♥
best eaten warm with some butter to go with...

Comfy Lunch Platter

been making a lot of mix-vegie dish these few weeks
because our moms kept sponsoring a lot of vegie to our fridge
the ingredients were like never ending
bored with the repeating stir-fried style
so i experimented with this kung-po style
by adding some dried chili in~
the result was superbly full of uumph!

it's Dinner time

this is not the first meal i cooked this year
but the first meal i blog about...
been very detach with the technology nowdays
no longer like to stick with the phone, camera nor computer
i find them ...burdens
sign of getting old liao

i hav a lot of  lotus root at home this week
(total 5 portions)
contributed by Snakie's mom last weekend
other than making soups
i stir-fried one of them with:
carrot, sweet pea n cashew nut
snakie loves it *yay*

other than lotus root
i hav a lot of limau kasturi n lemon too
how to use them ah?
i really dun like sour thing leh...

manage to use ONE lime on this fried fish slices
i've got super lousy fish slice from Jusco today
it smells like salted fish
