Earl Grey Cuppies once again

after 1year 3months n 11days
of my last experience on this Earl Grey Cupcake
i finally challenge it again
this time finally a success!!! *phew*

by using the same recipe book
throw away the cheat-method on the book
plus my 1year 3months n 11days of experience
i've made these most-self-satisfied cupcakes of the year

ah yan sendiri add-minus-plus punya ingredients:
100g butter
80g sugar
2 eggs
120g fine flour
1 pinch each of baking powder & baking soda
2 Earl Grey tea bags (i used Mark & Spencer's)
80cc of hot water (add a bit more to make sure u hav 80cc of tea later)

* whisk butter & sugar until they turn white n fluffy (medium speed 15 mins)
*soak 1 tea bag into hot water to make 80cc of Earl Grey tea
*add in egg 1 by 1 n continue to whisk
*pour in tea n n continue to whisk until all mixed well
*sift flour + baking powder + soda + 1 packet of tea leaves
(cut open)

in few batches n slowly stir (not whisk) until no lump
*pour into any desired mould n bake

(i used 160'c - 30 min - made 10 cupcakes)

Chicken Curry Rice Platter

it rain a lot lately
triggered my gloominess timm...
.
let's play with spices
since there's a packet of Maggi 'Kari Ayam' paste
sitting in the cabinet for few months liao

i skippied the santan again
as it's already very aromatic liao

snakie says it's nice but just a little too spicy
n the amount of chilli oil
 that came with the packet is excessively too much
no matter how much i scooped with the oil remover
>_<"

made Turmeric Rice to go with the curry
yum~♥

p/s:
another bloody tragedy happened in the kitchen again
the blood splashed every where
while i was chopping the chicken
wahhhhhhhhhhhh....

Microwaved Pop Corn

last time i said i wanna try to use microwave to pop my corn
so i did~!
.
use microwave-defrost mode to melt some butter
add in some sugar
throw in a handful of dried corn
mix well
put everything in a big bowl
cover with a plate
on high fire for 1 minute
n another 1 minute
n another 1 minute
n another 1 minute
... ... ... ...
until no more popping sound in there
.
so simple with no mess~
love it!

i must get a dough to play with~

我在袋子里找到两条辣椒鱼
还用斑兰叶卷着的呢
不知道又从哪个电视节目学回来的用烤箱弄热10分钟就可以美味上桌啦

还有一颗小小的白菜
剁了点虾米和蒜茸再加点蚝油~ 炒一炒

还有一条玉蜀黍和胡萝卜
加点瘦肉煲汤去

in Subang Parade's Rotiboy
while i was wandering alone there
n i was so excited...
flew over to Carrefour to pick up ingredients to make these:

this round of patty i've skipped onion n garlic
as they were for my friends at work
'fai si' they have bad breath after eating lar...

dunno y nowdays my hand very itchy to do packaging

 packed them with all heart

Fun with Gluten Balls

this is not 豆腐卜(Tofu Puff)
it's 面筋 (Gluten Ball)
was so excited to see this in Pudu Wet Market
because it's not selling in any where near me

a roll of 10 balls cost rm1.80 in the wet market

i dunno wat's this recipe called
 as i simply hantam to my taste again
but i love the combination
*chopped ginger, garlic & shallot
+ gluten balls + baby black fungus + korean vermicelli
+ sugar + soy sauce + oyster sauce

this is a dish to clear old stock in the fridge

Rejuvenation

Chicken Wing Rice



had really horrible weeks continuosly
made myself this pampering lunch on the last rough day
.
it started with seeing the Chicken Wing Rice
on Wong Kok CCT's menu
hand very itchy to challenge this dish~
.
marinated the wings for a few hours with
mirin + pepper + oyster sauce + cooking sherry

roast 160'c for 20 mins
while keep on sapu-ing the marinated sauce
lastly glaze a layer of honey
n bake 100'c for another 10 mins

la la la la laaa~♪♫♪♫

RT战利品中最豪华的综合坚果塔
这个10cm的塔就rm7.50了 *ouch*
第二天的早餐之一

烧肉和叉烧吃不完
思念偶像建议用来炒饭
在我的厨房里混久了的常客应该很少看到我炒饭的吧……


那一大锅的[千年老汤]也有剩
加了一倍的水再煮一个小时
味道还是那么浓~ 真是厉害的咯!

给思念的惊喜~♥

思念~
经过长年累月的碎碎念……
我们终于等到你的偶像再度下厨了~
他又来把我的厨房翻转再翻转
还把我弄到发脾气 (真的那种咯……)
 这样的画面令我想起MASA sifu =P

由思念偶像指导~ ah yan 动手动脚煮出来的红豆汤
本来是饭后甜品~ 但是大家都饿扁扁了
所以它变成了开胃汤~ 呵呵!
买不到陈皮~ 但有卖一整颗干的柑(叫什么?)
还有很多龙眼干和斑兰叶咯!
最后师傅亲自下手放了红糖

这堆爆香的东东是这一餐的精华~
里面有姜+蒜+葱+小辣椒+虾米

这片石斑鱼背后~ 有一个很乌龙的典故
早上从巴刹回来~ 不知道谁把鱼片放进冷冻格
我却一直以为它在冰箱的下格
到要煮的时候就找不到鱼~ 慌了!
结果发现它硬邦邦的躺在freezer里面
哎哟!!!
还好有微波炉=="
这鱼是蒸出来的~ 特别之处是在于水里放了很多斑兰叶
 然后那些调味料他死都不肯教我 (因为我之前发脾气咯)
里面有asam片,酸柑汁…… 还有秘密调味>=(
但是真的好好吃!!!!他取名叫[错美] -很深奥~

这碗叫[千年老汤] - 也是他取的!
煲了五个小时的莲藕花生汤
老公说都变gravy了~ 呵呵!
里面有猪骨+鸡骨+蚝鼓+红枣+枸杞+大小花生+莲藕

巴刹买的烧肉~ 偶像用grilling pan 把油逼出来~ 香香的
在等上其他菜的时候~ 大家轮流偷吃了=P

苋菜有两种煮法:

(煮法又是秘密 - 生气!)

终于可以吃饭啦!
大家都饿扁扁累坏了~

吃着饭的时候~ 突然想到第二天的早餐没着落~
就冒雨到RT (雅特面包果子工坊)买面包
两个人一到那里就疯了
买了rm56.60的蛋糕和面包!

晚餐吃到大家都撑得好痛苦
但晚上那两个瓜说突然想喝点什么
我就*卷起袖子*去开放我的‘吧台’!
revive + lime juice + vodka + ice + ♥
