it's dumpling festival again~
last year i made my own dumpling
which tasted awesome
but look like Loh Mai Kai :P
this year...
ah yan has no extra energy to make own dumpling loo...
.
but still manage to wish everybody~

the Simplicity

another round of feeling yickie with outside food
i went into the kitchen again~
with my lousy condition now...
i gotto keep everything SIMPLE!

wanted to grill Pandan Chicken
but lazy to bring out the oven ler :P
.
so i hantam this Soy Sauce Chicken
with completely my own way
most probably too long didn't cook liao~
the mini chicken drumstick was not cooked

Plain ABC Soup without meat
trying to cut down pork
due to the Swine Flu thingie mar...

Ready in 30 mins

after a long long while of eating outside food
ah yan finally step into the kitchen again
had these done within half an hour
(except the soup from slow cooker lar)

Charleston Chili bought from Cameron Highland
the auntie from the market cheated me
that this Chili ONLY available in Cameron
mana tau when i came back
i found it in ALL the Jusco supermarket

it was so damn spicy tat
even by just sniffing it also can kena choked
i used my bare hands to clean the seed
ended up my hands were so painful for TWO days!

i had no idea how to cook them
the auntie (cheated me again) taught me to
fry with ikan bilis & CHILI PADI

lucky i didn't listen to her
or else the whole plate can feed the dusbin liao!

since it is so huge
i stuffed minced pork n cubed prawn in them
(marinate with sugar, salt, pepper, sesame oil)
steamed for 8 minutes
seasoning: chopped spring onion from my own garden
+ soya sauce + sesame oil
if u're not a crazy hot & spicy lover
NEVER EVER try this chili... it kills! (seriously not joking)

after coming back from Taiwan in year 2007
one of the thing i miss the most
is their Taiwanese Pearl Rice!
so lucky tat my colleague's mom
found it in the wet market near their area
.
hmmm...
it doesn't have the fragrant taste i missed
only the stickiness
