Aug/21 - Painting with Textures - Landscape

I signed up for the Summer Retreat 2021 (mini classes of 100 artists). This was from Day 4, Adding Texture To Watercolors tutorial with Jean Dixon. These are things I already use but was fun playing with again...

The tall skinny image below is with cling wrap and the green ones are with salt.

Julie Wildman - Resist - And more from Day 2

I took a 3day ZOOM class with Julie Wildman - these are more of the things I made during day 2

I'm finally finding a use for my Washi tape... I masked off my design, watercolored and sprinkled salt.

Love the salt effect on the card below. Added some die cut snowflakes (Quietfire Design/Elizabeth Craft Designs) and then some bling...AB rhinestones

On the card below I'm using the Molotow pen with masking fluid again. Salted watercolor background and rubber stamped and heat embossed snowflakes.

Julie Wildman - Resist - Day 2 con't

I took a 3 day ZOOM class with Julie Wildman - these are more of the things I made during day 2

I'm using a Molotow pen filled with Pebeo masking fluid for the card above. Love using the pen.

On the card below, cut out a stencil using Tim's masking sheets. This card is my favorite from all 15 cards that I created during this 3 day class. I love the background watercolors and the salt effect on them.
