There's a challenge to create an ATC every day in June (use the tag #ATCAD2019 on all social media)... And with Kathy Jo's demo from Thursday Letters Live on Quietfire Design where she demo'd making bubble artworks. Perfect for experiments for ATC's and I've paired it up with my new stamps from Pink Ink Designs. These are day 1 & 2
I'm using a couple dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Fun Play" 2pce set, also available on Quietfire Design HERE
In a small wide lip container put a
bit of water, add a couple drops of liquid dish soap and some liquid
metals from Ken Oliver. Blow with a straw till you get a nice bunch of
bubbles above the container. Press into the bubbles
- not touching the lip of the container and repeat. Or move bubbles
with your straw.
PS: mark or identify which end you will be blowing through so you don't accidentally get inks all over your mouth...
I used Copper first. Found it a bit
too light so added the Jade and continued playing with the bubbles on
white 110# cardstock. You can see some of the sparkle from the metals.
Both ATC's use Pink Ink Designs "Sea
Nymphs" stamped using Versafine Clair "Twilight" and clear embossed.
Wings and fins highlighted with Quickie glue pen and sprinkled with
"Peacock Blue" and "Chartreuse" micro fine glitter.
