On Genoa Bond paper drew out my bow using a ZIG Writer, adding gaphite shading and a holograph sticker.
Lettering with a broad edge red ZIG calligraphy pen in a funky style. Shadowed with a Juice Up pen.

Hanukkah Cards 2025

size: 6"h x 4.5"w
On Staples 110 cardstock created the Hanukkah cards using Calligraphy marker pens for the blue card & Kuretake metallic paint for the copper/gold card

Orange - Color Me Orange

size: 2.25"h x 3.5"w
I came across something in my stash while I was looking for something else... I didn't have a date on it so have no idea when I actually created it... but it must have been eons ago since I don't remember it. Anyway liked it so created this piece.
On Canson Pen & Ink paper kind of drew out the letters then went over them with a ZIG Calligraphy marker (small edge). Colored the internal areas using Prisma colored pencils. Then decided to add the image of an orange.
I'm pleased with the results.

I'm taking a 2 day class with Julie Wildman "Continuous Line" thru Edmonton Calligraphy Society. This was the first thing we did... Then we got into lettering stuff...
On Genoa Bond paper started with the tip and worked towards the handle including that cross hatching area...

Chain - Give Up Worry

I saw this chain design on Facebook I thin... so started playing with the design.

Fickle - Tread Lightly

This is my 3rd piece I created for the Fish Creek exhibit here in Calgary from Oct 30 to Nov 27th.I hadn't realized we could enter 3 pieces... so created this one yesterday. I love Fickle writing it's just so funky... and it's been a wile I haven't gotten in to pen and pencil drawing.

Oct/19 - Side Fold Coloring Poinsettia - Bold & Beautiful

I came across a gorgeously colored green poinsettia and had to imitate it done by Laura Jane using The Ton "Poinsettia Close Up" background stamp. You can see her post HERE. I don't have this particular stamp from 2017, so I hand drew my interpretation of the image. I have since made it in 4 other colors beside the green one...

Mar/19 - Round Easel Plumeria - ECD Happy Birthday - Let The Beauty

This is another flower image I hand drew - Plumeria. Love the petal shapes on this flower. Colored them at our last gals get together and finished it off when I got home.

Mar/19 - EaselCrocus - ECD Spring - Only Those Who Are Willing

I'm so wanting spring to get here already... So to hurry up the process I hand drew some crocus blooms on the front of the card and colored them at our last gals get together. The crocus on the floor are from Flourishes. Finished it off when I got home.
