ID: wk 12 - Resist - Messy

On Canson Pen and Ink paper applied my resist (W/N Art Masking Fluid). I checked my database and it was purchased in 2013... Was a little tacky so added a few drops of water and stirred... Applied to my paper with a pointed nib (Hunt Falcon #97). When dry used a "The Palmer Dynasty" 1" brush with 3 colors of ink (Ecoline Lemon Yellow and a touch of Sky Cyan Blue which I removed from the brush but it still had some residue... and de'Atrementis Pearlescent ink Carnelien Red-Gold, and misted the brush with water.
Added shadow with graphite and paper stump.

I was playing with a new 1" brush I just bought (The Palmer by Dynasty) and had left over paint from the project I just worked on so created the backgroundfor this piece... now a few days later added the text with a Nikko G nib and Sumi ink in a script style.

On Canson Pen & Ink paper created the wavy lines using a new brush I just bought... The Palmer by Dynasty 2" synthetic shader. I dampened the bristles and patted dry with a paper towel. Dotted the tip with Magic Color inks in the rainbow colors, then created the wavy lines.
Calligraphy done with both sides of an Itoya Doubleheader black marker in Lisbet's ZEEP interpretation. The words describe me perfectly...
