I saw something in my Facebook feed by Andrea Wunderlich and it inspired me...

Continuing to play on black cardstock, so with the left over piece from my previous post (12 x 12 scrapbook cardstock.)
Using a white Uniball Signo pen drew out the letters then created the design background using Black Edition colored pencils.

Scribbled Lives Wk 5 - Birth Gems - Turquoise

Created the gem artwork and cut it out using it as my "o" for my gem name. On black scrapbook cardstock drew my main word coloring with Black Edition colored pencils and a Gelly Roll white gel pen.

Quote written in Fickle lettering style with Bleed Proof white and Zebra nib.

Fire Doodle - Strongest Steel

On Edge Mixed Media paper drew my fiery doodled design using various sizes of Pitt Artist Fine Liner pens.  Colored with Black Edition colored pencils and Unibal gold gel pen.
Text written in elongated monoline with a .7 Pitt pen.

Gold Leaf Flowers - Your Future

Since I haven't gilded in years... there's a lot to be said about this piece... I'll need to practice a bit more BIG GRIN (or maybe a lot more)

On Black Field Drawing paper gilded my design using US ArtQuest Duo adhesive in a needle nose bottle. Gilded with an unknown brand of imitation gold leaf. Colored with Black Edition colored pencils. Added some pointed pen leafy images using Kuretake Gold Mica ink.

On Stillman &  Birn Nova Tria Mixed Media black paper drew out my letters, outlined with a white Uniball gel pen and colored with Black Edition colored pencils in 2 tones for each letter than put a 3D effect on the right side of each letter. Added curlicues with a gold Juice Up pen.

I was checking Instagram again and came cross this style of doodle and was in a mood to create one myself...

On Edge Mixed Media paper using a Juice Up pen and Black Edition colored pencils and add Uniball white gel pen floral dots. Since I had doodle the whole page had no place to add my quote so cut away where the quote would go. Wrote the quote on a separate piece of text paper and adhere the artwork onto that piece

Postage Stamp - Sakura Branch 32c

I've been playing with creating postage stamps, Not sure why... but having fun anyway... I'm planing to shrink them in size and then create framed wax seal artwork. Will see how that works out... Hence the scanning so I have lots to mess up with...ROFL

On Edge Mixed Media paper using a Juice Up Pen. Colored the background with Posca pens but didn't like the color of the sky... so changed to the blue and now it looks like a water and sky background. I kinda like that. Not my original intention... The rest was colored with Black Edtition colored pencils.

Scribbled Lives 2024 - Wk 24 - Numbered BD Card

Size: 5"sq
On black cardstock (in a 4" square) drew out the lines in the numbers using a white Gelly Roll pen then colored with Black Edition colored pencils in blues and greens (analogous). Folded the cardstock to create a 5" sq card using a scalloped corner punch. My BD card wouldn't be complete without some gems...

I was with my Crafty Dozen gals again and created this piece asking one of my friends for the first word that came into her mind and then creating around it...

Again I created a template of the letter from some cardstock and then just twisted and turned it to create the design.

On Recollections black cardstock using a pointed nib and Bleed Proof White ink drew out the outline. Colored with Black Edition colored pencils.
Decorative detail done with Juice Up Metallic pens in various colors. Added the word "Quirky" using a Signo white gel pen in a funky Art Nouveau style.
