Whimsical Starts Workshop 2022 - WC booklet - Do What Makes You Happy. I signed up for the 5 days of mini classes/1 artists hosted by Kelly & Yvonne Barone.

It's extremely rare I make something to use in the future... I'm usually someone that creates and works on the project when I think about it.. But I enjoyed making it and painting my pages and I even added 2 quotes.

I finally got around to playing with my Deco Art Media paints (available from (Kensington Art Supplies) making a similar background that I made for the Phone Stand taught by Tracie Moreau at "The Paper And Ink Boutique" last month... I made 2 cards with the background and this is the second one.

Our Guild (BVCG.ca) has a theme of "Laugh, Learn" for our November /19 Journal. It's not a theme that inspires me like the "word" theme I did a few months... but c'est ala vie... I looked and looked and couldn't find anything that resonated with me.. And then there it was and I had 1 day to create it before the deadline.

Mixed Media Phone Stand

I took a 2hour mini workshop at "The Paper And Ink Boutique" here in Calgary this week. Loved it. The class was taught by Tracy Moreau who is a Deco Art ambassador. 

Granted I'm not really in to mixed media, and I don't own a mobile/cell phone... but I thoroughly enjoyed this class.  When I looked at the image on the website I gathered my supplies with similar items but in my own style. BIG GRIN.

I also brought my own acrylics. But have since purchased the Deco Art Media acrylic paints which are translucent but vibrant.
