Sweet November Stamps ~ Dozer Hits the Skate Park!

Today I’m excited to share a card featuring one of the newest digital images from the Dog Park series at Sweet November Stamps. This cutie is Dozer the English Bulldog—and just look at that face! πŸΆπŸ’•

Dozer comes with his very own skateboard, which makes him even more fun to design with. I thought he needed a cool spot to skate, so I drew in a cityscape background to give him the perfect park setting. Everything is colored up using my trusty Copic Markers, from the bright blue skies to the greenery in the background and, of course, Dozer himself.

For the sentiment, I used "You're Pawsitively RAD"—because let’s be honest, Dozer is pawsitively rad on that board! πŸ›Ή✨

This card was extra special because it went out to my Sweet November Stamps PenPal for August, where our theme was Animals. I couldn’t resist sending this happy skater pup to spread some smiles!

If you love playful pups, the Dog Park series has four adorable new digital images you’ll definitely want to check out.

Have a great hump day!

Sweet November Stamps & Craft Roulette ~ Sending Autumn Smiles

Happy crafty friends! 🌟

Today I’m sharing my latest project created for Craft Roulette, Episode #280, featuring some of my favorite Sweet November Stamps.

For this card, I combined the adorable SN Gal Deb and Digby with the Background Builder: Day at the Park set to create a cozy, hometown-inspired scene. I wanted it to feel like a casual walk along the riverside in Autumn – the colorful trees, calm water, and park lamps really add that “home sweet home” vibe.

Craft Roulette Parameters

This past week’s spin of the Craft Roulette wheel gave us:

  • Project: Thinking of You → I chose a sweet embossed sentiment, “Sending Smiles”.

  • Colors: Hometown Colors → My riverside park and autumn palette reflect the colors that remind me of home.

  • Element: Cup or Glass → The globes on the light posts represent the glass element.

  • Random: Add a Doodle → I’m calling sweet Digby a “Doodle” breed of pup! 🐢✨

Card Details

Deb and her faithful pup, Digby, are all dressed up for a stroll by the water. I colored everything using Copic Markers, bringing in warm Autumn tones to highlight the cozy feel of the season.  To create the textured sidewalk, I laid down my dark grey Copic base layers and then used a nappy rag of cloth with some Copic Blending solution to push the color into the cardstock. The park background layers beautifully with this duo and sets the scene for a heartfelt “thinking of you” card that’s sure to brighten someone’s day.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Fair Fun Ferris Wheel

Today I’m sharing a card featuring the brand new digital stamp collection Fair Fun from Sweet November Stamps. This fun release includes four full-panel digital scenes, perfect for creating quick, immersive cards that look like you spent hours designing!

For my card, I chose the Ferris wheel scene – nothing says summer fair quite like a ride to the top with a friend. I colored the entire scene with Copic Markers, bringing the nighttime fairgrounds to life. To make the starry sky pop, I added extra twinkling details using Copic Blender and a white Sharpie paint marker.

Once my scene was complete, I used the Catherine Pooler Designs "Dots & Scallops Die" to cut it out and added my sentiment using the "Sentiment Banner Dies" for a clean finish.

This scene was so much fun to color and really captures the magic of the fair!

I hope you have a magical weekend!

Sweet November Stamps ~ There's NEW Pups in Town!

Today I'm excited to share a fun and furry birthday card featuring the newest additions to the Sweet November Stamps digital collection — meet the latest members of the Dog Park digital stamp series!

🐢 Ollie the Labrador
🐩 Minnie the Maltipoo
πŸ•‍🦺 Sarge the Doberman (available in two versions!)
🐾 Dozer the English Bulldog

These lovable pups are full of personality and perfect for pet-themed creations. I arranged them in four playful panels, each one showing off their unique charm. To set the mood, I created a dabbled purple backdrop using Copic Blender Solution and a ratty cloth for some fun, fuzzy texture — mimicking the fur of our furry friends!

To top it all off, I spelled out a bold "WOOF" using the Christmas Cookies: Alphabets digital set — such a fun way to bark out a birthday wish. The sentiment reads:
“…that’s ‘Happy Birthday’ in dog speak!” πŸΎπŸŽ‰

Everything is colored with Copic Markers, allowing me to bring each dog’s personality to life with shading and color.

Whether you're a dog lover or just need a cheerful card to bring a smile, this new Dog Park release is a total tail-wagger!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Sending You Oceans of Love

Today I'm sharing a serene underwater scene featuring the graceful SN Gal Merielle from Sweet November Stamps. This enchanting mermaid is diving through a lush kelp forest, bringing a message of love from beneath the sea.

To create the underwater background, I used the Background Builder: Kelp Bed stamp set to layer a forest of swaying seaweed. The smooth, vibrant ocean hues were achieved with my Copic Airbrush System, giving a dreamy gradient to the entire scene. To add that magical underwater touch, I used my Copic Blender Marker to create soft, diffused bubbles.

Merielle herself was colored with Copic Markers, and I just love how her pink and purple tones pop against the cool blues and greens of the ocean. The sentiment “Sending you oceans of love” adds the perfect finishing touch for a card meant to brighten someone’s day.

Thanks for swimming by today! Let me know in the comments how you like to build your ocean scenes.

Happy crafting!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Birthday Wishes from the Park

Hi crafty friends!  Hope you're having a great weekend so far!

Today I’m excited to share a mini slimline card that features the absolutely adorable "SN Gals: Deb and Digby" stamp set from Sweet November Stamps

I paired this sweet duo with the "Background Builder: At the Park" clear stamp set to create a peaceful riverside stroll that’s perfect for a birthday greeting!

Deb is all dressed up in cozy athleisure wear, taking her happy golden retriever, Digby, for a walk on a sunny day. I had so much fun coloring them both with Copic Markers, giving special attention to Digby’s fluffy fur and Deb’s stylish outfit.

To bring the background to life, I used the "At the Park" builder to create a serene scene with water, trees, and a winding path. For some added interest, I used a textured piece of cloth and Copic Blender Solution to give the paved path a realistic grainy texture—such a simple technique, but it adds so much depth!

To finish it off, I stamped a birthday sentiment from the "Birthdays Are the Best" stamp set—it's such a versatile set, and this elegant script was the perfect touch for this cheerful card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this card inspires you to take your stamps for a walk in the park too. 🐾

Have a great week!

Sweet November Stamps ~ So Many Books, So Little Time

Happy Saturday all!  Last weekend Sweet November Stamp released a whole new collection of clear stamps!  This collection is called Fab Favorites

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the new "SN Gals: Libby & Laura" clear stamp set.  I also used the cool "Simple Room: Reading Nook Add-On" stamp set to set the scene.  I began by selecting our lounging lady and her puppy.

To begin, I stamped our sweet sleeping puppy, masked him, then I stamped our cozy girl.  I masked her off and stamped the plant.  I masked the plant and stamped the 3 legged table, the bookshelf and the floor lamp.

I began coloring my carpet first.  I laid down my base beige color of Copic Marker first.   Then I took a rag with some Copic Blending solution.  This gives the rug a texture.  Once it was dry, I could go on with coloring the rest of my card panel.

I wanted a texture to my wall as well so I an up and down motion for layer one and then right to left on layer two. This gives the appearance of a fabric texture on the wall.  I love the way it turned out!

I love the end result of this card.  I love the rich colors of the scene.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

I paired her with some digital flowers, "Scene Builder: Dahlia & Peony".

Everything including the sky is colored in using Copic Markers.

I used some Copic Blender solution to add some spotty-dotties to the sky.  For the sparkle, I used some White Gel Pen.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Something to Crow About

Happy Saturday!  Today I'm sharing a festively fun card featuring one of the adorable digital stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps.

Today's card features one our previously released digital stamp sets called "Something to Crow About: Sam Scarecrow".

I'm always in need of more birthday cards so I made this cutie a celebratory card!

I created this scene to include the cornstalks from the "Something to Crow About: Scene Builder" set plus the fence from the "Scene Builder: Pumpkin Patch" digital stamp sets.  The crows can be found in the Something to Crow About sets of either "Sam Scarecrow" or "Sally Scarecrow".

To achieve the cool sky texture, I first added all of my blue colors of Copic down on the paper.  Then I used a nappy piece of towel, sprayed some Copic Blender Solution on it and laid it across the sky.  This was the very FIRST thing I colored!  Sometimes the ink in the background bleeds after this technique.  PLUS if you have anything else colored in, the Copic Blender Solution can react with those areas too - so you have to do this technique before anything else.

I hope you like it!  I think came out quite well!

Have a great weekend!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Morning Glory Fairy

Happy Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing another whimsical card featuring one of the new clear stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps released just a few weeks ago.

Today's card features the new "September Morning Glory" stamp set.  She's right there in the front!

To pair her up, I used the adorable "May Lily of the Valley" and the "April Daisy" little fairies.

The background was fun to create!  It's a peek into the fairy world for sure.

To finish off the card, I used a greeting from the "'Bominable" stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Roulette ~ Hap-BEE Birthday!

Happy Thursday all!  Today's card was created for this week's Craft Roulette episode.  This is my 81st submission.

The four parameters that the wheel gave us this week were:

  • Project: Card with squares (I used patterned paper with squares)
  • Colors: Bee Garden Colors (I was inspired by a woodsy scene)
  • Element: Monday (Monday = "moon" day.)
  • Random: Use a Marker(s) (colored with Copic Markers!)

So this week's card features one of the adorable bees from the "The Bees" digital stamp set from Sweet November Stamps.  I also included the greet tree from "Cozy Fall Critters: Tree House".

To achieve the look of grass, I used some Copic Blender Solution and a textured piece of cloth to apply to the already colored grass.

For the sky, I masked off my bee and tree and a circle for the moon.  Then I blended some Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink around the moon first.  Then I used Blueprint Sketch Oxide for the remainder of the sky.

For the final touch, I used some square patterned paper from the "Black Tie Gala" pack from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I hope you check out Craft Roulette!  We watch and play every Friday.  Join us over on the YouTube channel at 6:10pm CST.

See you there!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Dragon Cavern

Happy weekend all!  Today I'm sharing a little scaly cutie from Sweet November Stamps.

This card is a mix of digital stamps and clear stamps. I began by printing out the "Vampire Cavern" digital image.  I also created a mask for the cave and applied it to the front panel.

Then I stamped the dragon from the "Extraordinarily Happy" hanging outside the cave opening.  I also stamped one of the little dragonflies from the "Full of Wonder" stamp set.

I colored in the cavern and the outside of the cavern and the hanging dragon.

Next I stamped, colored and fussy cut out the dragon from the "Full of Wonder" stamp set. I attached him to the card front.  I also added the sentiment from the same stamp set on the card front.

To get the scales on his hips, I used my Copic Marker Blender pen to push the ink into the paper and lighten it.

Such a fun card using these super cute dragons.

Have a great day!
