A Surprise Date.

There's a curious cute couple of penguins that have been wandering about the garden. It seems that they are on a date! Oh what's this? Mister King Penguin is carrying a heart shaped object! I wonder if it is a present for the misses! How excited she must be to receive a lovely gift before valentines day :)





This cute couple will be made available to order, and will soon be listed in my Etsy Shop. It makes for a great valentines gift, but is also a nice present during any time of the year to show the one you love that you are thinking about them :)

Created from 100% organic cotton yarns, stuffed with organic wool. Features 6mm black plastic safety eyes, embroidered nose and smile. Still missing his tag, but that will be attached to the back once my tags arrive ^^ Did I mention that his ears are somewhat posable? It's very cool :D

I still can't get over how cute it turned out *happy dance* ^______^

So very sorry for my absence. I've been super busy with orders and making new stuff for my shop! One of which is now currently available in my shop ^^ ta-da! my Mini Felt Mushroom Bears are in my shop and are ready to travel around with you wherever you go!







They are roughly 2.5" tall, have 3mm black matte bead eyes, are fully hand cut out of a wool-acrylic blend felt, hand stitched with colour coordinating embroidery thread, and filled with polyfil toy stuffing ^^

They're so super cute! I really enjoyed making these.
Currently the colours I have available are: Light pink, dark pink, light yellow, dark yellow, robins egg blue, dark blue, light green, and white. If you'd like a different colour than what is listed, please send me a convo or reply to this post to let me know and I will let you know the other colours that I have available ^^

Introducing: Mushroom Bear Charms

Yes I have decided to make mushroom bear accessories out of felt (since I have a ton of felt at home), and I'm loving how they've turned out. Look forward to seeing them in my shop very soon :D For now enjoy this photo as my 'sneak preview' hahaha.



They are bag accessories, but you can also use them to dress up your key chain, or even your cellphone (if you'd like it as a cellphone accessory, please convo me ahead of time as I would have to purchase the cellphone straps to use lol).
They will also be available in a variety of colours, so please check out my etsy shop later on this week to see if I have listed them ^^

Once I've listed the Mushroom Bears in my Etsy Shop, please note that they will be made to order. Depending on whether or not the yarn colour is in stock at my local yarn store I may have to order the yarn which would take an extra 3 - 5 days (approximately) to reach me before I can start working on the bears. If the yarns are in stock in the store, then production time is quicker and you'll be able to receive your bears a lot sooner. Please take this possibility into consideration if you are interested in placing an order. There are other colours available. A list will be posted up on here soon. Please also note that the colours of the bears in the photos are the 'same colour' but different dye lot. Thus, the colour of the yarn I use for your bear, although it is the same colour, its shade may slightly differ due to variations in dye lots. But the colour difference is very minor :)

I'm always open to using different kinds of yarns/colours for the toys that I create so if you ever see something you like but would like it to be made slightly differently, please don't hesitate to contact me :) I welcome custom orders :)

* Note: the exact bears in the photos are not for sale. One is my original, and the bigger version has already been sold. They were used in my photos for demonstration purposes only ^^

Some cute owls and a mini carrot bunny.

I had a custom order for two owls recently. One owl was to be in its regular colour whereas the other was to be blue! I had a lot of fun making these two owls. I'm so happy with how they've turned out so I thought that I would share some photos :)





These owls feature rounder pupils which are bigger in size, needle felted eyes, and beak, and were knitted from my own pattern. They can stand on their own, and were stuffed with high quality polyester toy fiberfill which is non-allergenic :) If you'd like some owls for yourself, please check out my listing for Kai the sleepy owl :)

I also had a request from my sister to make her friend a birthday present. She wanted to give her friend a carrot bunny, and came up with the idea of using my brown yarn to create a chocolate carrot bunny :) I really love how this carrot bunny turned out and I'm thinking of using the height of this carrot bunny as the new standard height for all of my future carrot bunnies :)




This carrot bunny was crocheted with acrylic yarn using my own pattern. She features 6mm black plastic safety eyes, needle felted pink cheeks, and green crocheted cotton scarf. She also has a cute cotton tail as well :) One may be listed in my shop soon but if you have any requests for different colours please don't hesitate to ask me :)

Introducing: Mushroom Bear Stationary Letter Note Set

My new stationary letter note set is finished, and is now posted in my Etsy Shop. You may access it HERE :)



This stationary letter note set features 8 unique and adorable mushroom bear designs, which fill up 8 pages. There are 2 note designs on each page and you will therefore be receiving 16 pages of stationary! But of course you may print out as many as you wish).

Inspired by my mushroom bear, this stationary letter note set features Jiyong the mushroom bear traveling around with his little brother Wooyong, in search of delicious and colourful mushrooms! Before heading to the mushroom forest, little Wooyong found a super cute red balloon, but had left it at home because he didn't want to lose it~

This adorable stationary letter note set was created with ultimate cuteness and 'saving ink' in mind. The designs are simple, and the use of ink minimal. Each set has a white background and a very light blue boarder. Some pages are lined, and some are unlined, giving you some variety.

They can be used for writing letters to loved ones, jotting down notes, doodling -- the possibilities are endless!

Introducing: Aika

Hello everyone. This is Aika. She is an earthy brown kitty and is 17" tall. Say hello Aika -- *hello*

I'm so happy to have finally finished crocheting her :)
She was mostly crocheted using chunky earthy brown acrylic-wool blend yarns featuring flecks of green, red, and yellow. Her face, hands, and feet, were all crocheted with a chunky acrylic cream coloured yarn. Her nose was embroidered with a soft violet cotton yarn. Aika's mouth and whiskers were embroidered using cotton embroidery thread. Her tail was crocheted using another chunky earthy brown acrylic-wool blend yarn (minus the flecks). She has plastic 7 mm safety eyes (black), is stuffed with high quality polyester toy stuffing, is able to sit on her own (but sometimes with a little help), and is oh so huggable, you'll just want to snuggle up to her while you fall asleep in bed :) Aika is a super special kitty, being 17" tall, she is the first kitty that I have crocheted (after drawing her up in my sketchbook). I'm super happy with how she turned out :)

She will also be customizable:
- choose a nose colour
- whiskers or no whiskers (if you choose whiskers, one side or both sides)
- tail (same as body colour or the regular earthy brown colour)
- hands and feet (cream or the same as the body colour)

^ All of the above should be answered in the message to seller box upon checkout. If left blank, I may ask you these questions in a follow up conversation message. If I still receive no answer, she will be made the way she is shown in the photos.

A carrotbun bunny brooch.

Ta-da! here is the carrotbun bunny brooch that I have been working on :) It is crocheted with 100% cotton yarn (off-white colour), and features 4.5mm plastic safety eyes, a pin back, embroidered cheeks and mouth, and glasses made out of 100% cotton crochet thread (black), which was made from tying a series of knots together. No wires or glue was used, yet it is able to hold it's shape pretty well. The glasses were then sewn onto mister carrotbun so that he'll never loose them :) He is approximately 2.5" tall, by 1.5" wide. Hope you like him~

Introducing: Mushroom Bears

Yeah, I still haven't thought up a better name for them, SO they will (for now) be known as my cute little mushroom bears. I don't know why I write "they" when I currently have made just "one" -- but soon they will really be a "they", if that makes any sense? Anyways, without further adieu, have your sneak preview of my very cute Mushroom Bear!






I bet you were thinking it would look like a real mushroom! (haha). Well, to me it has the shape of a mushroom, and that is why I refer to my little bear as a mushroom bear.

This particular mushroom bear loves (and I mean LOVES) to fold paper cranes. Ever since discovering out how to make them, he's been folding them nonstop! His goal is to fold 1000 colourful paper cranes, and have them flying all around him. So far, he has completed 17 paper cranes, and one turtle (because he thinks that turtles are cute). What a little cutie ^^ He is able to sit on his own without falling over (unless you tip him over, but he doesn't like that very much). He can even hold paper cranes in his hands :)

This particular mushroom bear was crocheted out of a combination of 3 different yarns:
- a bulky natural bamboo yarn (super eco-friendly; wicker colour; 86% bamboo, 12% acrylic, 2% polyester)
- a bulky acrylic wool blend yarn (earthy brown colour; 75% acrylic, 25% wool)
- a bulky acrylic yarn (cream/ivory colour; 100% acrylic)

He's got 4.5mm safety eyes, an embroidered nose (brown cotton embroidery thread), and he is stuffed with high quality 100% polyester fiberfill toy stuffing which is non-allergenic :D:D:D

I love this little mushroom bear to bits. I think I will name him ... Jiyong! YES I have given my bear a korean name :) yay~

SO now for important stuff.

As I have only made one bear (currently), it will only be available in my Etsy shop as made to order (for now). But soon I hope to have more quantity in stock so that they will ship out right away, rather than 4 days later. So as a made to order item, it will take approximately 4 to 7 days (after payment has been processed) for the bear to be made and ship out to your address. Due to the handmade nature of these bears, slight variations may occur from the original, BUT I will try my hardest to make them look as similar as possible. Feel free to give your bear a different name if you wish. I also plan on having different colours made available soon, so I will blog about it when that happens :)

My mushroom bear should be listed in my shop pretty soon. I will go add it after I am finished writing this vary blog post :) and will add the link on here afterwards^^ He costs $20 USD and will be one of my collectable items :) Did I mention how super super soft he is? He will come lovingly gift wrapped, and packaged either in a mini box or a bubble envelope~ More info will be posted on my etsy page :)
