According to a report on Forbes.com, financial analyst corporation Piper Jaffray said that the Xbox 360 is on schedule for a November release in the U.S. and Europe and shortly after in Japan.

While Microsoft hasn't given any number of how many units will be ready at the system's launch, the Forbes article says Piper Jaffray is speculating that about one million to ship in the U.S., 400,000 in Europe and 200,000 in Japan before the year's end.

The analyst also guessed that about 15 games will be ready for the system's launch, with anywhere between 25 and 40 games by the end of the year. Piper Jaffray also said that there are over 160 titles in development around the globe for Microsoft's new console.

Microsoft has also failed to formally announce a price for the Xbox 360, but the market analyst anticipates that Microsoft will have one unit available for $299, with another unit with "additional hardware components (e.g., hard-drive option, extra controller, memory option) that core users will likely buy anyway," available with a price tag of $399.
