Today's card is a lot different for me...I don't really do 'cute' and I'm not very good at colouring but I am very happy with how today's card turned out. I placed my stamp in my Misti and stamped my image with DI Antique Linen and water coloured the image. Once I was finished colouring, I then restamped the image with black ink. I also sponged the sky with what left over ink was still on my blending brush from when I had used it last and added my sentiment. I then die cut several panels and layered them on my card front. I also sponged the edges of the base card with left over ink on my purple blending brush as well.

Christmas Cheer

I have had this piece of card with a hot foil border sitting on my desk for ages so today I thought I need to use this! So I trimmed a piece of gold card to frame it, picked a suitable sentiment and stamped, coloured and fussy cut the little penguin which I popped up on mounting tape for some added dimension. I love the simplicity of this card and the white space, hope you do too.

A little bird told me...

I created todays cards with a flower, some leaves and little bird that were laying around on my desk. I also used my new TE Blender Brushes for the first time today since getting them as a Christmas present from my hubby. They are sooo pretty, I didn't want to put ink on them!! LOL!! 

I sponged a pink rectangle and then layered my elements. Die cut a birthday sentiment and stamped my 'happy', added some sequins to finish it all off and mounted it on pink card.

Wonderful Birthday

My first time playing with Copics...swiped the background with Shimmer Stix Dauber 'Rose Gold' to create my stripes then stamped my sentiment and flowers that I embossed with white embossing powder. Coloured with my copics and added some small dots with a Tomboy pen in the gaps then pop dotted the rest of my sentiment.

Funky Floral Happy Birthday

Definitely my last card for the long weekend, sadly I have to go do the ironing. I have stamped some flowers on some card that I coloured with Distress Oxides (love them so much!) and fussy cut them. Off set and framed a layer with black card, mounted my flowers and die cut my 'happy' twice and glued together also a bit off set, stamped a 'birthday' and coloured with Tombow markers, added sequins to finish off.

Happy Birthday....Nostalgic Car

Hello Fellow Bloggers....I'm at my desk for a couple of hours of playing and the first card I was supposed to make was a 'Noel' card for our ABC challenge as we are up to N's but as you can see that's not what I made. I the latest colour combo from the DT at Fab Friday caught my eye and Sweet Stampin' have the theme 'Boys and their Toys' which got me thinking...so here is my Noel card....hehe....not! Season's Greetings...

Hi Stampers, I made this card this afternoon but have only now had time to post it. I'm really happy with this card...I got to use a new stamp set and a new embossing folder. For this card I have taken up the challenge from Merry Monday to use an animal and Sweet Stampin' want us to use a bird and the DT at CAS-ual Fridays want..in a word...check, check and check! I'm so happy to use my window die again too...I really like these window dies.Thanks for popping in, hopefully I will be back again tomorrow, until then happy stamping.
