May your holidays sparkle by Cathy N

Cathy here with a holiday card for you.

                                                               Stamps Used:

                                                          7718 bunny slippers

                                                          18947 medium snowflake

                                                          10659 may your holidays sparkle

I had no idea what I was going to make for today's blog post. I was going through all my VLVS and I came across bunny slippers and I immediately thought of a Christmas Story movie. Pink bunny slippers it was going to be.

I stamped them in pink ink and then colored them with pink copic markers. After that I cut out and set aside.

Next, I stamped the may your holidays sparkle saying on the front of the card. I then stamped the medium snowflake randomly over the background in black ink. I added sparkle to the middle for the snowflakes to make them pop.

I started off with some cream tags and I used some distress inks to make the background. Next, I edged them all with a dark brown distress ink.

After I got the backgrounds how I wanted them I stamped them with cross marks background in the same tan color. After that I stamped cross marks background.

Next, I stamped the fir trees silhouette on the one side of 2 of the tags and then the other side of 2 of the tags. Lastly, I stamped the medium snowflake in the light gray distress ink randomly over the tags.

Christmas gifttags by Cathy N

Good afternoon, Cathy here with some Christmas tags for you.

I had some leftover tags sitting on my table and I thought I would make some gift tags from them.

I started out with some distress inks and oxide to make the background. Dip and dry is how I did them.

Next, I took grunge writing background and some gray distress ink and stamped it randomly on the backgrounds of all the tags. I then edged all the tags with the same gray ink. Then I took  Large snowflake and Medium snowflake and stamped them on 5 of the tags wit black ink. For the last 2 tags I stamped the Christmas tree small on them.

I found some small Christmas saying I cut up and added to the bottom of each tag. They had a bit of red around the outside so I added some red ribbon to the top of each tag and the snowflakes got some red bling in the middle of them. I did add some glitter to the tress, but it is very hard to see.

                                                                 Stamps Used:

First winter card by Cathy N

Goodmorning, Cathy here with my first winter card of the season.

I started out with a half of a tag and some Lavinia dinkles. I used pine green that gave me some greens and blues.
I stamped Xmas silhouette collage on the bottom of the tag in black ink and then I used white ink and stamped medium snowflake on the top.
I then embossed blacked cardstock with a snowflake embossing folder. I rubbed the white ink pad over top to highlight the snowflakes. Next, I added that to a white card base.

Lastly, I took a strip of sliver glitter paper and added to the side and then added the tag I made and that is my card.
