Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi friends!  It's time again for another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  This time we're celebrating all things coffee, tea and cocoa with a spring theme.  It's no secret that I am a serious coffee (and tea and cocoa) lover and that I love these blog hops!  There's nothing better than spreading a little crafty coffee cheer throughout the year! I hope you'll play along and link up your own coffee creations for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from the Super Sponsors!
The hop starts today and runs through Friday, March 25 at 11:55 pm pacific. To be eligible for any of the sponsored prizes, you must link up a newly created spring themed coffee, tea &/or cocoa project over on the Spring Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog post. Easy peasy!

I truly LOVE to design coffee, tea, and cocoa sets.  I could probably illustrate coffee stamps all day every day and be happy{wink}! If you've hopped along with our coffee lovers hops before, you might recognize a few of the images and sentiments in our newest Coffee Helps set.  It includes designs from a couple of the limited edition digi sets we offered in the last two hops.  I felt they needed to come to life in stamp form, so here they are, along with a coordinating die set.

And we're giving them a way to one lucky commenter on this blog post!
Coffee HelpsCup for All Seasons Die Set

Just leave a comment here before 11:55 pm on Friday, March 25 to be entered to win
the Coffee Helps set and Cup for All Seasons Die Set.

For today's project, I made some easy peasy little k-cup holders with stamps and dies from our new release.  Don't you think these would make the perfect little thank you or party favor gifts?  To make them I started with a 8" x 1" strip of cardstock and scored at 1", 3", 5" and 7".  I cut two strips of 7/8" x 1-7/8" Perfectly Plaid designer paper to decorate either side.

My sentiment panel is cut with the stitched circle from Springtime Stitches Die Set, then matted on a sun die cut from the Partly Cloudy Die Set. I stamped the sentiment from Coffee Helps on the stitched circle and then layered with dimensionals. Next I stamped the flower to-go cup on white, colored with Copics in coordinating colors and then cut with the Cup for All Seasons Die Set.  So fun and easy I had to make 3 of them! {grin}

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful coffee (and tea and cocoa) lovin' kind of day!

Comment deadline for prize drawing is Sunday, March 13.
I've extended the comment deadline for all the March Spotlight Hops to Sunday
and will be posting winners on Monday, March 14.

First up in the spotlight today is a brand new set called Rise Above.
Another uplifting set, Rise Above has a beautiful distressed sun image with an open center perfect for accenting with the sentiments in this set. Many of the sentiments in our other releases will fit as well. A couple little clouds add character and you'll have fun encouraging others with the fun sentiments in this set.

The Partly Cloudy is the coordinating die set for Rise Above.  The clouds in this set are exact cuts (with no border around the stamped image).  The distressed sunshine has a very slight white border around the image when stamped.  For easy alignment with all our dies (especially ones with exact cuts), you can check out this video I did a while back.  Pro tip:  when lining up the distressed sun image with the die, look for the two or three rays that have a slight notch at the end of the ray for a reference for lining up the die.

Next up in the spotlight is the New Beginnings set.  This set of 12 images and sentiments is perfect for all your springtime projects.  The flowers are sweet by themselves or paired with the included stem stamps. The smaller sentiments in this set are perfectly framed by the stitched circle in the Springtime Stitches Die Set.

The Springtime Stitches Die Set is the coordinating die set for New Beginnings.  The two outlined flowers in this set are exact cuts  (with no border around the stamped image), making them perfect for piecing together and for masking techniques.  The flower image with a solid border around the inner flower has a very slight white border around the stamped image. The stitched circle is 1.5" and fits many of the sentiments in our release and also fits the center of the sunshine in Rise Above.  For easy alignment with all our dies (especially ones with exact cuts), you can check out this video I did a while back.

Okay, if you're still with me, the hop starts over on my blog, Poetic Artistry! Come say hello!
