And if you're just hearing about us, here's a little bit more about our latest release... One of my first crafter experiences was a tole painting workshop with my sister at a local craft store. We made some adorable little primitive style magnets of baby Jesus in a manger. Although the imagery was so simple, I loved the way they conveyed the true meaning of Christmas. So when I set out to design a set for this release, I knew I wanted baby Jesus to be front and center. The Weary World set was inspired by O Holy Night, one of my favorite Christmas hymns. This year, the lyrics, "a thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices" really struck a chord in my heart. By December, I think the world is a little weary (I know with 2.5 year old twins, I sure am), and I get a little chill just thinking about that thrill of hope that makes the weary world rejoice. My Christmas prayer is for everyone to know the thrill of hope and rejoicing that the Savior of the world has come to save us all. It seemed the perfect fit, and a well-loved verse to add to our plain jane collection. In the sample above, I've paired it with the candle image from Pinecone Christmas.
