November Diva Dare - Day 9

Hey everyone!

Welcome to Day 9 of the November Diva Dare! Chaitali here today for the Diva Dare.

This month's dare is entitled Vellum Visions.  Soft and classy, vellum always makes a big impression.  So, this month, we are daring you to add some vellum to your card or project. 

Here is my card with a vellum panel and an embossed gold sentiment!

I still had all the sets from the recent release on my craft table and ofcourse I'm on a Christmas cardmaking spree. So I used a stamp from each of the 3 new November sets. The sentiment is from Weary World, the poinsettia from Pinecone Christmas and the candles image from Light My World. I colored the poinsettia and candles with Copics then fussy cut them out. Fussy cutting is so relaxing! I missed it for the longest time! So glad I got to try it out on this card :) The sequins are from the recently released holiday sequin mix.

November Release Spotlight Hops Day 1

Okay, now that you know the who... it's time for the what.  Today's set reveal is the Light My World set illustrated by Chaitali Narla.

Here's a little bit about the set in her own words...
This set came about because I have many friends with different faiths and beliefs and its hard to make cards for them because there aren't that many stamps around for other faiths. I thought it'd be beautiful to show how everyone around the world uses light in their prayers one way or another! Included in the set are a Chinese lantern, an Indian/Hindu diya, a menorah and candles.

Light My World is a 4" x 8" set of  14 clear stamps and will retail for $18.

We've also got a new sequin mix releasing this week, just in time for your holiday card making!  It includes green, gold, and two shades of red slightly cupped shiny sequins in 2 versatile sizes.  

The Holiday Sequin Mix contains approximately 400 sequins and will retail for $3.
