This month we are daring you to share your favorite Verve creations for this year OR create a new one with one of your FAVORITE Verve products!

I am so happy Julee gave me the opportunity to join Verve as an illustrator this year. I've loved the chance to make my designs into stamps and even more, I loved all the wonderful creations everyone shared with the stamps!

So for my episode of this month's Diva Dare I decided to showcase some cards that were created with my sets because they really are my favorite Verve creations! None of these are made by me but I found them when lurking on the Verve Pinterest boards and I was so impressed by them! Also honored that they used my sets!!

Lets start the mini-parade, shall we? :)

Card 1 is Laurie Schmidlin's card using the Cupcakes set. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to copy her effortless layered style in secret! This one is a stunner!

Card 2 is Stacey Schafer's card using the Moments Remembered set. Love how she uses ribbons so beautifully on her cards. And the peacock feathers are so beautifully fussy cut!

Card 3 is Julee Tilman's card using the Pink Power set. Julee has a beautiful style that I liked to think of as layered CAS. Love this card that shows strength and softness so well!

So there you have it with my favorite Verve creations! Those sets are also my favorite sets :) Now on to some details for the Diva Dare!

September 2014 Diva Dare - Day 4

Terrific Trios - September Diva Dare

This month's dare is entitled Terrific Trios.  Back to school time usually means life is a 3 ring circus, so this month we're daring you to add 3 of something to your card or project. 

To keep things in line with the 3-ring circus spirit, I began my card with this visual in mind.  By the time I was done, I had put 5 or maybe even 6, depending on how literal you are, trio elements on my card.  Can you find them all?  For the theme of my card, I reached for the new Cupcakes set since the cupcake images are so cute and I haven't had the chance to show off this fabulous sentiment yet.  I hope you enjoyed my take on this month's dare and I can't wait to see how everyone else interprets this terrific theme!

Hopping along with us this week is a super talented Guest Diva!  I've been watching Monika work magic with stamps for several years now and am ecstatic to have her as our guest this  month.  Here's a little bit about her in her own words...

Hi, my name is Monika Davis aka buzsy. I live in beautiful New Hampshire with my two boys and supportive hubby. I work part time in the after-school program at my sons' school. I was born and raised in Hungary, but have been living in the US for 18 years. I’ve been stamping on and off for about 13 years. It’s my passion, my hobby, and my lifestyle! Through crafting I’ve made so many wonderful friends. It is a caring community with so much love and positive energy. I’ve been on a number of design and challenge teams, and have been published in a number of magazines. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the Verve Stamps team! 

Okay, now that you know the who... it's time for the what. 
Today's set reveal is the first in a One Word series from illustrator, Chaitali Narla.  

Cupcakes is a build-a-cupcake set illustrated by Chaitali Narla.  Along with builder pieces for super fun cupcakes, this set has several witty sentiments that begin or end with the word cupcakes.  Even better, there's more of this One Word line of stamps in store, which interchange wonderfully to give you tons of possibilities.  Cupcakes will retail for $18 and includes 20 clear photopolymer stamps on a 4" x 8" acetate sheet.

We've also got a fun new sequin mix releasing!
It's shiny and bright and filled with Vervey goodness in turquoise, brown, silver and white!

All of the products featured this week will be available for purchase in the Verve Store on Saturday, August 30.
