Happy Birthday Dave! GoPro card

I want to wish my husband a happy 46th Birthday xx  seen as he is enjoying his GoPro so much what else was there to make but a GoPro card. We love you loads and hope you have a great day and year xoxoxoox.  
To make this I used a card base of  5 and 1/2 x 4 and 1/2" or 14 x 11 cm folded. GoPro screen 1and 1/2 x 2" or 4 x 5 cm. The circles I used measured.... 3 and 1/4", 2 and 1/2", 1 and 3/4", 1 and 1/4" and a 1/2".
This is the GoPro without the outer case on which was a little easier to replicate. If you don't like the hand writing look do all your pieces on the printer, I was going for the home made look here so my hand writing was ok for what I needed. Its not the most perfect thing but I hope this might inspire you to make some of your own cards that suit the hobbies the guys in your life love. Doodle punch art Flower

Hi all, today I want to show you a very simple way to bring new life to an old punch!  My five petal flower punch was the first large punch I ever bought and has not come out much lately...... so why not add some doodling and give this punch a go again! So simple and easy to do, just hand cut a leaf and add your favorite saying. Enjoy my video tutorial.

Important notice about my instruction sets

Hi all, as you may or may not be aware Stampin up has discontinued their blossom petals punch which is such a shame!!! this was a very versatile punch. I'm afraid Stampin up is one of those company's Ive watched over the years that is constantly changing their stock which make you and the demonstrator buy buy buy all the time and they make the huge $$$. This has affected my instruction sales pretty bad, so Ive had to think what I would do with the many instructional sets I have for sale that included this punch....... leave them as they are, take them down off the blog or edit them. I still wanted to make them available for you so my decision was to edit & design a set of petals that are similar to the punch. These will be in a pdf called "Blossom petals punch info replacement petals template" and when you purchase an instruction set that required the blossom petals punch you will also receive the new free template download. I hope you will be happy with this decision. Below is a list of the instruction sets I have for sale that previously needed the blossom petals punch. So in a sense this works out cheaper for you! NO expensive punch is now needed to make these designs! The new templates are hand cut.... but don't be afraid of this its so easy..... below is my instructional video how to do this the easy way. Motorbike punch art

 Hi all, its good to get back in a have a play with some paper craft after making quite a few puppets! I finally finished 10 indigenous puppets all going to a school in Victoria, check them out over at my puppet blog, VR puppet builds .

So for a while now Ive had the idea of a part motorbike punch art and at last Ive put it together.
I used mainly circle punches for this one, card stock, black and white ink, sponge dauber, glitter, glue, foam dots, emboss folder called sun rays, washi tape flags and a stamp saying.... see below pic for details. Please keep reading.......

One thing I would like to mention is if you enjoy this and or my other projects don't take advantage of my designs free or for sale.....please link me back and give some credit. We should all do this to encourage each others talents or they just get lost out in cyberspace and no one knows who's made what. A lot of time and effort goes into making these and  truly this only take a few minuets to do a quick search as to who has made things. I have always done this! I have also had quiet a few stampin up demonstrators redo my designs on video and blogs and give no links or credits back, one even put instruction on her site which is one of my designs that's for sale here! she has never answered my emails. This is very disappointing and gives your company a bad name! just proves how cut throat and tramp over the paper craft business has become and the need to put up new ideas even if there NOT your own.... come on do the right thing guys! use some paper-craft etiquette.

Chloe Stem punch art

 

Hi all, I have loved the look of the Chloe stem die from memory box but at the same time I knew this would be so easy to make with my punches. So today lets give this a go!
For the Chloe stem in the video tutorial I used a 2 and 1/2" circle punch and two different size hole punches. The smaller flower head was made using a 1 and 3/4" circle punch. Some glue and glitter to match you card stock colour. Here's a close up....

For my card I sponged a cloud background, mounted the two flowers onto the same size circles I used to make them and had a bit of fun with some doodle drawing with a fine marker. I made a chevron stencil using my square punch and sponged some colours using the stencil. Stamped my saying and added a strip of ric rac trim. So sit back and enjoy the video :)

Birthday Orchid paper art

Hi all, welcome back to a new year!!! I hope and pray the Christmas/ New year season has been a blessing to you all with family and friends. Both Dave and I had also had our birthday's over this time so it's been great having family around us! We've enjoyed Christmas at my Mum and Dads place and some crazy hot weather and loads of swimming at the beach. The guys have had fun with their radio controlled cars and in the cooler parts of the day Madaleine and I have managed to do some some crocheting. Dave bought me a vintage Retro style stool which Ive had fun crocheting a cover for and the star blanket I made for our youngest daughter so she can reach for the stars in all she dose in life!! Our two older kids are enjoying being staff at summer camp these next few weeks before they return back to Uni and school starts again. A few pics for you to enjoy!

OK now to my Birthday Orchid! This is the 6th beautiful flower in my collection of punch art orchids. It was especially designed to include buds and create a complete flower spray for my Mothers 80th birthday on the 14 February 2013. Hi all, Beth came home yesterday!...... it is sooooo great to see her home safe from all her traveling. She had a beautiful glow about her and soon spilled out all the amazing things shed seen and done in Bali. We are so proud of the volunteer work she has done to help keep partying school leavers safe in Bali this year....all praise goes to the God of heaven for many answered prayers over that week alone. Such a nice feeling to know we are all under the one roof together for a little while, I'm gonna have fun clucking over all my kids.Thankfully my ear is feeling a little better..... still cant hear much...
Today's card inspiration came from a card id seen on the internet of a bird made with material and stitched on so I though this could work with punches! just some simple quick gift tags that look fun!
