HAPPY New Year 🎉

Happy 2026  🎉

We saw in the New Year quietly at home. The Beans gaming, husband watching TV and me catching up on some reading, until the fireworks in London were broadcast. It's been lovely to have a slow chilled day at home after a late night too. It was well after 1:30am before I finally got them to bed!

Good job I made this card a few days ago.

I did a similar layout of this card using the Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Christmas Blocks when I was at the show in Kent. So I fancied giving the OG Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Blocks the same treatment. I shared my original card HERE on Instagram.

I chose some brighter colours and kept to just 3, plus black for the sentiment which is a combo of Mid Century Modern Birthday and Christmas Sentiments.

I look forward to sharing more with you and have some exciting things planned here at Uniko. Wishing you all a wonderful, happy, healthy and creative year.

Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025 - Number 8

Happy FriYAY!

We're into the top 10 of Uniko's 25 Products of 2025. These have been determined by sales this year. Coming in at number 8 is the Stencil MOD Background Builder.

I knew this had been popular this year, but not top 10 popular! It's great to see another Mid Century Modern design in the top 25 though. Just shows how much everyone loves the collection as much as I do.

As it's Friday I thought I would do a Flashback Friday and have a look at some of my favourites using this stencil.

First up is this card, which is actually this week's Card Of The Week. Until Monday 22nd December all the products used to make this card are 15% off.

Next is one where I have paired the stencil with Flower Power #3. I wanted to show that it looks lovely with this collection of stamps as well as the Mid Century Modern ones.

Next up is a bright and cheerful card using the larger trio of leaves to create a background. I did a little bit of masking to add the an extra leaf to make the flowers and the trio as leaves. You really can have fun with this stencil.

This card was made during my Zentangle obsession! I was tangling everything I could think of and this one is one of my faves.

My last card today was a little bit of a labour of love and took some masking to achieve this all over multi coloured pattern. Was worth it though.

And these are just a handful of ideas made using this stencil. For a one layer stencil it really packs a punch and I'll definitely be inking it up again soon!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Watch it Wednesday

Happy Wednesday.

Let’s Get Inky!

The sunshine ☀️ is out & I felt like inking up the Stencil - Layering Organic Blooms 🌸

This stencil has a wonderful retro Scandinavian feel to it and is drawn in my organic style, making it perfect to pair with the Organic Blooms clear stamps and others from the Organic Collection.

As you will see in the warp speed video over HERE on the Uniko YouTube Channel, the stencil contains 4 layers. They are easy to line up & ink through with blending brushes.

Tip - apply a little removable adhesive to the reverse of the first layer, the leaf tendrils are quite flimsy to get this beautiful flowing leaf design.

I chose Concord & 9th inks in Parsley, Pink Lemonade, Carnation, Buttercup & Marmalade. Don’t do what I did & be sure to make sure your flower stencil is clean before using a light pink 🥴😂

And here is how I used the stencilled panel...

One thing I'm trying to do this year is use my stash, such as stand alone dies I've had for ages and of which rarely see card action. I chose this old MFT (I think) stitched curvy border die as I felt it matched the flow of the leaves on this stencil design.

I adhered the die cut panel using foam adhesive and then chose the Smile sentiment from Organic Blooms, which I fussy cut and adhered using foam tape. To finish I added some Cobblestone enamel dots.

That's all from me today, I hope the sun has been out for you today.

Floral Friday 🌼

Hello & Happy Friday 😃

I've had the rainbow colours out again today while I was working on some inspiration coming soon 😉 so I couldn't resist putting them to work with the Stencil - Pure Florals Chrysanthemum, which came back in stock recently.

I thought that this cheerful card would be wonderful as a Get Well Card, so I added the sentiment from Everyday Sentiments to a strip of paper and adhered it using foam tape. I finished off with a trio of white enamel dots.

A couple of bits of news in case you missed it, I have a new video up on the Uniko YouTube Channel.

AND there are only a few hours left of the End Of Summer SALE, so be sure to take advantage of these FAB bargains.

That's all I have for today, I hope to pop in with more inspiration over the weekend 🤞🏻

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Beautiful Butterflies

Morning all,

Happy to be here today with some Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration and I am absolutely in love with these combinations of Uniko stencils and gorgeous Uniko stamps.

Here I have used the inner stencil from the Uniko English Country Garden Butterflies stencil bundle. I have ink blended around the outside using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. Once dry I stamped the Uniko Pure Florals: Peony and a sentiment from Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set using black ink. Finally I added some Nuvo drops.

My next card uses the outer stencil from the Uniko English Country Garden Butterflies stencil bundle, this time using Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks. Again I have used the Uniko Pure Florals: Peony stamp and the sentiment is from the Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set. Again I have used some Nuvo drops to add interest to the right hand side of the butterfly.

For my final card I have used the inner stencil from the Uniko Tropical Leaf #2 stencil set and ink blended with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide. To keep the Butterfly theme I used the Uniko English Country Garden - Butterflies stamp set and again the Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set for the sentiment.

I hope this has inspired you to grab the stencils and get inky.

Much love
Steph x

Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 6

Happy Boxing Day!

I hope you have all had a wonderful festive period, I've enjoyed a slower day today with less cooking! Plus I squeezed in a little creative time too.

I am here continuing with Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023. Today we have the 6th most purchased clear stamp set and it might be no surprise, it is another Mid Century Modern clear stamp set, Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day.

Being a cat lover, I was pleased to see this beauty make it into the Top 10. It was nice to give it some fresh inky love. I know it is currently out of stock, but rest assured, it will be back in stock early 2024.

Let's have a look at my card today...

It's been a good while since I used the Stencil - Mid Century Modern Shapes, so I decided to pair it with the cat. I used some softer shades of Aqua Sky and Grapefruit to ink the shapes and Cobblestone to stamp the bursts from Mid Century Modern Baubles

I used the outline cat and coloured with a dark grey Copic marker, I added some fun green eyes and a sentiment from Bauhaus Blocks. Finally I finished with some Sorbet enamel dots.

Thanks for joining me again today.

Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 10

Hello & Happy Festive Friday 🎄

Apologies for being quiet round here this week, I have been gifted with an early Christmas sinus cold 🥴 and I've been resting amongst finishing last minute Christmas preparations. Hopefully I am over the worst and on the road to recovery, ready for 🎅🏻

So while I've been resting, my brain hasn't and I thought it would be fun to see out 2023 with a little feature, Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023.

I'm here today to kick things off. Coming in at the 10th most popular product of 2023 is, Stencil - MOD Background Builder.

This stencil joined us in October/November 2022 and was the first to feature this fun background building feature as well as providing an instant focal point.

Even though there is an abundance of inspiration using this stencil, there is always room for more, so I squeezed in a little creative time to make this...

I set about a long task with a lot of masking to ink this in these beautiful Concord & 9th colours! But I think it was worth it as the result is so cheerful.

Next was to decide on a sentiment and as I had Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder at hand I decided upon Happy Wishes.

Thank you for stopping by & enjoy the inspiration during this often busy period. Remember it's okay to take time for you.

Merry Monday - Rainbow Snowflakes

Hello & Happy Monday.

I originally planned to make & share these yesterday, but I decided to enjoy more family time and simply ran out of day. So here I am, later than planned. But at least I have a trio of pretty rainbow snowflakes to share with you.

Restocks always inspire creativity and with the Stencil - Let it Snow arriving back in stock on Saturday, I was inspired to ink up one of the largest snowflakes from the stencil in a rainbow of colours. I then added Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the top. My sentiment choice is from Christmas Sentiments.

This then led me to use the Stencil - Large Snowflake Two which is a supersized version of the first snowflake.

I repeated the same process using a rainbow of ink colours through the stencil and then used the same Moonstone Glimmer Paste. The sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.

And this led to my third card.

This time I used the stencil mask. This was a little more tricky, more so to add the paste over the top. I don't think I have pasted such a large flat area. And although it has a few little kinks to it, I think it turned out well.

That's all I have to share today, but there is LOTS more inspiration coming this week. Along with Uniko's version of Black Friday! Be sure to sign up to our newsletter via the website homepage HERE to be the first to know.
