Brand ambassador inspiration : Big and bold wish

Hi there!

Hannelie here with some inspiration focusing on Big & bold wish stamp set and Designer dies : big & bold - wish collection .

I combined the Big and Bold :Wish stamp set and designer dies with Background blocks : stars .

The sentiment phrases in the set really make it so versatile! You can use it with the birthday candles in the set to create a birthday card, or with the reference to stars, you can create a wish-inspired card by combining it with star images or embellishments like I did on today's card !

I stamped the star background on a piece of card stock and layered it on black card stock showing off a small border.

I used gold glitter paper to die cut the sentiment and layered it on a black shadow. The die cut 'wish' was popped up with foam dots for dimension. I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the 'upon a star'' and adhered it on the large die cut sentiment.

I finally added the 3 large golden flat back embellishments.

I love combining different sets to create different themed cards!

Thanks for popping in to take a look at my card :)

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday and wonderful week !

Hannelie

Brand Ambassador - Reach for the Stars

Hello,

Carol here, warmly welcoming you to my Brand Ambassador post where I'm sharing two cards to showcase Reach for the Stars. The combination of images and sentiments in this set span a variety of occasions - birthdays, encouragement, friendship - when used on their own. Pair them with other sets and watch the possibilities multiply!

Using the same palette for both cards, I've created one as a shaker (made ever so easy using 'star pouches'), filled with a Studio Katia blend of sequins,

and one to express gratitude.  Here, the swirl of stars was stamped several times, then cut using star shapes in my collection and popped up for dimension (a 'must' when I make cards). A sprinkling of one of the smaller stamps added a bit of background.

Hope my cards brought you a smile and some inspiration!

Cure for the Monday Blues - Pattern Tastic!

Hey!

I think I'm back in the creative groove, it's been a while since I dedicated a block of a few hours to sit and create and I've missed it! I've been working hard creating samples to share with you for the ever approaching February Release and also creating projects for the two classes on Saturday at The Paperlane. There is one space left in each class see the Classes & Demo page HERE for the details.

Anyway, I found a little time to squeeze in a card for the newest challenge in town called Cure for the Monday Blues & hosted by the awesomely talented & very creative DT member Taheerah. Be sure to stop by Taheerah's BLOG for all the details.

This week the inspiration is THIS pattern tastic inspiration photo...

Now I couldn't resist joining in with this one! I instantly reached for my loved but neglected Background Builders: Chevrons set to start this card stamping it repeatedly in black ink onto a rectangle of white CS. I then used my Spica at you pens to add a splash of colour.

Before adhering the rectangle on an angle to the base card I stamped the base card with the grunge circles from Background Builders: Round In Circles and added a die cut star stamped with a sneaky peek of a new set coming your way very soon!

Ok, that's all from me today, there is much inking & stamping to be done! Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by today :)

Christmas + Chalkboard = LOVE

Hey!

WOW! What a release that was, I hope it was worth the wait & you all enjoyed the blog hop yesterday. If you missed it you can catch up HERE as there is still time to comment to be in the chance of winning the ENTIRE release!

I'm back today to share my version of a Christmas chalkboard inspired card...

Chalkboard is a trend thats been popping up in blog land for a while and I've been wanting to jump on the band wagon have a go! I was also inspired by Taheerah's card HERE which she shared during the countdown to release.

On my card I have used ALL five of the stamp sets released yesterday. I was a little unhappy with the lines to separate each section as my white gel pen decided it wasn't going to play nice and so I used a white pencil instead. This didn't give as sharp a white like the embossing powder has but when I used my finger to rub a little white pigment ink over the whole piece and also swiped the edges along the ink pad to frame it the design the muted white lines work a little better.

Thank you to everyone who joined in with the release fun, commented & shopped yesterday, your support & custom here at Uniko Studio is truly appreciated. That's all from me today, I'll be back tomorrow with more to share using the new release products. Thanks for stopping by today :)
