Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025 - Number 9

Happy Wonderful Wednesday.

We're into the top 10 of Uniko's 25 Products of 2025. These have been determined by sales this year. Coming in at number 9 is Mid Century Modern Florals

It warms my heart to see this stamp set in the top 25, let alone the top 10. Especially when this stamp set originally debuted in May 2019!

Here are a few of my favourite makes using this set.

And today I have shared a quick YouTube short HERE showing how I stamped six floral ideas using this stamp set.

Along with flowers, this stamp set has so much more potential with the fun graphic shapes. It's just a case of letting your creativity take control.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Mid Century Modern Monday

Good morning all,

Steph with you today.

If you were present for our release at the beginning of August, you will be familiar with the Uniko Background Builders Mid Century Modern stamp set. I had a really great time playing with this set so I wanted to use it some more for my Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration post this month. I love background builder sets as there are so many different combinations, layouts, colours etc...to play with.

For my first card I simply stamped the line stamps three times down the card and infilled with the stamps as shown. To this I added a sentiment strip stamped using a sentiment from the Uniko Bauhaus Blocks stamp set.

On my next card I wanted to use the stepped line so I stamped this four times and selected the various semi circles to stamp over the top. I have used chalk ink on all these cards (I'm a bit obsessed with it at them moment!) which gives a nice translucent effect. The sentiment is a mix of stamps from Uniko Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder and Uniko Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments stamp sets.

My final card is inspired by a search of Mid Century Modern Pattern and I absolutely love how it turned out! I have used a couple of other stamp sets to create the background. these being Uniko Mid Century Modern Florals and Uniko Mid Century Modern Birthday stamp sets.

Well I hope you have enjoyed this Mid Century Modern showcase as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Now it's over to you to show us what you create with your new stamp set. Don't forget to show us over on the Uniko VIP Facebook page.

Much love

A Very Merry Mid Century Modern Monday Part 1 and 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 6

Happy Merry Mid Century Monday!

I had this idea in my head to use Mid Century Modern Florals and make a festive wreath. I do love a wreath on a Christmas card, and although there is Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder, I always like to stretch my non Christmas stamps.

This is what I came up with.

I love this off centre look and I've done it a few times with wreaths, I think it adds impact. Anyway, I started by drawing a circle with a pencil as a guide to stamp the leaves.

I used the larger pair from the stamp set, first stamping in Parsley and then again in Evergreen to fill in the gaps.

Usually I would go for evenly spaced leaves, but I stamped with a block and like how it is quirky and uneven. I think this adds to the Mid Century Modern look.

To finish the card I added a sentiment and bow from Mid Century Modern Baubles and some Cranberry enamel dots. The Cranberry card bases ties in the reds and makes the wreath pop a little more.

When I had finished and photographed the card, I thought about how I should have used the smaller pair of leaves to stamp one of the shades of green. So I went ahead and made a second card.

This time I went for a more central wreath. Again I started with the larger pair of leaves, stamping them in Evergreen ink. I then used the smaller pair, stamping in Parsley and again in Sprout to create more depth and fill in the gaps.

As you can see I stamped a different sentiment outside of the wreath and balanced the design with the same bow on the upper diagonal. A trio of enamel dots finished the design, along with a Cranberry card base again.

Now I have made both I can't decide which I prefer 😂 I'd love to know your favourite.

Before I go, the giveaway, be sure to leave a comment by 31st July 2025 for your chance to win both these stamp sets I've used on this card If you are the lucky winner picked randomly from comments left across Uniko’s social media and already own the products, an alternative will be offered.

Winners will be announced first week of August 2025.

Uniko Birthday Inspiration Through The Years - Part 3

Happy Friday.

Welcome to day 7 of the Uniko 13th Birthday Celebrations and part 3 of my Inspiration Through The Years. If you missed part 1 and part 2 you can catch up HERE and HERE.

Today I am sharing three cards using a product from 2018, 2019 and 2020. I've then made a new card inspired by the original.

Let's have a look.

First up is Kindness Blooms, which released in February 2018. I remember making this card and I loved creating the polka dot background and the fussy partial cutting.

So for my updated card I decided to do something similar.

I started by stamping the trio of large loopy blooms along the edge of my card, once the ink was dry I cut along to create this fun edge.

I then set to using the small circle/dot stamp to create the multicoloured polka dot background on my base card. The loopy flower layer is adhered using foam tape.

My sentiment choice is from Birthday Sentiments, which was released the same month. I think I love this fresh take on my original card.

Next up is 2019 and the year Uniko's most popular, ever growing and still highly sort after collection was released, the one and only Mid Century Modern Collection.

Two of the first 4 products released in May 2019 were Mid Century Modern Florals and Background Blocks Mid Century Modern, which I decided upon to use on my card today.

I don't think I will ever tire using this collection! There are so many creative options and colour combinations. I started by using the Mid Century Modern background, stamping it in Pebble ink.

I then added some 'flowers' stamped in Harbor, Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Buttercup and Sprout. My sentiment is from Birthday Wishes which also debuted in the same release.

Lastly for today is another super popular collection that was released in February 2020, my take on Art Deco.

This collection features Anniversarie Arts Decoratifs, Background Blocks Arts Decoratifs and Background Builders Arts Decoratifs. Since this original release I have added a Christmas version of the background block and I am always thinking of more to add!

Here's how I used the collection today...

I went for the clean and simple look today, using 3 of the background builder patterns to create a focal point. I then added some colour and a sentiment from the collection. A little bit of bling finished my card off.

I know the Background Builders is currently out of stock, it'll be back soon!

That's all from me today. I hope that you have enjoyed the inspiration today and this little look back at Uniko's past. I will have more to share in this mini series throughout the month.

Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 1

Happy New Years Eve.

I know that some of you down under have already entered 2024, but here in the UK we still have a few hours to go. Anyway, I'm here on this last evening of 2023 to share the product that topped them all, that was the most purchased product.

Insert drumroll...

Yep, Background Blocks Linear, this simple background was the most purchased product this year. And it delights me that so many of you love it as much as I do.

Here's what I made using it today...

With Mid Century Modern Florals already out on my desk, I decided to use them with the background to make this cute Happy New Year card.

I started with heat embossing the background in white onto kraft card. I then stamped the flowers in Grapefruit, Sorbet and Aqua Sky, again colours still on my desk! I then stamped the single leaf type petal from Mid Century Modern Florals to create these fun leaves in this lovely Parsley green. My chosen sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.

So what do you think of this being the number one product? Thank you for joining me for this fun countdown to the New Year.

Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 2

Happy New Years Eve Eve!

I'm back today this cold wet Saturday to share number 2 of Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 most purchased products. It makes my heart happy to see the Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Blocks in the top 10. I was half expecting it to be number 1, but it was pipped at the post. You'll have to wait for tomorrow though to see which product topped it.

I'm biased, but this product is one of my faves and I enjoy creating with it. Here's what I made today...

I am inspired to incorporate peach into my colour schemes at the moment with it being Pantone colour of 2024. So today I paired Grapefruit with Aqua Sky and Pebble.

I masked off the top and bottom of my card panel, as well as the top and bottom squares of the stencils to have just the middle section. I then inked it to create a band across my card.

I then used the Thank You sentiment from Everyday Sentiments and then decided to add a flower from Mid Century Modern Florals.

Thanks for joining me again today.

Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 9

Happy Weekend!

I'm back again today with Uniko's Customer Top 10 of 2023 - Number 9. If you missed what it's all about, then check my post HERE from yesterday.

Today we continue the Mid Century Modern theme with Mid Century Modern Florals. I was surprised to see this clear stamp set in the top 10 as it has been out since April/May 2019. But clearly remains an on trend and popular set.

I know I am biased, but this set still remains a favourite of mine and I enjoyed stretching this set to create Christmas cards, which I shared HERE. Giving this set even more creative possibilities.

This is what I decided to create for today...

The weather has been quite dull and dark here, so I decided to go for a pop of rainbow for the flowers. Instead of adding a sentiment, I decided to add the stem and flowers to fill the gap.

The flowers are adhered using foam tape and I added a little drop of white Nuvo drops to the centres. I then adhere the panel to my base card using foam adhesive.

Thank you for stopping by & enjoy the inspiration during this often busy period. Remember it's okay to take time for you.

Merry Monday BA Inspiration with Mid Century Modern Baubles

Bonjour !

Izzy here. Today I'm back with a new Christmas card. This time I used the beautiful Mid Century Modern Baubles set from the last release to make my card.

This baubles set is a beautiful addition to the Mid Century Modern (MCM) collection so I wanted to show you how I got inspired with this set combining it with other sets of the MCM series.

For my first card, at the beginning I had the design in mind but I didn't know which colours to use and it naturally came to use Uniko's colours.

So I simply stamped the baubles on three different coloured card stock. I used some of the little stamps from the set to decorate them, and I used one of the Mid Century Modern Frames to stamp the sentiment. I fussy cut the baubles and I glued them on a slimline card.

I kept on with a slimline design for my second card, but this time I used the Mid Century Modern Florals to decorate the baubles.

I simply stamped the baubles on a white card stock and I used some elements of the Mid Century Modern Florals with Distress Oxide inks to add some colours.
I stamped the sentiment and I glued the panel on a black slimline card. Done !

Before leaving, I remind you that the July/August Release sellouts are back in stock !

That's all for me today but I will come back next Monday with other Christmas cards. Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.
