January 2025 Release - Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem AND Sparkle Sentiments Clear Stamp Set

Happy New Year!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Uniko January 2025 Release product introductions. Today we are ringing in the New Year with bling!

I am so excited to be starting the New Year with new products and I chose these two products, Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem AND Sparkle Sentiments today as I think they can be used for New Year cards and of course, so many more occasions.

A while ago I was asked by the editor of Simply Cards & Papercrafts magazine if I had any new Ink & Flip Stencil designs in the works. And this was one of them and while I was planning my cards for the feature in the magazine (available later this week in the shops), I felt it needed some accompanying sentiments. This inspired the Sparkle Sentiments clear stamp set.

Enough talk, let's have a look at these in action...

 Anita

I hope you love this stencil as much as I do AND as it is New Year's Day, I'll be giving one set of the stencils away to one lucky comment left on any of the blog posts & or across Uniko's social media posts to win this stencil set.

Happy hopping & see you in 2025!

June 2024 Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Happy Weekend & HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY.

I'm so glad you have stopped by the blog today as today is the day ALL the products myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have been showcasing this week are now available HERE on the BRAND NEW Uniko website.

Yes, that's correct!

The long awaited and much anticipated fresh Uniko website is finally here. It's been a learning curve for me as we've transferred over to a new and more efficient platform, unfortunately it wasn't possible to transfer account details over, my apologies for that. If you've already been over and registered an account on the new site this week, thank you.

I am still working on adding some of the pretty details and fancy features. The focus has been on functionality and accessibility. I will keep you informed of new features as and when they are added.

Last little bit of website news, I will have access to the old platform for one more week. If you require a screenshot of your purchase history, drop me an email and I can do that for you. This is the only information I am able to access before the website is gone forever.

Ok, now let's get to the FUN and formally introduce the new products.

First up we have the next stencil in the Ink & Flip line up. This time I have gone for a geometric hexagon and again I have gone for the two layer option giving more creative possibilities.

Next up we have a BEEautiful addition to the Flower Power Collection. I can't wait to see all the mix and matches with the previously released Flower Power sets.

As you can see this stamp set features two hexagon flowers that can be used on their own, but they can be layered up too. There is a little bitty bee that is the same, but smaller version than the one in Bee Happy. You get the usual stem and leaves with a fun hexagon in fill and this can be die cut using the same leaf and stem die from the Designer Dies Flower Power 1 - 6 Collection. There are 2 separate leaves and 4 sentiment options.

As the font is the same as all the other Flower Power clear stamp sets there will be lots more sentiment options to Buzz By and Say!

 Flower Power #9 £6.50

Next we have a fun addition to the Background Blocks Collection. Another FUN stripe design and one that has lots of creative possibilities. I can't wait to see what you all do with this one!

Lastly, but by no means least we have a fun Mid Century Modern inspired addition to the Flower Power Collection. In this I have added two different kinds of single leaves and the sentiments are all bloom inspired.

Now I have formally introduced the newness, let's have a look at some more inspiration using them...

Two Ways With Background Builders Round In Circles

Happy Weekend.

And Happy Bank Holiday weekend to those in the UK, I hope some of you are enjoying some sunshine, it's been rather grey, wet and dismal here in the North East 😒 Though, at least I feel like I've not missed it with being poorly (again). Seriously, my immune system is rubbish and even more so when the boys bring the bugs home from school, hence my quietness this week.

Anyway, I'm slowly getting better after lots of rest and sleep. I actually found some energy to finish these two cards I started a few days ago.

I've said it so many times, but restocks always inspire me to create, especially when they've been out of stock for a while like Background Builders: Round In Circles.

Do you ever have moments where you think your creativity might run out? That you'll be unable to think of something 'new' to create using a much loved stamp set, stencil or die? I do, quite often, but then I end up surprising myself like I did with this duo!

I started by using the open dot builder strip to stamp the background. I then crazily spent ages colouring the dots in a rainbow of colours! It was super time consuming, but I think the end result was worth it.

I then die cut the 3 circles before adhering to my Pebble base card, stamping the circle designs inside and adding the sentiment from Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments

With the background taking so long, I couldn't let the die cut circles go to waste, so I created a second card using them.

I placed the die cuts exactly onto my card base as they were die cut from my first card by using the above panel as a template before I adhered it onto my first card.

I love many things about clear stamps, one of those things is the ability to shape the longer stamps. Just like I did with this one. Again I added a sentiment from the Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments.

I'm delighted this clear stamp set, along with a whole host of others are back in stock. Though a few of Uniko's newer and most popular designs have sold out already at the shows! Restocks shouldn't be too long.

Anyway, that's all I have today.

October 2023 NEW Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Hello, Happy Saturday, Happy World Card Making Day AND Happy New Release Day!

Wow! Could the weekend be any better?

I hope you have enjoyed my introductions this week and I'm super excited to share these new products with you. They will be available to purchase at 9pm BST tonight HERE on the website.

But, let me first formally introduce them.

First we have the next addition to the BIG & BOLD series with BIG & BOLD thank/s/ful. This set is super versatile, making two large sentiments. But you can make a third when you pair it with BIG & BOLD You.

The set also features a two step leaf in both solid and outline form along with a variety of accent sentiments.

Next we have Autumn Serenade.

The large swirling stamp has been calling for this autumnal look for a while now and linking it to BIG & BOLD thank/s/ful with the same leaf image makes it even more versatile. Like other clear stamp sets in the Serenade series, it features mix and match sentiments, along with lots of fun accent stamps.

Keeping with an autumnal seasonal feel and upcoming Armistice Day I am delighted to add Uniko's version of poppies to the floral line up. Though it has lots more creative potential.

Remembrance £11

Lastly, but by no means least we have the next addition to the Framed Series with Framed - Snowflakes. It was time to add more snowflakes to the Uniko line up and I think this makes the perfect addition.

Introducing... Framed - Snowflakes

Welcome to Day 4 and the final day of the product introductions for our October Release.

Today I am introducing a new addition to our Framed Series and hopefully a clear stamp set that fills a snowflake gap in the Uniko clear stamp line up!

Just like the other sets in the Framed Series, this clear stamp set features a main frame stamp filled with new pretty snowflakes with a gap left for your chosen sentiment. There are also 4 individual snowflake stamps perfect for adding details and creating your own beautiful backgrounds.

For my first card today I started with an Aqua Sky card panel. I then used Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet to create a spotlight effect for my sentiment. After my ink blending was dry, I left it overnight, but you could heat set. I then went to stamping the frame in VersaMark ink and heat embossing in white.

I then stamped my sentiment from Most Wonderful before fussy cutting the frame out before adhering to my white card base with double sided tape. I also stamped a trio of individual snowflakes, heat embossed and fussy cut them to adhering with foam adhesive.

For my second card today I wanted to feature the individual snowflakes for a clean & simple design. I started by masking off a section on my base card and then ink blended Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet.

I then stamped the snowflakes and my chosen sentiment from Stunning Snowflakes in Nocturne ink & heat embossed with Stardust embossing powder. Simple, but with lots of sparkle!

That's all I have to share just now, but I will be back this afternoon with more to share & this weeks instalment of our 12 Days of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways! I do hope you will pop back then to see what I am making and watch my video to find out about this weeks prize.

If you missed Day 1, Day 2 and day 3 product introductions, you can catch up HEREHERE and HERE. So that's all the introductions, which means tomorrow is release day. They will be available 9pm BST and we will have our usual Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway at 9am BST here on the blog.

Introducing... Remembrance

Welcome to Day 3 of the product introductions for our October Release.

Today I am introducing a new floral and one I have had a few requests for. I'm please how this turned out and I am hoping you will love it as much as I do. So I am now super pleased to introduce you to Remembrance.

This clear stamp set features two individual poppy flowers and two sentiment options, perfect for Armistice Day in November as well as sympathy cards. But really I think poppies can be used all year round and for all occasions.

I kept my first card clean & simple stamping one of the poppies on a white panel and colouring simply with Stampin' Blends. I then adhered the panel with foam adhesive. I used one of the sentiments along the edge of the raised panels.

My second card today is another that the lucky people who attended my make & take made at Crafterama Lincoln on Sunday.

I was inspired by a technique Alumni Brand Ambassador Hannelie used HERE. It's a fab idea when you want to add colour, but don't have the patience to colour!

I used the Stencil - Scattered Polka Hearts and a trio of Altenew inks to create this Bokeh effect. I could have been a little softer with the inking, so that the poppy stood out a little more. But still I am pleased with how it turned out.

That's all I have today using this set, but I know you'll be seeing more of it soon! If you missed Day 1 and Day 2 product introductions, you can catch up HERE and HERE. I will be back tomorrow with one more  introduction. This clear stamp set, along with all the products being introduced this week will be available 9pm GMT Saturday 7th October 2023.

Introducing... Autumn Serenade

Welcome to Day 2 of the product introductions for our October Release.

Today I am introducing a new addition to our Serenade series with Autumn Serenade. I definitely think there is a place for more leaves & foliage in the Uniko line up. And you might notice the cross over with the leaf design from BIG & BOLD thank/s/ful which I introduced HERE yesterday.

Let's have a look at this set in action...

If you were in Lincoln at the weekend and took part in the make & take, you got to play with this new set and make this card. A simple ink blended rectangle using Distress Oxide Ink in Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain from top to bottom.

I then removed the mask to stamp the falling leaf image. I wanted to keep the colour soft and rustic, so I used VersaFine Clair in Morning Mist. The sentiment from the set I wanted a little more prominent and so I stamped in VersaFine Nocturne ink.

For my second card today I wanted to highlight some of the smaller stamps in the set to create this clean & simple design.

I added in a few more green tones for the leaves, using Concord & 9th Avocado, Evergreen and Parsley, mixed with Stardust and Wheat.

I then stamped the Autumn Blessings over the leaf cluster. Super simple, but I am pleased how this turned out.

That's all I have for today, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share. This clear stamp set, along with all the products being introduced this week will be available 9pm GMT Saturday 7th October 2023.

Introducing... BIG & BOLD Thank/s/ful

Welcome to Day 1 of the product introductions for our October Release.

Today I am introducing a new and long awaited addition to our BIG & BOLD series, BIG & BOLD Thank/s/ful. When I am designing new products, one of my aims along with value is versatility. More bang for your buck as the saying goes.

So this is what I have hopefully achieved with todays clear stamp set. As you will see by the name it its thank/s/ful, that's because I have created separate stamps for the thank, the 's' and the 'ful'. This way you can easily stamp a different sentiment suited for the occasion you are making for.

I think my cards today demonstrate this...

For my first card I really stepped out of my colour comfort zone for this autumnal 'thanks' card! You know them moments after you've made something and then you are not sure about sharing it. This is how I feel about this card!

Anyway, here it is. I used Concord & 9th inks in Nutmeg, Wheat, Stardust, Sunflower and Spiced Cider. Stamping from bottom to top using my stamping platform. I started with the thanks section of the sentiment and then repeating with the 's'. Using a stamping platform definitely made this easier.

To finish the card I added the thanks panel to a Spiced Cider card base and added the 'so much' sentiment and a trio of falling leaves also from the set.

My second card today I kept an early autumnal colour scheme, this time adding in some greens...

This time I joined the thank with the ful for thankful and created a slimline card, overall size 10.5 x 20cm. I then set the sentiment aside to dry before fussy cutting it out.

My background is stamped using the leaf stamp options, solid and outline. The vein detail comes as a separate stamp too. This time I used Parsley and Avocado along with Cayenne and Stardust.

There is one more sentiment combination, I'll be sharing that on release day! Thank you for stopping by today & I'd love to know your initial thoughts about this stamp set.

This clear stamp set, along with all the products being introduced this week will be available 9pm GMT Saturday 7th October 2023.
