A bit of Extra Time ...

Hey!

So I found a little bit of Extra Time to play with the Extra Time stamp set! Continuing the theme from yesterday I am taking each stamp set available from Uniko Studio and creating some NEW projects using them whilst also looking back at projects I made when they were first released!

So, we're using Extra Time ...

This set was created as an additions set, but it has a LOT of potential just using it on it's own. It contains a yummy clocking in card which is a perfect journalling card size. It also contains more clock faces and an assortment of sentiments.

How about a card for the girls? Girls you say...with this set..? Yep, you can girly this up quite easily with a limited amount of accessories and the right colour choice ...

I started out with a piece  of Fine Linen card stock & stamped the clocking in card over it with Fine Linen ink. I then die cut the scallop circle so it hung slightly off the edge. I then used some removable adhesive to hold it in place on the base card while I stamped the clock face inside. Before adhering the fine linen layer to the card with foam adhesive I wrapped around some Calypso Coral bakers twine & tied a bow. A die cut flower & small banner sentiment embellished with rhinestones finished the card of nicely!

Next up is a CAS card for the boys ...

My guy doesn't like a lot of fuss so I often keep this in mind when creating cards for men. I kept it simple by using one shade of green and a neutral white. I even kept the clock faces fuss free without any hands! I like the simplicity!

How about a couple of cards from when this set was released back in February ...

I want to mention one more product available from Uniko Studio which coordinates with todays Extra Time stamp set & Time from yesterday...

This digital paper collection features images from both the Time & Extra Time sets. It is a great addition  to have and provides even more possibilities when using your stamps...

This is a new card I created using a couple of the papers from the set paired with stamps from Extra Time. It's not my usual style and has a bit too much going on with pattern and colour mixing, but it's good to step outside of your comfort zone once in a while...right?!

Here are a couple of cards using the papers when I first released them...

Hopefully I have inspired you a little bit more with this set & shown you that you can girly up a masculine set with a few graphic flowers, selected embellishments and colours! Plus a few more ideas for those often hard to make for men in our lives?!

All the products shown today are available from the website HERE! Thanks for stopping by today.

More to life ...

Hey!

As the saying begins 'There's more to life than ...' so it is when it comes to Uniko Studio products! With all the hype and excitement over the last weekend and few days here at Uniko Studio with Super FREE Saturday and with the September release just around the corner, I thought it would be nice to do a recap on all the products available from Uniko Studio.

Don't worry I'm not going to cram it all into one blog post! I thought I'd spend the day's up until the Sneak Peeks start focusing on a product or two that are already available on the website. As much as I LOVE new stash it's always good to look back at what you've got & how you can use it differently.

I also thought it would be nice for the NEW followers here at Uniko Studio to see what products are available. So without further ado I thought I start in release order and begin with ...

Today, Tomorrow & Always TIME was one of the first clear stamp sets to be released from Uniko Studio back in February. When I designed this set back in 2011 while still at University I wanted a set that would cater for the men in our lives but wanted to have a feminine feel too and even though I do say so myself this set is perfect for both girls and boys.

Here are a few NEW examples of how this set can be used...

My first card shows the feminine side of this set, using the bold graphic flower contained in the set in all 3 sizes in a cheerful colour combination paired with a 'timless' sentiment. I used the current Clean & Simple sketch for the layout for my card seen HERE and below. I think the flowers are perfect for this layout!

The photo below shows the techniques of masking and layering I've used on the card ...

How about a card for the boys ...

Using the current Retro Sketch HERE and my go to masculine colour combo I came up with the card above. The bonus of the clock faces contained in this set is that they coordinate with a 1 3/4" circle punch and can be layered & matted with products that coordinate with that size circle such as these Papertrey Ink Mat Stack Dies!

Also stamp the time to that which you choose!

This set is timeless & has so many possibilities and will always be one of my FAVES! Here is how one customer Lucy Abrams created, who bought Time put it to use & submitted it for publication ...

You can find this in the current Sept/Oct issue of Paper Crafts magazine! Here are a couple of cards from when this set was first released ...

It's been fun focusing on this set, seeing how others have used it and looking back at cards I created back in February. I hope you join me again tomorrow for the next stamp set focus?!

I Spy ...

Hey Friends!

Happy Sunday to you all, I hope your all having a lovely weekend. I'm back today to share a card I made for a new to me sketch challenge blog. I was blog hopping about the other day & came across I Spy Sketches.

I saw this current sketch HERE & seen below & knew I had to play along!

The clock faces from TIME & EXTRA TIME were calling to be used for this sketch!

Once I got started piecing the card together once the clock faces had been stamped and punched out the cogs in my head started turning & I think you'll be seeing this LO again, possibly some TIME soon! Lol!

Short & sweet today, but I'll be back again same TIME tomorrow!

Clockwork Orange ...

Hey!

Happy Wednesday! I'm back today with a card inspired by a title of a movie ... 'Clockwork Orange'. For this card I used the retrosketch#6 sketch for the LO of this card. It fits perfectly with the stamps in the Time & Extra Time stamp sets!

Here's my card ...

This is another lil card measuring 11cm X 11cm. I'm trying to use up CS from my scrap pile so it goes down a little but it doesn't seem to have much of a dent in it at the moment!

As usual Time seems to be flying and there is still much to be done in the Studio! I hope you are all having a good week so far.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thinking about you ...

Hello!

Welcome back on this BH Monday here in the UK! I have another card to share today which uses the digital TIME papers available for purchase HERE

I have used a current Clean & Simple sketch for the LO of this card. I enjoy working to a sketch that I haven't created as it makes me look at my supplies differently. However, when I saw THIS sketch I knew what I wanted to use ...

Here's my take on the sketch ...

I used one of my favourite papers from the collection & paired it with the matching clock face & sentiment from the Extra Time stamp set.

Again a sketch I could se myself using again!

I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you may be doing. I'm off to enjoy my last day off with my hunny! Thanks for stopping by today.

Clock Flowers ...

Whoop Whoop for Wednesday!

It's another sunny one here in the North East of the UK. I am certainly enjoying this mini heatwave we're having so this post will be short and sweet! I've enjoyed spending some TIME in the garden tidying, weeding & yesterday planting some flowers, strawberry plants & lettuce!

Whilst I was gardening yesterday I was inspired by the colours & flowers around me, it got me thinking about incorporating these into a card & this is what I came up with ...

I couldn't resist having another play at using the clock hands as a border! This TIME I used both the clock hands from Extra Time & stamped them in Summer Sunrise & Hawaiian Shores. For the clock face I stamped it onto Summer Sunrise CS & cut the inner circle out & mounted it onto the clock face I had stamped onto white CS & punched out using my 1 3/4" circle punch. I then matted this to a piece of Raspberry Fizz CS that was die cut with PTI's Limitless Layers 1 3/4" dies.

I used the Fiskars Threading Water punch to create the loopy border to 'ground' the stamped piece, which is adhered to the card base using foam pads. A simple sentiment from Extra Time & a sparkly button finishes off the card!

Don't forget about having a go at the CHALLENGE using the FREE Uniko Studio digital Time paper available HERE! I have now added a link to the challenge post in the left side bar.

I'm off now to the sunny garden with my sketch book to draw & be inspired by the nature around me! I hope you all have a lovely day wherever you may be.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Creating Borders ...

HEY!

Happy Tuesday ... I'm back today to share a lil CAS card with y'all.

I'm having some FUN at the MOMENT playing with the smaller stamps contained in the Time & Extra Time stamp sets. They open up SO many possibilities for creating patterns. For this card I used a clock hand & sentiment from Extra Time. I simply started stamping the clock hand vertical & rotating it 180 degrees & stamping it again. I started the process from the middle & worked out to the sides in both directions.  I kept this card 10.5 x 10.5 cm for no particular reason than for using up scraps of CS I had left over from other projects.

Just imagine creating a multi coloured border or stripes of clock hands in a rainbow of colours there are SO many things you can do with the smaller stamps in the Uniko Studio stamp sets!

Before I go today I have one more card to share. I spotted this BEAUTY when I was mooching around the internet last night.

This card is by Debby from Lime Doodle Blog. I have been an admirer of Debby's CAS style cards for a while now, so I love to pop by Debby's blog for a look see! And look what I found ...

Debby has used a clock face from the Extra Time stamp set paired with some Waltzingmouse stamps & lovely lovely Studio Calico DP. I strongly recommend having a look around Debby's Blog HERE as her projects are FAB!

That's all I have to share today but of course I will be back again tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!
