I'm absolutely delighted to be kicking off the weekend with a welcome to the Uniko Brand Ambassadors post. 

I know you will, but please give a warm welcome to Natalie Seddons.

I've know Natalie for quite a few years now and always been in awe of her colouring skills. Natalie has worked colouring and creative magic with Uniko products.

Hi I’m Natalie aka momma sedds and I’m very excited to be joining the Uniko team. I’m currently on maternity leave and trying to craft away whilst the little one naps! 

I started card-making back in 2011 but I’ve always been colouring and creating away. As soon as I found Copics and Distress inks I really found my style and they are my absolute favourite medium to work. 

I hope you like my creations and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Hello & Happy Tuesday.

I am delighted you have stopped by here on this final day of January. As today I get to give a warm welcome to our newest Brand Ambassador, Vinita Jain. 

Vinita has been a long supporter, follower and customer at Uniko. So I am delighted to hand you over for a brief introduction from Vinita herself.

Hello! 

My name is Vinita Jain and I am from India. I am 54 years old. I came to crafting in 2013 when I took early retirement from Kindergarten teaching in 2012. It changed my whole life! Since then I'm addicted and spent my whole time ( and money) crafting as a hobby. I love to experiment with different techniques and colouring mediums. With Uniko Brand Products when I worked for the first time, I noticed their excellent quality, so many universal designs, fun and interesting. To create with them is a pleasure! 

I am honoured to be part of this exciting adventure and hope to inspire you with my creations!

New Brand Ambassador - A Warm Welcome to Steph!

Happy Thursday! 

I am delighted today to be giving a warm welcome and introduction to our newest Brand Ambassador, Steph Mortimer. I'm sure you are familiar with Steph's work around blog land as she is on a few challenge design teams and is a frequent participant in previous Uniko Challenges. If not, I am passing you over to Steph for a little introduction....

Hello, my name is Steph and I am over the moon to be joining the Uniko team as a Brand Ambassador. It has been a dream of mine for a while so I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet! So, here’s a little about me by way of introduction. 

I live in Derbyshire with my husband and twin girls. Like many crafters I have been creating in one form or another since I was a child but what first captured my heart was cross stitch. It wasn't until I was looking for wedding stationary that I caught the paper crafting bug. Not being able to find anything that I liked, I purchase a Big Shot machine and a few staple items and set about making my own. 

My first papercraft obsession was stamps, quickly followed by dies, but I have since managed to amass ink pads, alcohol markers and now it seems patterned papers a plenty! My natural cardmaking style is CAS, but I am always looking to learn new techniques and push myself out of my comfort zone so I do occasionally like to throw everything at a card in a very un-CAS like way! 

I was first introduced to Uniko by Brand Ambassador Alumni, Lyndsey Bowe and I have spent many a happy hour crafting in her dining room and routing through her Uniko collection. I now have an impressive Uniko collection of my own and I’m so happy I will be using them even more now I’m part of the team.

Welcome Steph! 

I asked Steph to choose a few of her favourite Uniko makes so that I could share them with you to give you a flavour of her style if you are unfamiliar with her creations. Let's have a look...

Absolutely love this combination of Uniko Peonies and English Country Garden Butterflies. I think you would agree with me that the colouring and colours are stunning.

Simple Art Deco elegance with this card using our Background Builders Arts Decoratifs and Arts Decoratifs stamp sets. 

And lastly but by no means lease this beautiful starry sky CAS card...

Now you can see why I am delighted to have Steph join us here at Uniko and I am sure you are all as excited as I am to see Steph in action, so keep your eye out for Steph's first inspiration post coming soon here on the blog.

A Warm Welcome

Today I am delighted to be introducing you to the newest Uniko Brand Ambassador. I am sure that this person will not be a stranger to the majority of Uniko followers and to those who join in on the Uniko and many of the challenges around blog land! 

So without further ado I would like you all to give Hannelie from Desert Diva a warm welcome :)

Hi, my name is Hannelie Bester, I am a South-African living in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) for the last 11 years. We moved to this part of the world because of a job opportunity that was offered to my husband.

I’ve been making cards for many years, but I started blogging soon after we moved here... hence the title of my blog!

Living so far away from my loved ones, made me realise just how much I love them. Card making helps me cope with being far away from 'home', and challenges my right brain, since I am a left brained, logical and analytical pharmacist at heart! 

Clean, simple and graphic would be a good description of my style.

Un Accueil Chaleureux (A Warm Welcome)...

Hello & Happy Weekend!

Today I am delighted to be introducing you to the newest member of the Design Team. I am sure that this person will not be a stranger to the majority of Uniko followers and to those who join in on the Uniko and "Less is More" Challenges!

So without further ado I would like you all to give Izzy from Izzy Scrap a warm welcome :)

Hi, I’m Izzy. For those who already know me, you know how much I love the Uniko stamps so when I received Bev’s email asking me if I’d like to join the DT, I was just over the moon and I am still now. I’m so proud and so very delighted to be joining the wonderful and creative Uniko Design Team. I live in Le Mans in France with my amazing lovely hubby and our two teenagers (16 and 13) plus our two cats. They are my first fervent supporters (the cats too !). I bought my first crafting supplies (1 rubber stamp, 3 embossing pens and 1 embossing powder, using my halogen lamp to heat emboss !) about 20 years ago to make my own Christmas cards ! But I really started to craft in 2010 when we were abroad. I started with scrapbooking but I rapidly switched to cards. When we came back to France, my husband and children urged me to make my own blog, that’s what I did in May 2016. Since then I enjoy making cards and visiting blogs where I find my inspiration. I’d like to think that my style is rather CAS and I try to find my own style. I’m so happy to belong to this community so rich of wonderful people, full of artists and I’m very thankful to be part of it. It’s a nice way to meet new friends and it’s a great experience !
