For years, I compared Bardo Pond to Sonic Youth, for anyone who had either never heard them or heard any of the lesser known bands similar to them, only because Sonic Youth is the most famous band that sounds kind of like Bardo Pond. The second comparison would be to My Bloody Valentine. But, over the years, Bardo's sound has evolved, and these comparisons are no longer accurate. Nowadays, to be precise, one must use references from all spectrums of rock, and even avant garde jazz, to describe the full fuzz of Bardo Pond.
Trying to use no comparisons at all, imagine the sound of an electrified hummingbird: sometimes there will be motion, with twists and turns in their songs; other times, the sound is feverishly kept, hovering in place. Bardo Pond creates an intense wall of sound that you expect to break through your skin, but, instead, it just hums and buzzes all over you.

Om is a duo formed in 2003 by the rhythm section of the disbanded stoner doom metal band Sleep. The band's first three albums feature Al Cisneros on vocals and bass and Chris Hakius on drums. Their music is similar in structure to Tibetan chanting and is rich in rhythm and melody. Their music and lyrics lift off at the beginning and slowly mutate giving a feeling of evolution inside each song.
On the 31st of January 2008, it was confirmed that Hakius had left the band, but that Om would continue with another drummer, according to a message on the band's website. The message also stated that "A live vinyl only LP, Om - Live at Jerusalem, will be forthcoming. This is Chris Hakius' final release with the group."
In March 2008 OM recorded a 7" for Sub Pop records. The song "Gebel Barkal" is the first to feature new drummer Emil Amos.
The founding members of the great "drone mantra" duo OM are Al Cisneros (bass) and Chris Hakius (drums), formerly of SLEEP, the influential 90's Doom/Stoner/callitwhatyouwant band with Matt Pike (now in High on Fire) on guitar.
Unfortunately, Al Cisneros recently announced that Chris Hakius had left the band due to unknown reasons. Al will continue OM with a new drummer. Enjoy it, you might never gonna see them play together again. Sad but true.
Nebula, is born thanks to the guitarist Eddie Glass and the drummer Ruben Romano, in 1997, then there joins to Stoner's machine the bassist Mark Abshire. The spatial engine of the ship directed to materializing hard tracks that flow for the feedback of the psychodelic rock, is understood as a dose of intravenous Black Sabbath, in the maximum volume of the cerebral blows of low tones guided by the rhythmic source. The spectacle is opened, giving him form to a giant eye surrounded with smoke, nebulous of colors that understand a cycle being employed at harmony with the bottom that observes you, and in your to look they change the scenes of to red and yellow tenuous, the band in the center of the sight, I appear of breaking abrupt the song with a chord of heat guitar fully, in flames, enjoy his discs!.

El motor espacial de la nave dirigido a materializar pistas duras que fluyen por el feedback de la roca sicodélica, se comprende como una dosis de Black Sabbath intravenosa, en el volumen máximo de los golpes cerebrales de tonos bajos guiados por la fuente rítmica. It supports the energy at the edge of the psychodelic dementia of classic bands as the Sabbath, riff intense sharing matter with a melodic voice. To my taste you have to light a cigarette and raise the volume to your sound system, play with equalizer well the low ones.

Fuerza Psikodélika, esta banda oriunda de "Psychedelphia", forma un aspero space rock que ve como se derrite con ruidosos sobresaltos en la mayor parte de su esplendor, droning guitars, thick distortion, feedback, reverb, and washes of white noise. Sus estructuras son influenciadas por el blues, pero Bardo Pond reconoce sus raíces en la vanguardia, el free-jazz, noise, es tan solo otra fugaz escombro mantenido con naturalidad coleccionada, PSIKODELICS FOREVER.
