Swimmy.Swimmy.Swimmy

Rocco has now been swimming a couple times...and his parents have had a blast! He's the best, and so fun to do new things with :) Here are a couple pics from some of his outings.

His very first time...with the biggest hat and biggest swimsuit on

We only dipped his feet this time, and it was so stinking hot we only were there for a minute. But so fun.

Then we went back with Dad, which he got really excited about :)

All ready in his big hat!

Getting dipped with Dad

They spent most of the time in the hot tub (which was more like a lukewarm bath tub, don't worry).

Swimming is so fun with the little guy...so we'll have lots more pictures soon!

And so tired after watching Dad play volleyball :)

KC, MO

Is where we are living for the summer--Kansas City, Missouri. So far, it's been great! Nice apartments, a Target in every possible direction, a fabulous outdoor mall, and a super cute little baby to play with at all times. (Shown below:)

Ty's back into the swing of things; working really hard, all while trying to fit some food and sleep in if possible. I, on the other hand, am working much less than summers past because I've been replaced by a newer, better scheduling system. I'm definitely glad to have more "free" time to take care of Rocco though! Here are a few pictures I've been able to get since we've been out here...
Rocco, me, and Misfit ready for the meeting

The guys started things off right with a field day

I made a onesie for Rocco with some of the extra fabric from Rach's shower, it has Ty's Kansas City office logo on it. So fun :)
Me and Rocco ready to go watch Dad at field day...

Modeling his shirt at field day

This picture was never supposed to be seen...but it was too cute. It was super cold while we were watching the guys so Macie Bell was nice enough to loan Rocco her cute pink hat :)

The wives that came to watch. L-R: Katerina, Katie & Macie, me & Rocco, Rach (& Kev), Chelsea, and Cornelia

Rocco loves to help his dad work :)

He also loves to be a little stunt man with his dad

Rocco and me on Mother's Day--behind us are the flowers that Ty and Rocco sent me :)

Ty has done such an awesome job with the office this year. He made all of the designs, and our apartment looks great! This pic (which is so cute of Ty and Rocco) shows the cool boards that are hanging around the office--that I made Rocco's onesie to match :) Also-don't mind the huge spit up mark on Rocco's pants. He's cool with it, we're cool with it.

So those are some of the pics I've been able to get of what we've been up to since we've been here--I keep forgetting to take my camera to lunch with the wives, that will be my goal for next week. Now, it's Rocco-time.

I love this picture of Misfit watching over Rocco while he plays. He's a great baby sitter.

I definitely should have known better, but I came back from putting Rocco down to find this

We got Rocco this little jumper station doodle thing and he absolutely loves it! He loves to put weight on his legs and try to stand, so when he's able to stretch far enough to get his little toes to actually touch the ground he goes crazy. It's so cute to watch!

Rocco, Misfit, and me have been taking some walks...which will be a lot more fun when the weather gets warmer!

Ty loves this shirt...

Rocco's cute new jams from his cousin Krew :)

Such a sweet little guy. I love getting to play with him all day every day. I'll take some pictures of actual events soon, but for now we're having fun living in Missouri!

BabyShower.BBQ.HatDay

*Baby Shower*

Wahoo I have some fun pictures to update with! It's been much too long. First, I got to throw my sis-in-law Rach a baby shower a couple weeks ago, and it was sooooo much fun to put together--a little too much fun probably :) I hope Rach had near as much fun attending as I did planning! Here are some pics I got, not any of any actual people, but I promise there were lots of guests!

So I got the idea to make onesies for the baby for the shower from Jani Bell's blog, and it turned out really fun. Here's the table all ready for the crafting to begin

I had kind of gone with a golf theme, so I made this onesie for Jordan (I mean for the baby :)

(Jordan's friends call him J-Dubb...that's why)

And this one for Rach:

Another game, and some treats

More treats

The Decor, I wish you could see better but this picture kind of makes it hard to tell what's going on, but Ty had hung golf clubs from our upstairs in a little "x" that looked so cute. On each side of them I hung one of the onesies I had made Rach, and then we had balloons on the bottom floor peeking up into the main floor. I had way too much fun :)

These are the party favors that were tied to the balloons on the bottom floor

I wish I'd gotten some actual pictures of people, but it turned out really fun and Rach got some great stuff!
Rocco and me going to church the next day :)

*BBQ*

Our good friend Derald was moving to California, so he had a barbeque for all of us who were also moving for the summer to say goodbye!

All ready to go :)

Some family shots :) Rocco's so much fun :)

We'll miss Derald!

*HatDay*

We came across all of the cute hats we'd been given for Rocco, and couldn't help taking pictures of him in every one :) For those of you who aren't Rocco's grandparents, I apologize for all the pictures to follow-

His Hunting hat
So excited to go hunting :)

His SnowBunny hat

And my absolute favorite, his Elf Hat :)

Also, we have moved to Kansas City and are adjusting to life in the Midwest. Which so far is great. I'll hopefully be able to get some good pictures soon, and do another update! Including Rocco's first really big smile I was able to catch on camera :)
