Rainy Days and Visitors!

I have been meaning to post our fun Rainy Day activity forever, so these pictures are a little old...but a couple of weeks ago Jacob, our head technician out here, put together an ultimate sports competition for all the reps and techs. Everyone was assigned to a team and they played Steal the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball, and did a little obstacle course. I was a "referee" for Steal the Flag, which was really fun because I got to watch everyone playing, and what made it even more fun/extreme was that it dumped rain on us the ENTIRE time!!! I don't think I've ever been outside for so long in so much rain...but it only made it more fun! They played Steal the Flag in a forest that was on the side of the park, so every time I tried to take a picture I couldn't find anyone to take a picture of, so all I have are some pictures of the water ballon fight that took place at the end. Here are the few pictures I got...

What started out as this...two seperate sides peacefully abiding by the water ballon rules...

Quickly turned to this...mass chaos!

I wish you could tell more how bad it was raining...but Ty's clothes and hair give you an idea...

The girls that toughed out the weather! L-R: Kelsie, Nicole, Katie & Macie, Me, Michelle

Ty and me soaking wet after the event...

All of the boys who played...if you look really closely you can see the rain, and how scratched up the boys legs were from running through thorn bushed during Steal the Flag. Luckily none of us went home with a tick...

This is kind of funny because the day before Rainy Day activity was sunny and nice, and Misfit and I went and watched the boys play football at the park...Misfit smiles so good for pictures.

It was one of our guys birthdays last week, and his wife planned a really fun surprise party for him at our apartments clubhouse...complete with a fabulous breakfast!

And one of the best things about the birthday party was Maddix was here for it! Complete with cuddly little pj's. Eric and Nat came into town on Father's Day, and we got to spend a few days with them which was great. We hadn't seen Maddix since before the summer, and he seemed so grown up!!!

Tuesday happened to be Nat's birthday, so we were so glad we got to celebrate it with her! Especially since I notoriously never have a birthday present for her on time, this made it nice and easy to give one to her! In very un-birthday like fashion, Nat took all of the wives out to lunch on her birthday (I know it should have been the other way around)...it was really fun and I'm so glad so many of the wives could make it! I tried to get a picture of everyone who was there...

L-R: Vanessa, Staycee, Karly, and Jessica

L-R: Jen Savannah and Dylan, Rachel, Ashley, Allison

Me with Nat and Brooke...a whole bunch of blondes...not me for much longer...

It was really fun having Maddix and Nat stay with us...especially when Maddix would sit in his little chair at our bar...his legs dangled so high!

This is a picture of a typical scene while Nat was here...Thanks Nat for putting up with Misfit wanting to be involved in whatever you and/or Maddix was doing at all times...

Ty and Maddix and me at dinner that night for Nat's birthday...Maddix has the cutest little smile in this picture!

I absolutely love this picture of the Mealey's...I think it should be there new family photo. Happy Birthday again Nat! I loved having you guys in town!

Boston.Baby.Boston

I have some random things to post...so enjoy!

*Boston*

Jess organized a really fun potluck at my apartment last week, and of course I forgot to pull my camera out until after some of the girls had already left, but here are some of the pictures I got!

Olive (Erin Colby's little girl) followed me around while I had my camera out and would smile so good when I took pictures of her!  She is such a cutie, and a natural little performer!

Here are some of the girls I was able to get pictures of...

L-R: Erin, Michelle, Chelsea, and Brooke

L-R: Shawna and Chloe, Kelsie, Megan and Ben

Vanessa and Chloe, and Erin and Ben

L-R: Jen and Savannah, Jessica, Me and Olive, and Karly.  I like to tell myself Olive really liked me this day, but I think she was mainly loving the camera!

A picture I managed to snap of Rach as she was leaving.  I realized I haven't posted any pictures of our apartment either, so this kind of gives an idea of what the main floor looks like at least. It's absolutely perfect for having big groups over and rambunctious little kids...
I love having so many girls out here, and thanks everyone for coming!

*Baby*

Thank you to everyone who commented on our baby post, it was so fun to hear from so many people!  We're really excited, and excited that all of our friends can share with us now too!  I don't have much to update because it's still so early, I'm 7 weeks now (way early...we're crazy for telling everyone we know), but I haven't been sick at all yet so we're just hoping that keeps up!

My mom and dad sent us these pretty flowers the day after we told them we were expecting...they lived for almost two weeks it was awesome!  Thanks again mom and dad, now you can see how pretty they were!

I made Ty take maybe 10,000 pictures with me because I was going to use one to announce we were expecting, but we didn't like any of them so it ended up being a waste of time...but here are a few from the whole ordeal!

This was Ty's announcement board for his meeting last Friday...so cute...

Last but not least:

*Misfit*

And his Horribly Bad No Good hair cut:

I took Misfit to Petsmart for his regular haircut, and when I picked him up I saw this naked little alien faced dog.  For those of you who have seen Misfit, he does not usually look like a naked skeleton alien!  The crazy lady at Petsmart shaved his entire face, including shaving off ALL of his whiskers, and turned my cute little puppy into a terrifying naked thing.  Needless to say it was very traumatizing for me...but we think he's starting to look a little better, either that or we've just gotten used to his crazy face!

This is just a couple days after the cut...so he was still way scary looking (ignore the messy bathroom in the background)

This was just a few days ago, and I like to think he's starting to look a little bit more normal! One day hopefully we'll have that loveable little puppy face back...

That's all for now...hopefully we'll do some awesome things I can post about soon...

Newsworthy...
