Harrison is 3!

This cute and crazy boy turned 3!  He is such a funny boy, very easy-going and loves trucks, cars, and mom so much.
He had a "Cars" birthday party with a bounce house.  Since we didn't know anyone yet, we invited most of the neighborhood and had several families come.

Cousin Hadley and Grandpa/Grandma came to celebrate.
After having a disaster batch of cupcakes (thanks high altitude), I had to make them into cake pops and do another batch of cupcakes.  We had plenty of treats!

Blowing his candles out on his real birthday, a few days later.
He is such a silly boy and would ride cars outside all day long if we let him!  He has worn holes in 3 different pairs of shoes from riding his wiggle car so much.
 Pretending to be dad.
He is getting so sweet with Weston and baby talks to him a lot.
But he is also very mischievous.  He colored on the pillow of the brand new couch!  He has done lots more naughty things like coloring walls, smashing my lipstick all over the floor/diaper bag, filling up brown sugar canister with water, sneaking candy/cookies/Tyler's drinks ALL the time, eating chips out of the trash, waking up the girls downstairs, and playing in the van.  He is a hard one to keep track of!  But he always wins me back over by saying sorry in a sweet voice and giving me a big hug.  How do you resist little smiles like that?
He also went through a taking off jammies/diaper phase which was a mess because he'd wake up soaking wet!

Winding up to smash Penny's sand castles like any good brother.
Downing a burger at Habit.  He know what's up!
We love this wild man so much!

School Start

It was good to start school to help the kids transition to Vernal.  Getting into a routine and making friends helps so much!  Bridgette started 1st grade at Discovery Elementary and has Mrs. LeFevre.  She is a great teacher and Bridgette really likes her.

Penny was excited to finally get to go to preschool.  A girl in our ward does one at her house, so we get to walk there and Penny gets to be with her friends from Primary.  It has been perfect.
So, my afternoons are "free" while Harrison naps and I take care of Weston/Weston naps.  It's worked out great!

Weston's first month

Poor baby had an exciting, crazy first month.  We hardly had time to catch our breath with the move.  Luckily Weston is a sweet easy going baby.  He has the best hair which every person comments on. This month he learned how to take a binky.
As the 4th child, mom forgets he is doing tummy time...
 Napping on the couch.
I put him down for a second to put something away, and he fell asleep on the floor.  So cute!
First bath.  I love this "what did you do to me?" face.
Kids love him.  They are all in their blankets from my mom with the matching little snuggle.
 Finally some first smiles.

The move

We had many tearful goodbyes to our good friends before we left.  My best friend Hailey with her new baby Miles.  Weston and Miles will be best friends too one day!
These two sweet girls were so sad to be separated.  Stella and Penny.  Best friends!
We stayed a week at a friends' house in California while I recovered.  We had to be out of the Ritz's house the beginning of August, so this worked out great.  We finally left once I felt a little better and made the trip out to St. George.  Harrison watching "Cars" with his Cars snuggles.
We had a night from hell in the hotel room, and then headed up to Layton in the morning.  Weston got to meet his Great Grandma Melville.
We got to spend time with Grammy and Popcan and cousins.
We got to move into our house the second week of August.  The movers got all our stuff here undamaged and on time!  We were super happy with them.
Since then we have tried getting settled.  The yard needed lots of work.  The garden was completely overgrown, but we are happy to inherit a cherry, plum and pear tree.  Tyler has already planted 2 apple trees.

We have been working on decorating the house and getting tons of furniture.  Tyler got me this big picture of Newport Beach for my birthday.  I love it and it reminds us of California.
 Snuggling in the new chair.
Penny finally got a big bed!

I bought this beautiful Baldwin Baby Grand piano.  We were gifted some money from my Grandma Tucker, so I used that money towards this.  I have LOVED having a piano again.  It sounds and looks amazing.
We have been exploring Vernal.  We took the kids out to Dinosaur National Monument.  They loved riding the tram up.  We think the bones are awesome, but the kids ran through it in 5 minutes.
We got passes to the Rec Center and Bridgette loves the climbing wall.  We go swimming often too (indoor pool!).
Tyler started his job and has been pretty busy already.
The kids thought it was hilarious Tyler kept being advertised in the local newspaper.
So far, it's been okay, but moving is hard!
