INSPIRATION MONDAY - CLEAR STAMPS

Hello everyone! Welcome to Inspiration Monday!

Today our theme is: Clear Stamps

The challenge this week for the La-La Land Crafts Team is to create a card with clear stamps. I was pretty darn excited to use the Beep Beep Clear Stamp Set from the February 2021 release. I love how sweet this little robot family is.

For my card, I used the Celebration Layering Stencil Set to make a background paper that would match one of the papers from the Celebrate Paper Pack. Then, I added the "Happy" die-cut to the top of the card, which was cut with the Happy Stitched Die. The candles were also made with the Three Candles Die. I always have so much fun adding lots of die cuts to my cards. I hope I've inspired you to check out the latest release from La-La Land Crafts.

La-La Land Crafts - Inspiration Monday - New Release

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Inspiration Monday.

I'm back today with another celebration card featuring just a few of the super cute items from the February release at La-La Land Crafts.

This time, Marci is going to a party with a few of her closest friends. To get the party look, I paired two separate stamps, the Birthday Present Marci Rubber Stamp and the From all of Us Rubber Stamp. I also created a bit of background paper with the Happy Birthday Stamp Set. It's a large background stamp set. I embossed it with white embossing powder and then did a bit of ink blending with Distress Oxides. I want to coordinate the colors with one of the papers from the also brand new, Sparkle and Shine Paper Pack. Next, I scattered a few presents around which were cut using the Three Presents Die and there is even a number six birthday balloon, which was cut with the Balloon Numbers Die. How's that for a party? :)

LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - NEW RELEASE INSPIRATION - DAY 2

Hello there!

I am so very happy to be back today with another card created with products from the La-La Land Crafts, December release. This release is completely packed with so many fun stamps and dies and a beautiful new paper pack too. Isn't that Ski Lodge adorable and in the background, there are mountains created with the Mountains Die and there are even snow tips, which I did in white glitter.

For Marci's hat and coat, I stamped one of the small images that are included in the Winter Knits Background Stamp Set, onto Marci and then paper pieced the coat and hat pieces onto a second stamped image. I love the impact that this had on the image and the background stamp is so sweet!

Inspiration Monday - New Release

Hello everyone! Welcome to Inspiration Monday!

Today our theme is: NEW RELEASE

I am beyond thrilled to be able to share with you a card that I made with a bunch of new yummy goodies that have just been released. The dies in the new release are amazing!

Check out that poinsettia. Isn't it gorgeous? Then there are the skis and just look at the ski lift in the background. It all makes me giddy! LOL

There are also a bunch of new stamps and for my card, I chose the Hot Cocoa Molli Rubber Stamp and one of the sweet bears from the Winter Bears Clear Stamp Set.

Molli and her little buddy are warming their hands inside the ski lodge, which is exactly where I would be if I went skiing too. ;)

La La Land Krafts–Day 4 Release- Country Style Shadow Box

I am very, very happy to be back with La La Land Crafts for

one more post for their new release which includes 8 new Stamps, 7 new Dies, and 3 new Shadow Boxes!!

Choosing a shadow box and stamps from this release was a torture! They are all FABULOUS! But…I did have to make a choice…and so…I did. This one is the Country Style Shadow Box…and not only is the frame adorable…you get tons of fun shapes to play with too. There is a milk can, an award ribbon, a wagon wheel, a cute country fence and a couple of banner shapes too.

By the way…in case you find in impossible to choose just one, Irina had a great price on a bundle of the newest shadow boxes …but only for a little while!

I tried all types of different finishes on each piece. The shadowbox and fence have a crackle finish. For the milk can, I did some heat embossing. The awards ribbon was colored with Copics and along with the wagon wheel… was given a sparkle finish with Utee and glitter.

The shadow box scene was created with two new stamps from this weeks release, Luka on Tractor and Wheelbarrow Marci which includes the Love you Bunches sentiment.

La La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday – Altered–3D project

Bee Happy!!

I was like a kid in a candy store when fabulous shadow box from Irina at LLLC arrived on my doorstep!! I honestly…could not wait to play with it! The possibilities are truly endless!! I already knew that I wanted to use Watercan Marci…so my next step was to pick a color scheme…and I tend to let my paper pads help me with that. I settled on the bright colors from the My Minds Eye Notable 6 x6 papers. After that, I thought that a distressed crackle finish would go along well with the garden theme, so with acrylic paint, I painted my top layer of the shadow box in orange. After it dried, I applied the crackle finish. and here… is where the hardest part begins…waiting for the magic to happen. I’ve heard..that you really shouldn’t try to speed the process up with a heat gun…but I did….Don’t tell, K?

After it was completely dried, I diluted a bit more orange paint…and worked it into the cracks and crevices…as I really wanted the orange to show through. After my shadowbox was assembled…and Marci was colored and placed inside…it was time to add the embellishments. It was a bit like decorating a playhouse! The gloves and water can were cut on my cameo…and the bees, which come with the darling Watercan Marci…were just stamped multiple times, colored, cut out..and popped onto the frame. It was SUCH FUN!

LaLa Land Crafts–All About a Boy
