I was visiting Oregon recently and snapped this pic of my granddaughter Emma along with a new-ish addition to my family, Bentleigh. The pic kind of reminded me of this image, so I thought I would take the opportunity to sneak this photo in. It may not look like it in this photo, but it was a chilly 30 degrees that day!

This precious stamp is Trimming the Tree and I’ve paired the image with Snow Princess Paper Pad.
Aren’t the colors scrumptious?! I really enjoy using non-traditional colors for Christmas cards. P1070618
The poinsettias were made with Spellbinders Poinsettia Die. Here is a link to a tutorial I did last year for Splitcoast on the flowers.

Lili of the Valley – Fluttering Gift Box & Few Fairy Gardens

Fluttering
Hello there dear friends!! I’m sharing my very last Lili of the Valley project with you today.
I do hope you like it!
For my project, I purchased a plain, unpainted wooden box at my local craft store. After removing all of the hardware, I gave it a couple of coats of acrylic paint in a nice shade of lavender.  After the paint dried, I cut pieces of the GORGEOUS Timeless Victorian papers to fit onto the box. Before adhering to the box though, I had lots of fun with embossing paste and stencils. Around the box, I added a string of pearls and Gesso. I also added touches of gold Rub and Buff to all the new hardware and some of the embossing paste textures.

Fluttering Close Up
Here is a close up of the sweet Fluttering from Lili of the Valley.
 Butterfly close up
I stamped a couple of extra butterflies, colored them and cut them out. After using my stylus to shape the wings I glued them on to the image to pop them off the page a bit.
OK! So, what’s in the box, right?
It’s a fairy garden kit.  Yep!  A Fairy Garden in a Box kit!  In case you’re wondering what the heck that is, I’ve included photos of my own fairy gardens. I wonder if Fluttering might be very happy in one of my fairy gardens.
I think it would be a sweet housewarming gift or a welcome to the neighborhood gift along with a few small plants to get started.  Inside the box, there is a fairy sign,  fairy sized bicycle, a bench,  a very small birdhouse, a very tiny bunny in a leaf and ..a fairy, all individually wrapped in cellophane bags.

So, …what’s a fairy garden? I’ll share a few of mine with you.
Hanging Fairy Garden with Water Feature
A hanging basket Fairy Garden complete with miniature plants
and a small “lake” with a bunny floating by in a leaf and a fairy tending to the garden.
Small Fairy Garden #1
Small Fairy Garden #2
Two more fairy gardens in baskets on the fence.
18 Inch Saucer
In an 18 inch saucer dish, sitting on the table between to chairs.  If you look closely,  you might be able to see the tiny ladybug sitting next to the fairy on the arm of the chair and a sign that says, believe in magic.
Flirty Fairies in a Fountain
This one is in a non working fountain on my patio.
I think these two fairies are flirting with each other.

And another hanging basket with a vintage travel trailer, bicycle and a tire swing and Adirondack chair. There is even a gnome sneaking in to play in the fairy garden.

A door to who knows where.

And the very last one is just two mushrooms in the moss growing in a teacup.

Lastly, I thought I would include a photo of one of my teacup birdfeeders too.
I found this easy to follow tutorial at CapsCreations
Hopefully, you are still with me! I know there was a bunch to read and I got a little chatty!!  LOL!! If I didn’t cover something or you have any questions, please just ask. I would love to hear from you.
I want to say a HUGE welcome to Anne and Lili of the Valley for having me!! I adored every single second playing with and creating these projects with these gorgeous, fabulous products!! I know there will be a lot more LOTV projects in my future!!

Hello there!! I’m so happy you came back!!
I’m still here… jumping for joy!!!
dancing-with-joy-smiley-emoticon[3]
I want to share with you a little project that I made for my guest spot over at Lili of the Valley.
This sweetheart of an image is Coffee Break.
P1070416
I paired the image with one of the sentiments from the Simply Sophisticated set along with the exquisite papers collection, Timeless Victorian. As you may have noticed, I like purples and lavenders and this collection is full of that!! The patterns in these papers are so lush too!  Using stencils,  embossing paste and glitter, I added some dimension to my project also.

Using my Cameo, I made a coffee pot and filled it with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I also made a chocolate dispenser. Right now it’s holding Ghirardelli chocolates but I think the size could be adjusted to fit the new Lili of the Valley Chocolates!  Now THAT would be so adorable!!  I found the tutorial for the chocolate dispenser on Running with Scissors.

Lili of the Valley–Friends Forever

Hello there dear friends! I am so very, very …VERY HAPPY to be back with you today, sharing my 2nd little project as a guest design team member at Lili of the Valley.P1070390
I found this sweet little journal at my local craft store and used stencils, embossing paste and glittered dragonflies on the top of the journal to joosh it up a bit.
Next, I colored this darling, sweet image, Friends Forever from Lili of the Valley. These fairies are so sweet and delicate…I just LOVE them!!
P1070383
My frame was cut on my cameo using the my very favorite Timeless Victorian papers. I also rolled up a bit of paper to tuck into the pen, so it would match too.
P1070389-001
The sentiment is from the Simply Sophisticated set.  As I’ve said before, this is such a versatile set…I find myself using it all the time. Smile
