Beckham Wednesday

Good morning! It has been awhile since I posted last. This month or should I say June was a long month. Mostly due to graduation for the boys and what we did get for a "graduation" ceremony. It was very special and sweet considering the Covid phase we are still battling in Washington state. Needless to say I am ready to get back into the stamp room this weekend. And looking at my card below you will see why I need to get some mojo going. :-)
This is for the July Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for the month. You can check it out here and play along with us.

This is quick using Beckham from Whipper Snapper. he is lightly colored with Copic markers. I aded a few die cute to the edge with some sparkles and silver cord. My new designer paper that I got a few weeks ago is the base. Voila!

May Ride the ole skates

Well hello! It has been awhile since my last post, I know. Life has been pretty busy with the boys sports and events. Then we took a much needed little trip to relax and get ready for the next big swing of events. I am back, relaxed and SO ready to create. This card is for the Dirty Dozen May Christmas challenge that I did post over on SCS. I need to get into the stamping groove again.  :-)

The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches from a few back which fit this guy called Snowman Down. I am not sure if it is retired, it is not showing up in the store now? Sorry if he is cuz hes adorable! Anyways... he is colored with Copic markers and then added to the base with designer paper. I stamped the sentiment on the vellum strips and added some enamel dots and sparkles. Voila!
Thanks for stopping by.

Comet and friend

Rudolph gets all the attention so this is Comet today. hee hee  I adore this Whipper Snapper stamp called Snowman Harmony. I was in my chocolate and cream color mood when I created this. I have them stamped on white cardstock and colored with Various Copic markers.

The paper is from the Kaiser Kraft Frosted pack and the snowflake scallop is a punched piece from the back. Wrapped some brown ribbon around the top of the snowflake edge and tied a twine and button combo. Added some enamel dots and stickles to finish it off. The sentiment is from the back of the pack also but I am not sure I am too hip on it with the card. However its already glued down so no changing it now. ha ha! The December Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge this month is Animal Love. I would say this fits perfectly. hee hee  Thanks for stopping in today. Have a wonderful day!

Grateful pooch

Good morning. Hopefully you had a great weekend. The boys and I went with some friends to all the local Christmas bizarre's and got a few gifts. The fact the boys like to go each year is great. They have an appreciation of handmade things and the work that goes into them. Being that I stamp and create gifts might have something to do with that appreciation. :-) They really like to find the unique and cool sports stuff for either college of the NFL teams. Some of the things that they have bought over the years is so cool. I think my favorite one so far has been the clock they bought John made out of an old record shaped like the WSU Cougar logo that he has in his office. It is so cool. Anyways a great weekend and this week will be even more fun with Thanksgiving coming. Yea!!!

Enjoyed coloring this little guy up called Harry the dog. After he was colored I die cut his panel with an oval shape. The base layer is a new embossing folder to me as my sweet friend Leslie tempted me with her card HERE. This embossing folder is adorable and called Paw Prints. Once I saw Leslie's card I just had to add it to my collection. She is quite the enabler.  ;-)  Die cut a stitched frame for the oval to nestle between and then added my sentiment onto some vellum. Finished it off with a dog paw brad and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Puppy love

Good morning! How about some puppy love today? With summer here, Ranger sure does get a lot more loving from the boys since they are home all day. He acts like he is one of the boys right along side them when they are playing games or running around playing football. It is very cute. He does know how to play football in fact. He loves it and so do we. Anyways....

Dusted off this sweet guy from Whipper Snapper called Good News Puppy. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with various Copic markers. I then die cut his panel with Lil Inkers Stitched rectangle die. This plaid paper was perfect for the feel I wanted for this card. Used some hardware to tie off my ribbon, both of which I have had FOREVER! Stamped a paw print and popped it up on dimensionals. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Chocolate snowman anyone?

Good morning! Found some new snowmen stamp sets to purchase this year and figured while I wait for them to arrive, why not play with the stock I have. hee hee  This is Snow is Overrated from Whipper Snapper. Adorable isn't he! Was in a chocolate mood for the color design for this one and figured this is easier on the waist line. hee hee  Anyways...

Simple design with a Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders 3 along the bottom. A snowflakes textured panel behind the chubby little guy. Vellum overlay for the sentiment panel and a few accent dots and a button. Voila! Easy Peasy today. Hope you have a wonderful day!

FS427 Furry Thinking

This weeks Featured Stamper is Sue aka Gregzgrul. Great gallery of creations. I choose this Furry Favorite card to case. Kept the furry friend, over all sketch and similar papers. Changed the actual dog image, made it a larger panel, added brads. Enjoy your week Sue!

This fun guy is from Whipper Snapper called Good News Puppy that I bought years ago and enjoy stamping. He is on white card stock and colored with various Copic markers. I added a decorative border to the edge and a few bards. I made this for my friend Leslie who's fur baby has not been well as of late. Lulu is such a sweet puppy and Ranger wanted to make sure she knew we were thinking about her.  ;-)  I hope you get a chance to stamp and play this weekend.

Snowman giftcard

Good morning! I think our weather is a little behind on the calendar. What do I mean? Christmas day we had 52 degree sunshine, beautiful day. Today we have 22 degree cold overcast weather and I am pretty sure it will snow later today. I think mother nature was asleep at the wheel lately. ha ha!  This is one of the creations that was published in the CardMaker Holiday edition earlier this year. This snowman is adorable isn't he? He is Beckham from Whipper Snapper. This is a white bag turned into a card and gift card holder. Want to create your own, check out my Bag Gift card Holder tutorial. Works for any size bag just adjust for your bag size if needed.

Not sure why one photo is brighter than the other except one was taken at a distance? Oh well. The insert is where you can write your message and the pocket behind the snowman panel can hold up to 2 gift cards or even some cash if you desire. The paper has been flying in the craft room as of late. Several new tutorials coming out so be sure to check back. Have a wonderful day!

FS407 Snowman fun

This weeks Featured Stamper 407 is Cheryl aka Cheryl l Rowley!  Cheryl has a fantastic gallery with loads of creativity. Hard to choose what to case but I finally decided on My Favorite Mo Image to case. I kept with the over all layout, a snowman, plaid like background and changed stamp, colors added ribbon and button bow.

I adore this snowman from Whipper Snapper called Snow is Overrated. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. I die cut the main image with Spellbinders Circles and layered onto Decorative Labels Thirty Four cut in lavendar card stock. Tied a ribbon with a button twine combo and snowflakes die cut with added button. Of course you can't forget a little bit of glitter on the snow, and voila! Hope you enjoy your week Cheryl!

Happy Couple

I have to tell you I bought this stamp for two reasons. First it is totally cute and makes me think of my sweet husband.  :-)  Second is the totally fun name, Mercedes & Benz! How fun is that name for a stamp? It was a must have just for those reasons alone. hee hee

They are stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. They are sharing a scarf as you can see or you an color it where they each have their own. I liked it as one.  ;-)  Very simple design and layers for this card today. The card base has a Spellbinders die cut using A2 bracket Borders One. I also did an edge with the same set for the designer paper to match up. Two sequins for the corner and tied my sentiment off with a button and silver cord combo. Voila!  Enjoy today everyone!

This designer paper is from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day paper pack. Added a ribbon bow with some sequins (yes I am addicted to these things) and a sentiment circle. Voila!

The football season is coming to an end for the kids. Sorta bummed as they only had 8 games. However we won't be bored for long as in just a week basketball starts. No rest for the weary they say!  ;-)  They are excited to play basketball this year and all the fun it will bring. Hope you are having a wonderful week!

Let It Snow

Now how stinkin cute is he? Love this stamp called Snow Is Over Rated. Now when you are in your house all nice and cozy what do you see outside in December? That's right snowmen and snow. This fits the Dirty Dozen Challenge this month with Window in/out at Christmas. My snowman is stamped on Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colored with various Copic markers. I used vellum to create some snow drifts and added stickles to the top for sparkle. My sentiment is from Sentimental Christmas that is stamped directly on the vellum. Some sparklers for the sides and voila!  Adorable and yet another Christmas card done. Whohoo!!! Have a fabulous day.

Colored with copic markers. I have added stickles to his body and had. My snowflakes have a little bit of faux stitching added to the centers. Easy peasy. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Snowman and Snowflakes

I made this last week for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge and the Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge. I got my new Whipper Snapper Stamps in the mail, whohoo!!! They are all snowmen, hee hee!! This one is called Beckham, isn't he adorable? Created this for the CAS 204 challenge and the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I messed up and put the snowflakes on the front instead of the back, hope that is okay? I do love how it turned out.
For the DD Christmas obviously the new is the stamp and I went with Blue's again, and the old is my snowflake dies and honestly I can't remember where I bought the dies from. EEK!! I know horrible, but I am trying to use them more! I stamped Beckham onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored him with various copic markers and then popped his panel up on dimensionals. Added some sparklers to the snowflake dies and voila!
If you missed my exciting news and give away check out this thread HERE! Good Luck!
