CDS Sneaks Day Two

Welcome to day two of Clear Dollar Stamps March releases. Again these sets will all be available on March 1st at the CDS Store found here.
The tractor set is so fun and great for those masculine cards I love to make. This set is called Got Tractor. I kept it simple just added a few brads and done.
The pearly beauty to the right is called Old time Church. This card is also made for Sketches by Tamara found here. My time with sketches has drawn to an end. I had a lot of fun and I appreciate being part of the team! Thank you again Tamara.

Valentine Sketch

Its time for sketches by tamara. You can find the sketch here and play along with us. I am almost finished with my Valentines day cards only have a few more to go. Yea... Valentines is my second favorite holiday. I just love hearts of any kind. :0) I used my Birds on the Vines stamp set from Flourishes. I stamped the image and then used a marker to colors some of the birds red rather than the pink. I like how this turned out. Thanks for stopping by!

My Fairytale

Broke out an old set for this sketch. This is sketch 79 for sketches by tamara blog. I used this set so much when I first got it and now I just don't ever use it much anymore. First sketch of the New Year

I hope you have had a wonderful and happy New Year so far. This is Sketches by Tamara first sketch for the New Year. Yea! I have had the hardest time getting my purple based cards to photo lately and I am not sure why.

This sentiment is so encouraging and perfect for the sketch. This is from the Jan. New Releases from Our Daily Bread designs called Lift up our Hands. This is a wonderful set. I know I will be using is quite often. You can see all the cards made so far with these new sets here.

Sketch 75

This is the last sketch of the year for Sketches by tamara. I love these little elf guys from Close to my heart. I added a lot of sparkle to the snow. Speaking of snow it looks like there is dirt on my card, but their is snow on our window outside and I couldn't get it to come off. So the shadow from the outside light is coming through on the card. Gggrrr... So so sorry. School is cancelled today becuase we got a ton of snow last night on top of the stuff we had already. So I get to stamp more. hee hee Hope you get to play along with us. Its Thursday and time for a sketches by tamara. This weeks was interesting and I think turned out great. I even got to use scraps again from the bin. Riley sketch 73

I can't believe its Thursday already. This weeks sketchs by tamara is pretty simple. However I had the hardest time not only with the card but the stinkin picture too. I had the sun out, but too much sun. You can see all my snowflakes have a blob in the center, well they really aren't like that. But the sun picked it up for some reason. Sheesshh... I got this adorable Riley stamp from my friend Angel. She is so sweet, thanks Angel. Off to check blogs and SCS today, the boys have half day so I get to play a little. hee hee Have a wonderful day!

Birthday jems 71

Oh my goodness... I am sure that I am total jet lag and so I had this set to auto post. I am hoping that they have all been doing that while I am gone. This is for sketches by tamara 71 I pulled out some basic grey dp and Garden silhouette by SU for this one. I kept it pretty simple since it was late when I was making this card. Kind of dark picture because I had to take it at night along with my HM from the other day. Come play along and check out the other DT cards.

Sketch 70 Elk anyone???

Happy Thursday and since I am at Disney World I am having this auto post. Hopefully it worked, I guess I will find out when I get back. This is sketch 70 for sketches by tamara I really liked this sketch and I like how this turned out. The colors were kind of different for me, but went with it and tada... Sketch 69 Pimp my Ride

This weeks sketch for sketches by tamara is very simple and can be done several ways. So I was flipping through the channels and came across this show called Pimp my Ride. They take these old beater cars that people own and totally deck them out to the hilt. I mean OVERBOARD these cars. So that was my inspiration for this one. I have an old faded, paint missing sort of car. I *pimped* it as they would say with the (pretend here) diamonds around the car and the steering wheel. I have a brand new paint job and oh yeah some 10 inch speakers in the back. Bawhahaha..

Anyways.. then I have these darling little snowmen that just make me giggle and smile. I just love snowmen stamps and this is a fav of mine. I added sparkle to make it look like snow on the tops.

I am working on Birthday and Christmas cards a lot lately. I am out of birthday and have a few that I need for some friends orders. And well Christmas is the same way. So hope noone is bored with them yet. hee hee

The birds are black I know they are dull in the picture but I can't seem to get a lot of good sun lately. Its usually while I am not home that it comes out. Grrr.... This is a set from Flourishes call Birds on Vines and I love it. I keep forgetting to put links to companies I will try to make sure I do that.

Wisemen Sketch 66

Good morning! Here are a few cards with another new set that I haven't gotten to play with a lot. The top card is this weeks sketch for Sketches by Tamara Tamara is still having trouble with her computer so it might not be on the site. We are hoping that it gets fixed soon.

The other two cards are ones I made the other day when a friend was over and we had some laughing and stamping time. It was a wonderful day and its too long between days like those.

Busy as always this time of year so my cards are coming less and less inbetween times. I hope you can bare with me. I know a few are wondering if I am alive between Mondays and Thursdays... Christmas Sketch 65

Its Thursday and that means time for a sketch for Sketches by Tamara This sketch was so much fun. The DT came out with again some awesome cards. Make sure to check them out and play along with us! The sample was intended for a 3x3 but we could do any size we wanted. I made mine a 4 x 4 and I think I will be making more of these for this years cards.

I used the new in color from SU called Red riding hood and I LOVE it. Two of the snowlakes are cut out and popped up the rest are just stamped on the cardstock. This is one of my favorite snowflake sets from CTMH.

Been crazy around here and not a lot of stamping or computer time. I hope to get some more cards done to show you with some new rubbah I got.

Some fun and excited news.... We are going to DISNEY WORLD in November. Never been to any of the Disney's so I am SO EXCITED. The twins are going to be on over load but it will be so much fun. We are going with some good friends of our and their kids. So it should be a lot of fun. So my spending is on hold so we can save now for all the toys and goodies we want to buy and bring home. hee hee

Sketch 64 Fallen Snow

Snow... I love the snow as long as I am home with a cup of cocoa and nothing to do for the day. hee hee Happy Thursday. Its time for a sketch for Sketchs by Tamara This is 64 and it is a circle card. How fun, but oh so much more complicated at least for me. I do like how this turned out. This is one of my favorite snowflake sets. Its from Close to my heart, and its just awesome. I added some pearls to the flakes and it just adds that extra little bit to them I think.

Soft Joy

Happy Thursday! What a morning already! sheessh... Okay first off here is sketch 62 for Sketches by Tamara This sketch has so many options. I chose a soft side to Christmas this time around. I used my set from Flourishes (surprise surprise) that is called Rejoice. You can find that here. I don't have the fancy die cuts for the scallop borders so don't look too close, I had to use my scissors to make the border. hee hee Its a great sketch and the DT cards are awesome! Second... I got a cell phone.. YEAH... its been about 4 years since I have had one and we will see how much use I get out of it. I only used it like once a week before. I am hoping I will use it more now, since it got a fortune. EEK... But its super cool and does all kinds of stuff that well.... I have no clue about. But DH is giving me the crash course on how to use it. LOL
