Birthday love

Morning. I started this card before we went on vacation and finally got it posted yesterday morning for the sketch challenge. Didn't turn out like I had planned but it will have to do. I used the image from Under Glass for the little squares. Colored with Copic markers and then cut around the image and popped up on dimensionals.

Then I stamped a sentiment to the right with some sequins and sparkle to finish it off. Here is the sketch at a glance SC911. Have a great day.

Birthday ride

Birthday ride today using an oldie but a goodie from long ago called Classic Rides. This set has not been dusted off in so long. When looking at all the older cards I made I really want to just revamp a few of the older ideas I created with using the set. However I don't have time to do that. ha  I flipped this on the side and it was perfect for the low ride truck in the set. Colored with various Copic markers and sponged around the edge of the panels.

Love this designer paper from a ODBD pack for the guys. A few brads and voila!

2022 Graduations

Morning! It is that time of year again for graduation cards. Honestly did not have the feel for this years cards and I feel bad. This did not turn out how I wanted but it will work. I die cut the numbers and used  a star for the 0 to match the embossed background. Added just a bit of sparkle to the star and stamped congrats on the inside. Easy this year.

This week sketch at a glance SC909. I did mess up and made my white panel too long for the base.  ;-(

SC906 21st Birthday

Good morning! Using another one of the Stamping bella's that I got a few weeks ago called Beer Gnomes. So cute don't you think? They are colored with various Copic markers and layered onto blue base. Die cut the 21 and balloons for the birthday celebration they are having. Stamped the sentiment above the balloons and voila! Easy Peasy.

SC905 Blue Birthday Blooms

Happy Wednesday! Behind in my birthday cards again this year. Sometimes I wonder where the time goes anymore. This is a quick one with the designer floral paper doing all the work. No coloring makes for quick cards too. Die cut a few pennants for the layers behind the birthday sentiment.

Voila! Easy Peasy and a birthday card done. Here is a glance at this week's SC905 sketch.

SC901 Birthday Blooms

Good morning! Today I am using another of the new embossing folders I got a few weeks back of these leaves and I just love the feel of them as the background with these blooms. I stamped and colored each of the blooms with Copic markers and then I cut around them to pop up on the base.

These blooms are from Abundant Petals stamp set that is not available anymore but still a favorite. I added a birthday sentiment to the vellum panel and two enamel dots to cover the glue dots used to hold it in place. Some sparkles to the petals and voila! Springy and fresh feeling I think.

SC900 Help comes from the Lord

Good morning. Missed the last few sketches so I am glad to be back in the stamp room. This was simple sketch, but I had a hard time coming up with an idea. I believe this stamp is no longer available and called Be encouraged. This is a new embossing folder to be that I just now am playing with. I added the same color to the center of the flowers.

Die cut a few flowers to added to the sentiment panel. A jewel center and voila!

SC897 Butterfly thanks

Morning. This paper pack has all different hues of blue and I just love it. It is called Glamour from Authentique and I can't remember when I got it. Probably years ago but still have several sheets left. This was perfect for my card today to show a few of the designs in the pack.

I stamped these butterflies out from Pure Prairie Spirit stamp set which is not available now but, we do have a digital version. Colored with Copic markers then I cut around them to pop up on dimensionals. Then added some shimmers to make them shine and it looks so much better in real life. I had trouble getting that to show in the photo but its there. Voila!

Here is the sketch at a glance. Hope you can play along with us this week.

SC896 Coffee and Friends

This pack of paper is so pretty and the coffee theme is perfect with the colors. The paper pack is called Coffee with Friends from Echo Park and I bought it months ago and just now am using it. No stamping on this card at all as I used the paper to my advantage.

I added the layers for each piece and then added sparkle to the base swirls and the cups on the one panel and the words coffee on the sentiment panel. Three brads added to the green stripped panel and voila. This came together very quick and easy today.

Here is the SC896 Sketch at a glance. Hope you can play along with us.

Here is another one that uses only the designer paper from the same pack. Added a little bit of a die cut flourishes behind the sentiment panel. Added some sparkle and a few scatters sequins for accents. Voila

SC895 Bliss Tidings for March

Morning. The plan was to get more stamping time in and well that hasn't happened as much. Just be happy I get what time I do get I guess. Anyways this was using stamp set Amaryllis Bliss but only the digital version called Amaryllis is available. I do love coloring these petals. I sized the image panel up first knowing I was going to have to cut it. Then colored with various Copic markers.

Found a tutorial to follow for the cutting of the shapes and did okay not as great as I wanted. Then added them to the base layer. A little bit of stickles and some jewels. Voila

Here is the Sketch Challenge SC895 at a glance. Hope you can play along this month.

SC894 Fathers day float

Morning! Figure might as well start on the Father's day cards and get those done. Yes I know it is after Mother's day but I like to work on masculine cards first. ha!  This is using an old set that is no longer even in business. It was called Guiding Light one of my favorite guy go to sets. Stamped and colored with various Copic markers. Then cut out so I could pop up on dimensionals.

The fun edges on this were a little difficult but I think I got it correct and my Antique map fit pretty good for the background. Added suduko gel pen to the lines for shimmer looks really cool in real life. Textured the base and added some seaguls behind the boat and sequins to finish if off. Voila!

Here is sketch SC894 at a glance. Enjoy!

SC893 Pink and girlie

Happy Wednesday are you ready for another Sketch Challenge? Grabbed this fun gal for my card since I have not used her in awhile. She is from Stamping bella called Uptown girl Fiona loves flowers. I think I have only used her like once or twice before. Went with a lot of pink for this one because of who it is for. My designer paper is from a ODBD pack that was perfect with her flowers.

Colored using Copic markers and die cut with a simple circle. The flowers were layered and the edges folded out for dimension and pearl centers with some sparkle added to the petals. Very girlie and very pink for my taste but I know they will love it. hee hee

SC892 Celebrate

Good morning! This weeks sketch challenge was rather straight forward and honestly I am not sure this turned out how I thought it would. The jury is still out but I did get in the stamp room so we are good. :-)  Only stamping I actually did was the sentiment on this with a sentiment from Bough Wow Wow.

The designer papers were from the scrap box and a simple circle punch. Added some texture with the awesome never go out of style swiss dots for the background. A little bit of sparkle around the edges and  Voila!

Here is a picture of the SC892 Sketch and hope you can play along this week!
