September Christmas Challenge

Welcome to the September Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge. You can find this months challenge in the forum over on the SCS found HERE . I actually just tied up the last of the 2021 season idea and I am pretty excited for next year. Yet we still have sometime left for our current year, thankfully. 

My creation is using the snowman called Snowman with Birdhouse from Serendipity. He is so cute and in the purple hues I think he turned out perfect. 

I colored with various Copic marker shades if purple. The base designer paper is from a new pack to me called ODBD Christmas Collection 2019. I like all the purple and blue hues in that pack. Added a scallop piece to the edge and some ribbon with a bow. Pierced the edges of the main panel and added some sparkle and my sentiment. Voila! Hope you can play along with us this month. FS457 Angelic Snowman

This weeks Featured Stamper 457 is Mhines. Exciting gallery with so many gift sets you would of thought for sure that is what I had chosen to case. That was my intention however time did not allow for that today. Instead this Angels Among us card stood out to me with the soothing colors and design. I kept the oval shape and framing, colors, single image and simplicity.  Changed the papers, stamps and ribbons. Enjoy your week!

Instead of an angel I used this darling snowman called Snowman with birdhouse from Serenidipity stamps. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. My paper is from Basic Grey 25th and pine paper pack for the background. Added some lace trim and ribbon behind the image panel. A favorite Spellbinders die for the card frame and some stickles to wrap it up. Voila! Have a wonderful day!

Good morning. How was your weekend? Hopefully it was nice and relaxing. I had some family in town that we don't see often so it was nice to hang out with them for a bit. Over all rather relaxing for us which was super nice. 

Last week I received my new Serendipity stamps that I ordered and this is one of them called Horn of plenty. A beautiful fall center piece image I think. Figured I really should have a few more fall like stamps in my collection, plus I ordered a new snowman. hee hee  Serendipity has a monthly challenge and October is something new. Well that is perfect since these are all new, so I played along. I stamped the image onto white card stock and colored with Copic markers and a simple mat onto chocolate card stock. My designer paper is layered using kraft and a heart Die-light trim. A simple layer of piercing around the edge and my sentiment tag and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!
