Sweet Avery

Morning. I used the designer paper from the other day when I was colored flowers for this card. It seems to go very well with little Avery May Flowers digi that I haven't used forever. She is just darling don't you think?

She is colored with various Copic markers and then added to a scallop edge panel. Embossed a stitched edge for the designer paper and added my image panel. A button and twine combo for the sentiment tag and then some sparkles to her socks and dress. Voila!

Buzzing by today

This is a digi that I bought and had yet to print as I find there is quite a few I have printed. I tend to forget about them but can work to print and color later. Might need to do that so they get used.
This is was called Beelieve in Blessings from Sassy Cheryl's stamps. I was going to color his shirt red but I went with blue as I love blue as most know. He is colored with various Copic markers and a simple score around the border.

Before I layered him onto the base I added some twine wrapped around the fence die cut and a few die cut heart button shapes to added to the front. Also a few die cut clouds and some sparkle finish this off. Voila! Thanks for buzzing by.  ;-)

Maddie's a reindeer

How about a Christmas card today? I barely squeeked by with enough last year and this year I need to make sure that doesn't happen again. This is from Sassy Cheryl's that is closed now but I did buy a few before the doors closed. This is Maddie's Red Nosed Reindeer. She is super cute right?

When I was trying to get into the groove again I always stick with easy card designs and coloring. Her image panel was popped up on dimensionals after she was colored. I added a scrap of designer paper to the base with a little bit of kraft to pull in the brown on her suit. Some sparkle added to her shoes, nose and the neck piece. Tied a silver cord into the button and added the sentiment. Voila. Turned out super cute I think. Thanks for stopping by.

Franken cute

This adorable guy is called Frankie's Pet Bat. He is printed and colored with various Copic markers. A simple black backing for the image panel.

The background is a spider web that I drew and added the die cut fence to the bottom with the sentiment. Added a die cut arrow with a button accent. Super cut fella that my nephew will love. Have a great day.

Star slugger

Is this not the cutest little baseball player? Oh my goodness this is from Sassy Cheryl's digital stamps called Home Run Hitter. Also got another little baseball guy that is sitting here to be colored. Bought these months ago and had time to play with them finally. He is colored with various Copic markers then I pierced around his image panel.

Added a little bit of texture to the blue layer as the red layer has a small texture already in the card stock. Wrapped some twine around the layers before adding to the base. Stamped my sentiment and added a Die light die cut (retired) and a button to the center. Top it off with a little sparkle to his hat and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Colin's in K5

Good morning. It is hard to believe but my nephew is starting K5 this coming week. It seems like just the other day he was born. His mom and him went school shopping for all his supplies and his favorite thing is his lunch box.  :-)  What a sweetie. I created a card for his first day using and old one from Sassy Cheryl's called Pencil Nerds

This piece of chalk board like background I have had forever waiting to use with a school like theme card. Yea! Layered onto some red paper and pierced around the edges. I then grabbed a few old dies for the base and the accents. My little guy is colored with various Copic markers and then I added the number and letter onto the star. Voila! I will surely get a hug and I love you Aunt Stacy which is always the way to my heart. hee hee   Hope you have a wonderful day.

We've got this...

This is a new from Sassy Cheryl's collection called Bunny Assistants. Too fun! This was perfect for an encouraging card that I need to hand out. A simple design as I colored the image and then die cut with a stitched rectangle.

Added a bit of gingham paper and a scallop edge to the bottom. Wrapped a piece of orange ribbon above the gingham edge and tie a twine bow with a button. A little bit of sparkle and voila!

Flat bottom is the new in

Good morning. Like that title today? ha ha  That title is because this adorable guy is called Flat Bottom Snowy and  I bought him before we left for Hawaii. Didn't get a chance to play with him before we left so I colored him up this weekend. He makes me smile... most snowmen do that though.  :-)

This green ribbon and the green designer paper were hanging out of the bins and I thought I would focus on that and pink for my colors. The base has some piercing around the edges and then I also wrapped some lace trim ribbon that I have had for awhile too. A snowflake die cut from the scrap bin with a few buttons and twine for the centers. Added some sparkle and voila! First snowmen of the new year. Yea! Thanks for stopping by today.

Warm furry hugs

I will admit I am enjoying all my snowmen that I just got. This is yet another one that is so CUTE! That tiny pup just makes me giggle... He is called Man's Best Friend and he is an older one from Sassy Cheryl's but new to me.

The designer paper was my color focus for this card using the pink hearts and the teal-ish like base.
Added some sequins and sparkle accents and my sentiment punched out with a circle. Voila!
Easy Peasy! Hope you have a GREAT weekend!

You're my cup of cocoa

Ack! Isn't he adorable? Another "new to me" snowman  called A Frosty Cup Of Cocoa from Sassy Cheryl's. This weekend I played on WCMD and got several creations done. Not to mention some shopping for new snowmen. hee hee  You should see my "cart" at Whipper Snapper. ha ha  My new goodies arrived from The Stamp Ribbon Store from Sharon's newest release AND I ordered some new CTMH goodies. What am I thinking??? Sometimes I can't help myself. Anyways... onto my adorable new fat guy. :-)

My stack of designer paper never seems to twindel and my goal (as usual) is to start using it more. With that being said I plan to use more of it and have that be my color choice for cards. Especially since I tend to get in a rut. Blindly choose this paper from the pile. Squeel!  I love blues, lucky me. ha ha!  Anyways, colored him with Copic markers and added sparkle to his gloves, hat and scarf. A few die cut snowflakes to the corners and a sentiment from a Sweet n Sassy stamp set and a brad or two. Voila!

Yep had to use another snowman for my card. We are getting closer to December and I like to ink up most all my snowmen each year. I got two new ones this weekend too. yippee! This is a digital one  from Sassy Cheryls called Just Chillin. Colored with various Copic markers and layered with designer papers and solid colors. Die cut a heart edge for the panel across and a few die cut snowflakes. Added sequins and some sparkles to finish it off. Voila!

Birthday dad

Good morning! Hopefully you had a great weekend. Besides the boys beating a team in Football that they have NEVER beaten before in the school history, I got to stamp a little bit. Win win for everyone.  :-)  Curtis and Nathan's stats from the game were AWESOME! Oh my word they are playing so good. The team is playing hard this year and it shows. Anyways, you didn't come to hear about how great they are did you? hee hee

This fun guy is from Sassy Cheryl's called All About Dad. Isn't he a hoot? After he was printed I colored him with Copic markers and die cut with a retired tag shape. Used scraps of designer paper for the background and my color choices. Die cut some balloons and my birthday sentiment. Voila! Thanks for stopping by.

Surprise birthday

Morning! Another birthday card for you today using one from Sassy Cheryl's called Let's Party. I am not sure this one is going to be around much longer, so better get it while you can. She is retiring some of her older ones to bring in new. She was too cute to pass up.

The designer paper was my color choice today. Vibrant and fun just what a birthday card should be. The balloon is a ODBD Balloon and Streamers die cut that I added some sparkle too along with the confetti and her hat. Rounded the top right corner panel and sentiment panel to tie them together and a button twine combo for the sentiment panel. Voila!

Sending puppy love

Is this guy just not totally cute? He is called Do It Up Right from Sassy Cheryl's and perfect for my sister's card today. She got a new puppy a few weeks ago and needless to say he is learning what he can do and not do still. I think she is loving the new fur baby but overly tired as well. She will get a kick out of this though.

Not much to explain other than he is colored with Copic markers and then layered onto matching brown card stock. I pierced around the edges of the designer paper before layering it onto the card back. Added an old CTMH hardware piece to the edge and a paw print to the image panel. Easy Peasy today! Have a wonderful day.

Puppy Notes

Good morning. I thought I would give the "fur" technique a try on this furry little guy called With Love...Bella. I think it turned out pretty good for my first try. I might of blended it a little too much but you can still see it a bit.

Over all the design of this did not turn out like I had originally pictured in my head.  Still I did get some time in the stamping room so I am happy. The kitchen counters and back splash are complete, yea! I just need to get some photo's posted soon. So be on the look out for those. Thanks for stopping by!

Dracula Boo...

This little guy is for my sweet nephew's Halloween card. This is Count Dracula Noah isn't he just darling? My sister will appreciate this cute guy. He was batman last year not sure what he plans to be this year. So much fun when they are young.

Count Noah was a new digi to me that I bought a few weeks back and finally got to use. He is colored with various Copic markers and then die cut with a basic circle die and layered onto a scalloped circle. This fence is a retired one from Whiff of Joy that is a halloween fence die cut that I think I have used a few times. Some faux stitching around the edge and my little pumpkin candy bag that I stamped off a House Mouse and popped onto the card. Voila!

Chunky ho ho ho

These snowman are too fun and so chubby. This is Ho ho ho Snowmen from Sassy Cheryl's and one of my new snowman for the year. Usually I buy 2-3 new snowman stamps each year but this year I went with a digi for the first one.  Haven't found my other new ones yet.

Easy peasy design with just a Spellbinders frame and a heart die cut border. A few die cut snowflakes and sparkles to finish if off. Voila!

A kiss for my prince

Good morning. This is the last digi in the set I bought from Sassy Cheryl's a few weeks back. I am very proud of myself for using all in the collection that I bought as I tend to not use everything I buy these days. My goal this year was to start using all I buy and go back to older sets to use more often. So far so good... keeping my fingers crossed. Anyways... this is Avery finds her prince

After I colored the image a simple piercing around the edge for a border. Some designer paper for the layers and faux stitching to match the pierced border. Added a white fence die cut and some flowers to match. Some sequins and voila! So easy and just darn right cuteness I think. I hope you have a wonderful day!
