~~~Blooming News~~~ Check out the Power Poppy Blog for the "special" pricing, if you buy the Stamp AND the Matching die. Exciting!!!!
Now this Tiger Lily XL is AWESOME! The fun I am having with this flower is exciting. Here is my first creation a box with a belly band wrap around. My youngest sister actually asked me to make two give boxes for the teachers for my nephew's class. This is one of them with my Tiger Lily in 3D form.  :-)  Doesn't that just grab you and say wow! The flower is stamped out twice on cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I think cut around each peal and into the center to roll out the leaves a little bit for dimension.
Here you can see the peals are separated out a little bit more with the bell band removed from the box. It just slides on and off pretty easy. The box was created with the Gift Box Envelope Punch Board an 11 x 11 size piece of designer paper from SU long ago. It is very velvety and pretty I think with the flower.
 The Tiger Lily is popped up in the center with dimensionals and the flower center the same thing. Added a few leaves to the bottom and sparkles to finish it off. I have one more to make this same way yet a different color and hope to have a tutorial for you soon. Until then hope you have enjoyed the new releases this month.
Basket of carrots
This is a fun little treat basket that uses the Envelope Punch Board. I have to say I sure have enjoyed creating with this the last few weeks. There are so many things you can do with it and I haven't even gotten to all the ones I have pinned yet. ha ha  If you have the board and want to create your own basket, check out my Basket Tutorial
This one has some chocolate carrots inside which are almost gone mind you.  ;-)  This beautiful flower is using the single bloom in Simply Camillas that is layered a few times using dimensionals and adhere to the side of the basket. How cute is that! Hope you have a great weekend!
Lilac Gift Set
Happy Friday! You still have time to play in our Power and Spark Challenge. Check out all the details HERE! Hope you can play along!
Today I am going to share with you a gift set that I made for a friend. Well I am going to show you one of the cards, the rest you have to wait for.  ;-)  This box was super easy to create using the Envelope Punch Board. I have a tutorial if you have one want to create your own box. Check out my Envelope Box tutorial and create your own gift set. I sure am enjoying this board since I dusted it off a few weeks ago. All the things you can make with it are awesome.
Our newest French Lilac set is a beautiful drawing of Marcy's and one that I have colored several of already. The front I have delicately cut around the blooms and added them to the front of the box. The wood grain paper makes this look cool with the Lilac I thought. Added a circled punch thank you sentiment from the set Dynamic Duos: Glad and Gerberas. A sheer ribbon bow with a few sequins. Voila. My first card in the set has a button twine wrapped around the bottom that is also die cut with a spellbinders die you will see later. Easy Peasy and what a fun gift set! Thanks for stopping in today.
Envelope Surprise with Envelope Punch Board
Supplies:
Envelope Punch Board, adhesive, scissors, card stock and  treat
Step 1:
Cut a piece of card stock 5 inch x 5 inch. Place edge on Envelope Punch Board at 2 3/8 inch marker. Score card stock. Turn and score along the remaining 3 sides at 2 3/8 inch. The right shows what all 4 sides should look like. Hard to see all 4 sides with the glare. You will notice that the score lines do not go all the way to the edge of the paper. Simply finish the score lines to the edges.
Step 2:
When you have scored the lines to the edge you will see tiny triangles. Cut the tiny triangles out as shown on the right
Step 3:
Score 1/8 inch on each of the 4 panels. You can use the EPB and eye ball it like I do or use a score pal board. With all 4 sides scored you should see this to the right. Pre-fold all your scored lines to help create box
Step 4:
Place glue dot in the center and fold in side panels. Add adhesive to the bottom panel and fold towards center. Fill with treat and finish decorating as desired. Since this is for a school project I used a glue dot to hold top flap closed. You can use velcro for a reusable open and close, a button and twine combination. Options are wide open for you.
Step 5:
Here is my final envelope surprise with treat inside. Wrapped twine around the paper panels, added a stamped Heart die cut to the center with a button twine bow. Easy and fun for Valentines day. The box can be created for any size using the Envelope Punch Board. What a great feature on the board for a bonus. Enjoy!
Envelope Surprise
Good morning! I mentioned last week or the week before that I was cleaning out the craft room and I found the Envelope Punch Board and dusted it off. I got to playing and created a fun Valentine treat.
 This is my Envelope Surprise! You can check out the tutorial and create your own Envelope Surprise if you want.  ;-)  Very easy peasy and would make great treats for the class room or even the bible study girls as this has the delicious Ghiradeli chocolate inside, yumo!  The stamp on the front is a retired stamp set that I dusted off called Heart Hugs. Die cut using Hearts Die light and wrapped some twine and button for the bottom. Voila! Have a wonderful day.
Baby Tri-Fold creation
Good morning! I have another creation using the Envelope Punch Board for you. This is a baby card that I created with a Tri-Fold Tutorial if you are interested in creating your own. This little guy is called Dream Puff from House Mouse stamps. I added a bit of sparkle to the cotton ball he is napping on. This card makes me smile it is super sweet, don't you think? I have him stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. I then used a few different ovals from Spellbinders to created the shapes. Added two flowers to the bottom corner.
 This is the inside when you fold it open. I have a tag with a sentiment on the bottom as well as in the middle pocket. The two pockets on the end will hold gift cards for the new mom to be. Isn't this adorable? The punched stars are a die that I totally forgot where it came from. Sorry!  A few pearl brads in the corner and lace trim around the edge. Voila!
I have been having fun with the Envelope Punch Board. Be sure to check back in for more creations. Have a wonderful day.
Rosey birthday fun
Do you ever buy something and then wonder when you will have the time to play with it?  ha ha  Well I purchased the Envelope Punch board a few weeks back and finally had a chance to play around with it. I have a few creations to share with you along with a few tutorials for those wanting some ideas.
This first one is a Fun Fold Tutorial if you want to create your own using ODBD Blushing Rose Paper collection. I like the romantic feel of these papers don't you? My tag is created using ODBD Custom Recipe and Tag die with the birthday sentiment from Smell the Roses stamp set. Wrapped some rich burgundy ribbon to keep the card closed and to tie off my tag. Voila! Hope you have time to create your own fun fold card today.
