Creating again

Good morning. Been awhile since I posted on the blog or even created much. Life has been exciting and busy, which is positive.  My crafting has taken a back seat but hoping to revive it once again. Over the last few weeks I colored and created the below. Forgive me for not putting links and such. I am just happy to get something posted. :-)

This first one was using Bountiful Blessings. Stamped the sentiment along the side panel and some designer paper down the left side. Sparkles and such was added but hard to see in the picture.

Birthday card using Fly Guy. Man do I need to work on a few things, rusty! ;-)  Simply wrapped some twine around the base layers and sparkle added to the water.

This is using Tiger Lily Xl, still one of my favorite flowers. Top layer is popped up for dimensional. Faux stitched border around the edge. Sparkles of course on the petals.

Several baby cards needed for the coming week. Using several stamps from Crafters Companion. Older die cuts from a company no longer in business. Faux stitching around the edges and some sparkles.

Another this one a boy card. Same info just different colors.

I have to say my favorite baby one that I created using this guy from Whimsy Stamps. He just makes me smile. Added ribbon, some more sparkles and dies.
Well hopefully I won't wait a year to post again. But for now, hope you are doing well and God is being a blessing to you! Have a great day.

Baby bunny

Good morning. Another baby card for you using Built With Love from Crafter's Companion. I think this might be retired since I am not able to find it? I just got this a few months ago and finally inked it up. Sheesshh... I need to stamp faster I guess. ha ha

Might be a little too much sparkle on the blocks but what the hey its a baby card. hee hee  I added faux stitching around the white base panel. The designer paper is from my scrap bin and perfect for the color combo. This is for my friend Ali who is not finding out the sex of the baby... so neutral colors. Added a scalloped edge to the bottom of the designer paper and a few tiny buttons to finish it off. Voila! Thanks for stopping by today.

Bundle of Joy

Happy Monday and snow day for school again. Whohoo!! The boys are making good money shoveling all the neighbors drive ways. I have to say that I shoveled our drive way twice yesterday and it will need it again today. We have freezing rain later today so I guess we will have to wait. In the meantime I will just spend sometime in the stamp room.  :-)

How about a sweet baby card for starters? This is Bundle of Joy from Crafter's Companion that I ordered months ago and I finally inked it up. I colored using various Copic markers and then die cut using Lil inkers Stitched rectangles die. A simple panel embossed with swiss dots on top of the designer paper from my pile that needs to be used up. A few buttons with twine and some sparkle added to the blanket. Voila!
One of the Christmas gifts I received this year was some water colored pencils and water color paper. After several videos on water coloring with pencils I am going to give it a try today. Wish me luck.  :-)  Have a wonderful day.

Perfect Couple

Morning! I bought this set called Perfect Couple from Crafters Companion months ago and just now inked it up. These guys are so cute aren't they? I have them stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Added some textures to the back panel down the right side and some scrap heart paper behind the bunnies. A simple button and twine combo for the corner and my heart with some red sparkles. Easy peasy today. Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Boy Lukins

Hello! One of the coaches is ready to have their first baby here in a few weeks. It has been awhile since I created a baby card, I almost feel lost. ha ha  This is a new stamp that I bought several months ago and just now inked up. GASP!!! There is actually a few of these baby bunnies that I bought just for baby cards that haven't seen ink yet. Here is a start with a baby boy card.

This is from Crafter's Companion called Bebunni Baby. I stamped him on white cardstock and colored him with various Copic markers. Yet again using my Lil' Inkers die cut matted rectangles because I love them and it looks awesome with baby cards. hee hee  Some designer paper that was in the stash for the base. Wrapped some ribbon and twine around the center panel. Finished it off with some sparkles and buttons. Voila. I sure hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by.

Ding Dong merrily on high

Good morning! I heard the first Christmas song played in the store this week. Oh my.... Not that I mind, but the actual Christmas decorations were out before Halloween for crying out loud. They get earlier and earlier every year. I like to create cards and gifts all year long but there is a line I draw for some of it.   :-)  My husband would beg to differ so we won't ask him! hee hee  Anyways... onto my creation today.

This is from Crafter's Companion called Christmas Carols. I think this mouse is so sweet with his music singing. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. My ever so talented friend Leslie created a super cool border with these Spellbinders dies, so I recreated it on this card. You can see Leslie's gorgeous creation HERE.  My designer paper is from Doodlebug Design Frosty Friends paper pack. Wrapped some ribbon around the base and tied off a button twine combo for the sentiment tag. Added some stickles to her fur coat and some sequin for fun. Voila!
