Contract, Misc and legal place holders

One of the girls needed something other than sticky notes for the clerk each week. I offered to make up something that she can put on the top and be a little bit prettier than the sticky notes. This was my idea and I think they turned out perfect for her.

A few stamp sets were used for these. The letters are from a CTMH set called Morgan's hand alphabet. Well I just had to buy the letters just for the name alone. hee hee  They were a pretty cursive font as well which was the main reason I bought the set.
The flowers are Soothing Sympathy, Peony Muse and Prairie Cheer.  The only embellishment that they have is some sparkles on them since she has to laminate them. They turned out perfect and she loved them, so my job is complete.  :-)  Thanks for stopping by today.

December Warm Winter Wishes

This months Dirty Dozen December Christmas challenge is the reveal for the year. What fun it has been. You can play along HERE

I finally got to play with my new stamp set from CTMH called Just Treats. Perfect for the tags I need to get finished. They are all using scraps of designer paper from the bin, which is super cool. Ribbon and buttons for the tag toppers. Popped up the centers on dimensionals and voila!

Birthday feathers

Morning! This is a birthday card for a friend who likes to hunt. Had to dig through my old CTMH stamp sets to find this one and ink it up.

Lots of layers and lots of faux stitching around the edges on this card. I do like the feel of the layers with the stitching kinda like a layered blanket. Anyways wrapped a little bit of sheer ribbon and regular around the middle panel. Added some sequins and my sentiment tag with yet again another old CTMH stamp set. Voila! Birthday feathers... Thanks for stopping by.

FS463 Snow friends

This weeks Featured Stamper 463 is Cheri aka cburry. Her gallery is so vibrant and colorful just what this cold and cloudy weather needs this week. I choose this Snowmen card to case. I will admit I see several snowman's in her gallery that I must have in my collection now. hee hee  I kept with the over all layout, snowmen, same paper and colors. Changed the snowman images, ribbon placement added jewels to the corner, stickles and a button and twine combo. Enjoy your week!

Dusted off this retired Close To My Heart stamp set called Snow Friends. These guys are just darling aren't they. Well, all my smowmen are adorable as I say often. hee hee  They are stamped onto white card stock and colored with Copics to match the designer paper in the background. Added some mesh ribbon and then overlay of ribbon with a button corner. Sparkles on the snowman, you can't have snowman and no sparkle. Voila! Have a fabulous day!

I didn't forget your birthday

This weeks Featured Stamper 423 is Chitra aka Chitra. Delightful gallery but this one really stood out at me called Happy Birthday. I kept the over all design, an elephant stamp and similar papers. Changed the colors, stamp and sentiment placement.

I pulled out this retired set from CTMH called Zoo Friends the other day and felt the need to use it again.  ;-)  This set is darling for kids cards. Easy peasy card too with just a little bit of designer paper. I have the elephant cut around and popped up on dimensionals. Simple and sweet. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy 1st Birthday Colin

Good morning! My nephew's first birthday is just around the corner and I had to create a fun filled card for him. Okay lets be honest he won't remember a thing but I know my sister will so it had to be good. These are some fun Overalls that I created. You can create your own with my Overalls Tutorial if you would like.

I will note that I did have to trim the right pant leg a little bit as it wasn't straight but I had already taken the picture before I realized it. ack! I hate that... This is an old Close To My Heart stamp set that is retired but one of my favorite for the kids. I added some stars die cuts along with buttons on the overalls. Then the birthday sentiment and the number 1. I think it turned out adorable! Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful day!

Birthday scene

Good morning! A quick guy card today for a friend. This would be his favorite birthday scene, not really mine. Unless you had a hot tub and a relaxing spa treatment to go with it looking out some large bay window. hee hee   This is an older set from Close To My Heart called Hunting that I am most certain is retired by now. This is one of the first sets I got long ago and pulled out to play with.
My Elk is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. A little diamond back textures and my sentiment on a twine tag. Voila!
Have a fabulous day!

Christmas Snowflakes

I made another creation for the Christmas Challenge on SCS. As a reminder we are now going to post the challenges each month in the Fan Club Forum so that everyone can see the challenge and play along each month. If you are not a Fan Club Member check it out, worth the small price and you get to see the Dirty Dozen galleries each month!
On to our first challenge of the new year. Christmas Wedding! Be inspired by the traditions of wedding with something Borrowed, Blue, Old or New. Use all three use only 1 you choose. Link up your creations to the thread in the FC Forum HERE. Be sure to put SCSCCJAN13 so we can find your creations as well. Now for my creation....
I pulled out an old set from Close To My Heart called New Fallen Snow. All the snowflakes in this set are beautiful and I always forget I have the set it seems. I stamped out one of the large snowflakes using Bliss Blue ink onto classic white cardstock.
My sentiment is stamped out with memento tuxedo black ink that I then die cut using Spellbinders ovals. The fancy tag is from one of the tag sets but I forgot which one, sorry. I then layered some lace trim on opposite sides and then my blue ribbon down the center for a bow. The snowflakes each have sparkle on them yet hard to see in the photo. Yea another card done for the year. ha!  Hope you have a fabulous day!

FS300 Snowman lineup

This weeks Featured Stamper 300 is Jen aka Jenmitchell. She has a very clean and simple gallery that is totally fun. Along with a lot of white space creations so I was in heaven. I chose this Reindeer card to case.
I don't have a small reindeer so I changed it to snowman with my Snow Friends set from Close To My Heart. This set might be retired as I can't seem to find it on the site now, sorry. The snowman are stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink and colored with various copics. Kept the layout but added an extra panel with the designer paper and added a snowflake ribbon combo with a pearl center. My snowman all have fairy dust added to them and the ground. I left the sentiment off and changed the colors. I love how fresh and clean this is, not to mention these snowman are totally CUTE! Hope you can play along with us this week! Have a great day!

I hope you had a great weekend. We finished up the sciene projects and they give the presentations today to the class. They are ready and looking awesome. So proud of the work they did, not to mention the work DH and I did to help. ha! My new set from Close To My Heart arrived and finally got to ink it up. This set is called He Is Risen. Beautiful set that I am glad I ordered. Ofcourse this lamb was perfect to go with the beautiful Pat prima's she made me. These I added a pearl center to and some pearls to the corners. The frame is made with Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM and popped that up on dimensionals. I really like how this turned out. Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Masculine Elk

I am working on a card request for a friend that needs some masculine cards. I am keeping them sentiment free incase she would like to use them for any occasion. This is the Hunting set from Close To My Heart I got years ago. I love all the animals in this set. The one above I used a cuttlebug folder that I hardly use but is so cool I think. Added a few brads and done.

I have a few layers to say the least on this card. I pierced around one of the panels and added a few brads. Turned out pretty good for a masculine cards.

Thanks for stopping in with me today! Be sure to check back on Friday for Flourishes pre-Challenge and your chance to win the May stamp release.

I added some blue silk ribbon and a few pearls. I popped up the Merry Christmas sentiment on an oval and voila all done. I love how this turned out. Have a wonderful day!!!

Two quick requests

A friend called late last night and needed two really quick cards for today. Talk about short notice, lol So these are very quick and simple cards. I pulled out two sets that I haven't used in awhile. This first one is using Make it Count from CTMH. I distressed the one panel behind the clock, sponged around the clock but not the center and made a background with the other images. Easy Peasy..
For this one I used my trusty ole set Lovely as a Tree from SU. I love these trees, they are perfect for any occasion. I stamped them in Old olive, then with my markers colored in some of the leaves. I have the tree panel up on dimensionals. Again Easy Peasy.

I took these pictures late last night on my stamping table so the picture is not great, but she came and got them last night. Maybe I need to make a planner for her. hee hee Kidding... Hope you have a wonderful day!

Sketch 75

This is the last sketch of the year for Sketches by tamara. I love these little elf guys from Close to my heart. I added a lot of sparkle to the snow. Speaking of snow it looks like there is dirt on my card, but their is snow on our window outside and I couldn't get it to come off. So the shadow from the outside light is coming through on the card. Gggrrr... So so sorry. School is cancelled today becuase we got a ton of snow last night on top of the stuff we had already. So I get to stamp more. hee hee Hope you get to play along with us. Leave a link on the sketches page so we can find your creations. Have a wonderful day!

Lets call him Frosty...

Hee hee.. I love that movie probably a movie I will never grow out of. This is for the Inspiration challenge found on SCS. I went with the snowman necklace and choose one of the colors in the background. I got my new CTMH set yesterday called All Decked out. Oh I LOVE it! Well I love all snowmen pretty much. My house is all decorated in snowmen of all kinds, shapes and sizes. This set has so many options. Totally fun and I plan on making a few more cards today. But we have outside lights, grocery shopping and errands to do first. I know... wish I could just stamp all day, but I can't. Hope you all have a wonderful and warm day!
