This first one has some soft woodgrain paper for the background. Die cut a heart border with some ribbon wrapped around with a bow. A few tiny pearls for the corner and voila.

Sunday lambs
Good morning. Dusted off a really old set called Loving Lambs to create the other day. I had to make myself sit down and crafts especially since we bought fathers day cards this year. Been a long time since I had bought a card. A good reminder to get ahead of the stash when its really low. Anyways...
This one I used a few of the scrap sizes from the next card to make a smaller one using the little praying lam. Textured the base layer and added some pearls to the corner. My sentiment is stamped along the side and yes it is not straight. ggrrr.. I usually don't stamp after I color but it was minimal I thought it would be fine. Guessed wrong.

Selection of cards
Happy Saturday. Been awhile since I posted I see my goodness. I have been creating when we aren't busy with other things. I do miss being able to post more often and hopefully will get back into it more. For now here are a few I actually took pictures of before I handed them out.
This set is called Wonderful In Everyway that is stamped on white cardstock. Colored with various Copic markers. I added some old close to my heart hardware to the edge and then some stickles to the petals.
Another one using Wonderful in Everyway that I cut around to pop up on dimensionals. Some swiss dots texture tot he base layer of white and some flourished jewels to the background. My sentiment tag is using a stamp that I forgot what it was from at the moment. Stickles around the petal edges only to finish it off.
Several masculine cards, this one using Gone Fishin that is retired. Colored with Copic markers. A little piercing around the edge and some brads. My retired sentiment to finish it off.
I did get to play with my new set that I got a few weeks back called The American Eagle. I do love these patriotic sets that I bought. Just need to find more time to play. Wrapped some ribbons around the designer paper. Some twine and button combo for the finishing touch.
Lastly a masculine thank you for a co-worker for all their help. Wrapped the little snippet of this mesh ribbon around the textured base. Added a little bit of dressing to a few layers and then my sentiment stamped a few times. Voila! Not a lot of info on each of these but you get the gist of the cards. Hope you are all doing well that still stop by that is. ;-) Have a great day!

Valentine hugs
One last Valentine using a stamp from CDS that is now closed, called Heart Hugs. I needed a card for my nephew and this guy is just adorable. He is stamped and colored with Copic markers then die cut with an oval shape.
Layered onto a die cut heart and then a few layers of designer paper. Wrapped some silver cord around the base layers and tied a bow. Added sequins accents and some sparkle. Voila!
For those wondering the boys did win their last two District games. They are now playing Monday's game to determine which "seed" for Regional Play off's! Woot Woot!!! I am super excited for them and all the hard work they have put into their season is paying off. Wish them luck!

Valentine bear hugs
Good morning. My creation today is a Valentine one using a retired stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps that is now closed. Yet this is still one of my favorite teddy bears. He makes for great Valentine cards.
The designer paper was my color inspiration for this card. Old paper from Doodle Bug paper pack that was called Sweet Things. I actually have only a few sheets left from this pack. Yes! :-) I stamped and colored the bear with various Copic markers then cut around to pop up on dimensionals. Used a ODBD Pennant die for the designer paper and some textured swiss dots that I had sitting on the table for the background. Added some WOJ retired Die-Light arrows for the top corner. Finished it off with a few pearls and some sparkle. Voila! Have a wonderful day!

CHRISTmas in December
Good morning and happy December. Well I am just getting around to posting my creation for the December Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge today, sorry about that. This months challenge is all about Birth. Christ birth, anything from the stable, shepherds, north star, stable etc. Hope you can play along this month.
I stamped my retired Clear Dollar Stamps scripture and then stamped lightly the Unity stable image and colored with light copic colors. Layered onto some Spellbinders decorative die cuts. The Berries and Birds designer paper was my inspiration for the colors. Found some older felt snowflakes I still have and added that to bring out the red berries a bit more. Some flourished pearls and ribbon to finish it off. Voila!

Sweet Baby card
Morning! Currently I am in need of several baby cards and I have not a single one on hand. EEK! Baby cards are always so fun to create except when you are in a hurry. So bare with me on this design today as it didn't come out how I thought it would come out. :-) My little giraffe is a retired Patchpal from CDS years ago and one of my favorites still. This particular friend loves anything giraffe so it was perfect for her baby card.
There is several more layers on this card that I normally have on cards but I kept adding layers. The scallop edge is my favorite with baby cards its just perfect I think. A few die cuts for the baby accents. A faux stitched border around the edge and popped up the giraffe with dimensionals. She is going to adore this I just know. Especially as she likes just about everything I create. hee hee Anyways... Hope you have a great day!

Birthday Tulips
Good morning! Did you enjoy the sneak peeks that Power Poppy had the last 5 days. That was a great release and I hope you check it out if you missed any of the stamps being released.
My creation today is using another retired set that I dusted off from CDS that is now closed. Digging through my old stamps sure has been a joy to stamp and color once again.

These tulips were one of my favorite. I colored them with various Copic markers and then die cut them using a Spellbinders circle. I used a piece of scrap designer paper for the base leaving some of the white on the sides which was perfect. Die cut a flourished die in white cardstock as well. My birthday sentiment in the middle with some sequins and sparkle to tie it all together. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Christmas Birth
This months Christmas Challenge is Christmas Negatives! Two ways to play with this idea. Use the cut outs from metal dies (negatives, the piece that you normally would discard) use it to frame up your sentiment or images. Or create a card with negatives from film either faux or real. They have some cool dies that look like film negative now.
Hope you can play along!
I never toss the scraps from when I die cut shapes as they make great frames or accents on cards. They are especially great for framing up sentiments or images. The garden green is my negative from a Spellbinders square shape. The beauty of this is that the shape was using scrap paper so the left bottom side was cut off after the shape was die cut. BUT with embellishments you can hide that and no one knows! ;-) So I use up scraps of scraps and have a pretty frame! This is a retired CDS stamp set for my sentiment. A few pearls and voila! Thanks for stopping in today.

Snow tweet
Happy March! Yep, it is the first of the month and that means the new Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge is up! You can play along with us HERE. This months theme is Lucky Stamps! What is your "Go to" stamp (s) or stamp style? More details on the thread.
There is no doubt that Snowman is one of lucky stamps. In fact each year I buy a few new snowmen stamps set. Usually from Whipper Snapper and each one is adorable. ;-) This card I dusted off an old favorite from CDS that is now closed called Snow Tweet! He looks so happy doesn't he. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. A simple white panel with scored borders. Matted him onto some designer Christmas paper and then just a little bit of ribbon and lace wrapped around the base. Top it off with a few sequins and voila! Hope you can play along this month.

Paper Bag
Supplies:
Designer paper (12 x 12), scoring tool, adhesive or regular tape, ribbon and embellishments desired
Step 1:
Score paper at 3 inch from the top and fold over as shown. Turn and place the fold at the top. Score at 3 inches from the left and 3 inches from the right. Fold both edges to meet in the middle as shown on the right. You have two options here. You can choose to do as I have and use the regular tape and place it on the underside edge of the seam so that the tape is hidden from the outside. Or you can just tape all the way down the seam from the outside. Below you will see that I have a hidden seam, but just at the top you will see the outside where I added extra tape. You won't see that as it will turn into the bottom soon.
Step 2:
Once you have taped the seam score at 3 inches from the bottom. Note this is the end that is open
Step 3:
Open the end like shown (alligator mouth) just to the fold mark. Crease and fold down to create triangle on the right.
Step 4:
Pre-fold both ends towards the middle. Add adhesive to both triangles and adhere. On the left I have one already adhered, on the right is what they will look like when completeStep 5:
Unfold and form paper bag shape. You will want to work the sides and the crease to make it as wide as you would like. You have lots of options for the closure from buttons, ribbons, velcro you decide. Decorate as desired
Step 6:
This is a sweet bag for one of the boys teachers. I used a retired stamp that is layered on ODBD Ornate Hearts Die. Added some sparkles and sequins. Enjoy!

I adore you
Good morning! Hopefully you had a great weekend and are all refreshed and ready for the week. Today I am sharing a fun project that I made for one of the boys teachers. I have a feeling that I will end up making this for the others once they see this one. hee hee This is a Paper Bag out of designer paper. I have a Paper Bag Tutorial if you want to see how I created this one and make your own.
The bear from Heart Hugs (retired) was gonna be perfect for the front of my gift bag. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. His panel is layered on an Ornate Hearts die in kraft card stock. Added my sentiment to the corner with some sequins and sparkles for fun. Voila! I adore how this turned out! I think one in gingham designer paper would be my next choice. What do you think? ;-) Hope you have a wonderful day.

Envelope Surprise
Good morning! I mentioned last week or the week before that I was cleaning out the craft room and I found the Envelope Punch Board and dusted it off. I got to playing and created a fun Valentine treat.
This is my Envelope Surprise! You can check out the tutorial and create your own Envelope Surprise if you want. ;-) Very easy peasy and would make great treats for the class room or even the bible study girls as this has the delicious Ghiradeli chocolate inside, yumo! The stamp on the front is a retired stamp set that I dusted off called Heart Hugs. Die cut using Hearts Die light and wrapped some twine and button for the bottom. Voila! Have a wonderful day.

FS414 If it matters to you
This weeks Featured Stamper 414 is Ann aka Dockside. Delightful creations and so many that I wanted to case. Finally choose this Wreath and Ribbon card to case. Kept the colors, textured panel, wreath and sentiment tag. Changed the stamp, textures, added sequins. Hope you can play along and enjoy your week Ann!
As of late I was cleaning out the stamp room and dusting off a bunch of things. I came across this beautiful wreath (retired now) and knew it was perfect for the card I wanted to case. I stamped the image on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. Die cut with a Spellbinders circle die and added dimensionals to the back. The ever so trusty swiss dots texture plate was perfect background choice. A few added sequins and my sentiment from Be Encouraged and voila!

CardMaker and Webster Pages Blog Hop
Welcome to CardMaker and Webster Pages October Blog Hop. If you just arrived here from
you are in the right place. Just joining us? Head on over to the CardMaker Blog to start hopping!
My creation is using the beautiful Family Traditions collection and is it ever beautiful. I think all the papers and embellishments in the collection are wonderful. This is a fun pocket front card that I created. The broach was a beautiful accent for the sentiment tag that uses Be Encouraged for the front of the pocket.
Below is the tag pulled out using scripture Jeremiah 29:11. One of my favorite scriptures. I don't know why this picture is a tad blurry, sorry about that. This little tag can be used as a bookmark I thought. My edges are die cut using Spellbinders A2 Bracket One die.
Your next stop in the blog hop is over to
The Webster's Page has some fun goodies up for grabs in the Blog Hop as well. Don't miss your chance at some goodies! Happy hopping! Have a wonderful day.

Coloring book and card for Bridger
I am wondering if have a moment to pray for a little boy? Bridger is the 4 year old son of a co-worker of my DH. The day before July 4th they were at a family BBQ and noticed that Bridger was acting a little strange. They rushed him to the ER to find out he needed to be flown over to Seattle at the Children's Hospital immediately. They spent the day and the 4th of July running tests and bone marrow to find he has a very aggressive form of Cancer called Burkitt’s Lymphoma. This comes on rapidly and progress rather rapidly as well.
Bridger started Chemo through the spine immediately on Friday and has had several other tests among the chemo. The parents are scared and shocked at all this happening so rapidly especially when he was just *normal* the day before. They are very sweet people and could use your prayers for Bridger.
Bridger is a huge fan of the color green and tractors. So I went to the John Deer website as they have some coloring pages and activities for kids. I printed off a few pages for him to color and created a coloring book for him. made a little pocket on the front to hold his crayons and soem pencils. The card is using Got Tractor from Clear Dollar Stamps. My sentiment pulling for you is suppose to look like the smoke coming out of the pipe on the tractor. hee hee Thanks for saying a prayer for Bridger, I know his parents will appreciate all the prayers they can get. Have a great day!

June Christmas Challenge
Happy first of the month and you know what that means? Time for the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. This months challenge is all about the Lyrics to the song "Grandma got ran over by a reindeer". Have you ever really listened to the words of this song? I never really had and oh my goodness! Very interesting Christmas song if you ask me. LOL Be sure to link your creations and check out the thread over on SCS for the challenge details. If you are not a Fan Club Member now is the time to join so you can play along. ;0)
I went a little crazy with the layers and the design on this one, but hey grandma has been drinking egg nog after all. ha ha I stamped Christmas Deer onto classic white cardstock and colored with various copic markers.
Then die cut the Spellbinders classic oval for the shape, that is then layered on the Decorative Oval die. My paper is from an old Christmas pack that I don't even have the name of but I think its Memory Box. Some faux stitching around the layers. Added a sheer brown ribbon bow and a snowflake to the sentiment with a pearl center. Easy Peasy! Hope you can play along today.

FS301 Merry Christmas
First I would like to say thank you to all our men and women who are currently serving. My family appreciates all you are doing to keep us safe. We would also like to thank your family for the sacrifice they are making while you serve. My family thanks you!
This weeks Featured Stamper 301 is Patty aka LaLatty. I had fun looking through her gallery trying to find which creation I wanted to case. I kept coming back to the same one called Christmas Dasher.
I stamped my reindeer from CDS called Merry Deer onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I colored him with copics and then layered the panel up on dimensionals. I kept the layout, colors and a Christmas card. Changed the deer and added a button. The deer does have some stickles on the snowflakes as well. Hope you get a chance to play along with us this week. Have a great day!
