So a little background for you. I have sent 861 as of a year ago when I started to keep track of how many I send to the troops. We have a close friend from Highschool that on his first tour we sent him cards and goodies all the time. When he came home, we had a few other friends that were over seas. The friend I send them to now actually is moved around a lot, he is a private contractor for the Army and he moves through a lot of the unique areas. So he gets to distribute a lot more cards to remote areas.
They are always so grateful. It always encourages and lifts their spirits to get cards. I now have a new brother in law that is on his second tour that just shipped out a week ago. So he will be getting a lot of cards for his unit as well.
