Pop up Mr. and Mrs.

Happy Friday! Earlier this week I shared the bridal shower card I made for some friends wedding coming up. Now I am sharing the wedding card that will go with the gifts. Can't wait to be able to attend normal functions again with loved ones I tell you. Sniff... sniff... Enough cryin onto my card. I used Dream Wedding again which is retired. However the cake and some sentiments are available in digital format called Fancy Flower Cake

The bride is a huge pop up card fan and all the Hallmark ones are a huge hit with her. It was only right that I created my own version of one using the Surprise box die. Now that I think about it for the shower card I could of used the purse die too. Oh rats... too late to fit one in now. ha!  Anyways... colored up several of the items in the set with Copic markers. Delicately cut around each of them so they could be inside the box. Added some ODBD designer paper to the box layers and some pearls to finish it off. Voila!  Turned out super cute and I know she will love it.

For the bride

Morning. It is still a difficult time for those getting married and I wish we were able to attend a wedding this coming week. For now a card and gift will have to do.  :-(  The colors are inspired by the wedding invitation that we received. Brides are always impressed... the groom's not so much. ha ha!  This one is for the bridal shower gift.

The set used is called Dream Wedding which is retired. Still a wonderful wedding set to have on hand.
The shoes are stamped and colored with Copic markers. I then cut around them and popped the right one up with a dimensional over the other shoe. Used some of my last few flowers that my sweet friend Pat made me years ago. They are only used on special occasion cards. ;-)
The designer paper is from a ODBD paper pack, with some flourished die cuts added. Sparkles and pearls and voila! Friday I will have the card for the wedding to share with you. Thanks for stopping by.

12 Days of Christmas Day 2

Today is day 2 of the Power Poppy 12 days of Christmas. Marcy has a bunch of prize info and sale going on over on the Power Poppy Blog for you to check out. While you are there be sure to check out Catherine's post using the new Heavenly Dove and Peace stamp or digi version.

Colored up the new set myself and tried to get some mojo going for cards and tags. I am really behind this year, ack! This did not quite match what I had planned but I do like the over all end product. My dove is colored with various Copic markers and then die cut with the matching shape for the base layer die cut.

The designer paper was pretty smooth cutting with the die which made me super happy. Layered that onto some dark burgundy paper and then the green base. Tied in a die cut poinsettia and some pearls for accents. A little sparkle on the doves feathers and voila!
Now head on over to the Power Poppy Blog to check out Catherine's post and all the goodies Marcy has going on. Have a great day!

Sports shirts

Happy day today. :-)  My cards today are for the sports men in our lives using the dies I was playing with. My first one is one that I could see going either way out in the weeds or to a picnic with friends. I like the gingham paper from the paper pack Menswear Material collection. This is a versatile card for sure.

Next up is the one for the avid hunter or fisher I think. Is that zipper not totally adorable? The die even has a smaller one to put on the pockets if you want. Oh my goodness totally fun and so cute! Just loving this die set for sure. Went ahead and just added buttons to the base shirt without the extra layer. The paper on this one is from the Cool and Casual paper pack. All supplies from Divinity Designs.

Almost done with my latest card request which is good news.
Don't forget about my Stamps For Sale. Still have a few left check it out HERE. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Casual guy shirts

Morning. Two more fun guy shirts from the new dies and papers. I think this die is so FUN! The tiny buttons are a little tricky but they sure do add that real touch to them. So many different ideas with this die collection that I know will be used quite often to be honest.
The tiny pockets are just adorable aren't they?

Next up is my Guy Fieri shirt as the boys called it with the flaming designer paper. ha! I think this turned out so cool.

Two more card requests from a friend of mine that I need to get started on. The other two cards for the sportsman cards I made I will share next week. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

Sharp dressing men

Good morning! This weekend was fun as I got to hang out with my favorite men in the house. With the twins getting jobs (ACK, yes they both work and are taking summer classes) so time with them is starting to get sparse. John and I appreciate what time we get as it is starting to twindle away each year. The one positive, as I have said before from the Covid/stay at home we truly cherish  the time with these guys. I have missed posting the last few weeks and seeing what everyone has been up to. Working on catching up this week with everyone. You didn't come to hear me squak.... So how about some sharp dressed men cards?  :-)
My new dies and papers were so fun to dig into and making masculine cards is always FUN! These dies are from Divinity Designs Couture collection with a few more to go with the main die.

We will go with the dressy ones today. This is a fancy suit with the white and blue jacket I think. The textures paper was perfect for my dad's birthday card coming up. hee hee  I can see lots of wedding cards with this die suit vest and some graduation cards next year.

Next up I will show you the way you should NOT wear a vest. Oh my goodness... I totally had so much trouble with these and I couldn't figure out what the deal was. Well it is because the vest is on the wrong way. I'm hoping that not many will notice it to be honest since it took me a bit to get these things together. The paper is new also for these both of these cards.

I had to do a white and blue combo again since I think it looks sharp together. They still don't look too bad with the vests wrong, right? I have it correct now so when I make more they will be ones not found at the outlet malls. ha ha!

I will share the others with you on Wednesday. Need to get some snacks made for this week for the working crew now.  :-)  Oh to be needed even when they have jobs is such a warm feeling. Hope you are all doing well.

Birthday duo

Good morning! How about a boy and girl birthday card using the same stamp? One of my favorite birthday House Mouse's I have. First up is the girl birthday card. Hot pink all around so whoever gets this better like pink. hee hee  The designer paper was from the scrap bin as I have been using a lot of paper from their lately Added a few die cut balloons and a scallop edge to the base layers. Stamped my sentiment and then added sparkles.

My second one is for a boy birthday. This one using the same die cut balloons but different colors and some simple layers as well. Sparkle to finish it off.

I am just about done with my other House Mouse images that I colored. Then I need to work on a new request from a friend for some cards. I do love these guys and glad I colored up a few during meetings a few weeks ago. hee hee  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Rosey birthday

This birthday card is using Go Wild which is currently on sale by the way.  ;-)  For my colors i knew I wanted a pink so I went through my designer papers and found this rose one from an ODBD paper pack. My flowers colored and then layered onto some light purple card stock.

The pink base has some swiss dots textures added and then my designer paper. Wrapped some lace trim and purple ribbon around the layers. Then a die cut with a button twine accent and some sparkle. Voila! Another birthday card down. My stash is starting to have some bulk to it. Yea! Hope you have a great day.

Friendly note friend

Morning. How about a quick card for a friend who just is amazing? I noticed that as of late that a few friends are in need of a smile so I grabbed Vibrant Thanks stamp set and went to work. Stamped this bloom around the edges and wanted the sentiments diagonal through the middle for a fun look.

Some scallop edge along the bottom with a die cut fish tail tag at the top. Some sparkle and a few enamel dots to finish it off. I think its cheerful and perfect for the person its intended. I hope you have a great day!

November Christmas Bough

Happy Friday and November Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge. This months theme is fun and I hope you check it out HERE and play along with us.
I just adore the feel of this card from the colors of the papers to the mitten image. This is using Bough Wow Wow stamp set. Stamped the image onto white card stock and colored with various Copic markers.

After I was done coloring I die cut using an ODBD die for the shape. My designer paper was my color inspiration for this card. The yellow and chocolate just make me smile. Stamped the sentiment along the side with some added sparkle.
Then wrapped some ribbon around the base and tied off a heart button with some twine, then last bit with enamel dots. Voila!

Class of 2019

My graduation cards this year. Normally I create the cards in the colors of the school for the graduate. Well this year I have not only our school but a few other graduates and time was limited. So... we all get the classic black, white and gold colors for the year. No one will really know except the ones from the boys school. I am good with that this year.  :-)

Used several retired items for these also from the die cut numbers to the sentiment themselves. The stars are from ODBD with a few added gold sequins and some textured background. The picture isn't straight because I was in a hurry. But hey I got the picture taken that is success right now. HA! Thanks for stopping by.

Move on over to 18

How about that....18 already. My goodness time sure does fly. Created these in the short amount of time I had for the boys 18th birthday. They fully expected me to not give them a card since we were going in every direction but I did squeeze out these quick designs.

The background was created using Move the Soul background pieces randomly stamped in various ink colors. I then used my Aqua brush and grabbed one orange ink and flicked the base for some splatters. Die cut the numbers 18 and stamped my birthday sentiments in the corner. Some faux stitching down the left edge and Voila!

Cheery Hello

Happy Friday! Power Poppy has a weekend stamp deal for you on Happy Crabapple and Flowering Branches. Check out the PP Blog for all the details as this is a weekend steal only.
This is a rather easy card as I trimmed down the image panel to fit the front of the card front. Colored with various Copic markers.

Added a textured pink panel for the base and some scallop behind the image panel. My sentiment with a pearl accent  and a few more for the top. Voila!

Welcome Lizzy Love

Happy Wednesday! Need a baby boy card for a friend and she loves giraffe's so I knew this Lizzy Love was going to be perfect! I colored her with various Copic markers and then die cut with a stitched rectangle.

Die cut some matching stitched scallops that I am rather fond of as of late to the top and bottom of the gingham paper.  :-)  Die cut a few balloons and added sparkles. The sentiment is from TE Many Minis Occasions stamp set. Wrapped a little bit of twine through the button and voila! She is going to love this. Thanks for stopping by today.

Friend you amaze me

My card today is using the set Vibrant Thanks. This card has several layers on top of layers which was not intended at all.
I stamped the flower off on scrap paper before I stamped it onto the white base layer for just a hint of the image. The sentiment and the main flower are stamped onto the center white base.

Then when I laid the vellum over the white base I stamped the flower lightly as I did the background. It really brought the flower depth out quite a bit that way and I didn't intend for that to happen, but it looks cool. To cover the glue dots holding the vellum over the white layer I added sequins to the corners. I really like how this turned out, heavy card or not.  :-)  Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Maddy's birthday purse

I finally got to use the new die that I got for Christmas from Our Daily Bread Designs, it is the new or new to me timeless tote. I think its totally cute die and had fun making this. My first one so bare with me. She likes pink so I knew the base would be easy but the papers for the side pockets and the front pouch needed to have some flowers. So I grabbed the ODBD Blushing Rose designer paper for those. Added a few pearls and then assembled.

I need to figure out if I want to stamp the sentiment directly on the front (probably should of done that thought first) or if I just want to add a tag. hhhmmmm.. I have time to think on it. A giftcard will fit perfectly in the little pouch in the front and some chocolates that she likes inside. I have a few other  that I plan to create with this for gifts. Should be fun and I will keep you posted. Thanks for stopping by today.

Valentine bear hugs

Good morning. My creation today is a Valentine one using a retired stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps that is now closed. Yet this is still one of my favorite teddy bears. He makes for great Valentine cards.

The designer paper was my color inspiration for this card. Old paper from Doodle Bug paper pack that was called Sweet Things. I actually have only a few sheets left from this pack. Yes! :-)  I stamped and colored the bear with various Copic markers then cut around to pop up on dimensionals. Used a ODBD Pennant die for the designer paper and some textured swiss dots that I had sitting on the table for the background. Added some WOJ retired Die-Light arrows for the top corner. Finished it off with a few pearls and some sparkle. Voila! Have a wonderful day!

2018 Graduations

Morning. It dawned on me that I had not shared the graduation cards I had created for this year.  I always personalize the grad cards with each kids favorite scripture. It is one of the best ideas I came up with and I am rather popular for it among the grad's now.  :-)  Reading each kids favorite is fun and most of the time I can see why they choose their verse based on the personality of the kid. Anyways... Here is what this year's cards will look like.

Grabbed the numbers dies and scored a box panel around the edge. Some die cut balloons and streamers. Each scripture is different so I had to adjust the placement on a few but this is the over all layout. Some sparkle and sequins, voila! Happy Graduation all around.  ;-)  Now someone asked me if I create it for each graduate and NO, I am not crazy. Just the close friends and family of the graduates that we know. I better start thinking up what to create now to get ahead of the game for next year. ha ha  Thanks for stopping by!

Theo's 1st birthday

Is this little dino adorable or what? He is from Bugaboo called Dino Birthday. Perfect for the birthday card I needed. Vibrant colors as you can see but it is a 1st birthday card. hee hee

Several dies used for this from the balloons, to the pennant and the number one. Lots of sparkles and then I also stamped Happy Birthday sentiment to the balloon itself. Voila! Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello gift bag

Good morning, are you enjoying your Monday? I am in the craft room so I sure do enjoy this Monday.  :-)  This fun little bag tutorial was on SCS the other day and it was perfect for what I needed. Grabbed the stamp set Always Here to play with.

This is a large image however you are able to use portions of the image. Actually stamped the entire image and then thought I would layer it with a die for a tag. Colored the image with various Copic markers and popped the center part of the image up on dimensionals. Added a button and twine to adhere to the little tote bag. Voila! Off to create some more. Have a wonderful day!
