Twas the night before Christmas

And all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Obviously someone missed this house, these mice are wrapping cheese. hee hee I love this house mouse stamp, its totally cute. Sorry for the picture, the sun washed out the lettering but at least you can see the mices. lol I added some sparkle to the ribbon also.

MMM Sleepless in Seattle

Happy Monday! Today's House Mouse and Friends Blog challenge is ***Movies*** Make a card based off a Title of a movie, Theme of a movie, or something in a movie. My family and I are movie NUTS. So this challenge yes was my idea. LOL I had so many ideas running through my head and I finally choose one of my favorites Sleepless in Seattle. :0) These bunnies sure aren't sleeping when they probably should be. hee hee So play along with us, leave a link over on the HMF blog and check out what the DT came up with! And now for my news.....

I have stepped down from the House Mouse and Friends DT last week. So this is my last card on the design team. I have enjoyed my time and I will continue to play in the challenges but from the other side. lol So don't fret... I will still be stamping with these little guys, they are some of my favorite stamps.

MMM Buttons buttons, whos got the buttons....

I think this is the second time we have done the button thing and I am getting a little better with it. LOL But again not very creative with them, unlike most of you. House Mouse and Friends blog challenge for the next 2 weeks is all about buttons. Show us how you use your buttons on cards. Again the challenges are running for 2 weeks instead of 1 so you have plenty of time.
This is the last new house mouse stamp that the boys got me, isn't it just totally cute. I love them all sitting on the chair. hee hee Hope you get to play and be sure to check out the other girls cards over on the blog.

Year in Review

Hapy Monday! Yes... Its FOOTBALL season ladies... I am so so excited, I have been waiting for the dundundundnnnnn sound again. hee hee And yes the cards have begun already girls. See the post below this one for the start of the fun. lol
Can you believe that the House Mouse and Blog Challenge has been running for a year now? It has and this weeks challenge is *Year in Review* so go back through all our challenges and find the one you liked the most or had the most fun with and make a new creation.
I had a hard time choosing but ended up with the white on white since I wanted this adorable HM to just shine. This is another one the boys got me for my birthday. I have one more left that they got me to show you, but you will have to wait for that one. hee hee I added a little sparkle to the flowers and popped up the image. I just think this so so sweet.
On a side note I was trying to clean my stampin room and I added a few bins to hold stamps GASP... and I counted how many House Mouse stamps I own, not counting sentiments just the stamps alone. Guess how many.... 56 total ACK.... Can you believe it. I am just shocked, never would of thought I would own that many HM. But I do love these guys. Well I have babbled on enough today. MMM Mice and Berries

Monday is here... Wow. Do the weekends seem to fly by fast for you also? They sure are at our house sheesshh... Well today I have another new House Mouse stamp that the boys got me for my birthday. I just love that they get me these stamps, they are really good at picking ones that I will like. Helps that DH is helping them with picks. hee hee I went with the colors from this Lemonade basic grey paper that I just got. Kept this very simple and will have the sentiment on the inside if I choose to add one. I am getting used to coloring my mice with the copics more and more. :0)

MMM Last minute picnics

This is for the LSC233 challenge over on SCS Summer's winding down. Only 2 more weeks till school starts so we are trying to work in as many last minute picnics and BBQ's as we can. hee hee Then our regular routine will be back in our lives... aaaahhhh.... Gotta love that routine. lol
This is one of my new House Mouse stamps that I got for my birthday. I got 6 new ones, YES 6. I was so excited! The boys are so good about picking me out House Mouse stamps. :0) Now the House Mouse and friends Blog challenge is still running their back to school challenge till the 31st. So be sure to check it out and play along!
On a sad note my MIL is going to be closing her Christian Bookstore this month. Ironically 3 years ago the 29th is when she opened her doors and I went to work for her while the kids were in school. It was a hard decision but with things as they are she thought it best to close the doors. So that leaves me staying home again full time all year rather than just the summer. I am actually really excited to be a SAHM again full time.
I am much more relaxed when I can get things done around here at my leisure. I do have a full page list of things I plan to do right away. Things that get put off till I have *time* well now I will. For example clean the plant lofts, behind the washer and dryer, oil the trim and baseboards... you know the not so daily cleaning you have to do at a house. lol
Since I am normally simple and short with my posts... if anyone is still reading I hope you have a wonderful day!

MMM Bunny Sketch

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I got to stamp for 3 days and play along with the Dirty Dozen girls over on SCS. If you are a fan club member you can play along with the best of the best. Talk about a talented group of ladies... And I am friends with some of them ACK... :0) I had a blast and the challenges were awesome...

This is for House Mouse and Friends Blog challenge and its a SKETCH..... A fun sketch at that. I played on the sketch with the white on white panel and colored the center part of the image. MMM White on White

Today's House Mouse and Friends blog challenge is white on white. So the only color should be your image. The rest is all white. Your embelishments, paper etc... all white. Very opposite of last week. I loved this challenge, and I love how this turned out. I pulled out one of my first HM stamps I ever got. Just makes me smile. I also used my copics again on this little guy, still trying to get my eyes used to the not solid brown like I like. But I AM getting used to it. hee hee

MMM Black and white film

This weeks House Mouse and friends blog challenge is brought to use by America. She challenges us to no coloring. Yep that's right leave those adorable little mice UNCOLORED. You can use color anywhere else you choose the brads, papers, ribbons etc. but you can't color the image.
Well the only thing that coming to mind when she said no coloring was those first films, TV's and actual film were all black and white. So I went with that and used the photo as one you would see on the film strip. Turned out fun. Hope you can play along with us! Have a blessed day!

I choose a wintry one since this is one of the new House Mouse the boys got me for Mothers Day. I also am coloring my mice with Copics for the first time. Now I am really really picky with my House Mouse stamps and how I color the mice. I have always loved them the solid brown but different shades, know what I mean. Anyways... I am taking a chance and trying them a little different for a few cards and see if I like them. Let me know what you think.

I'm back, sketch for you and a reveal

Its Monday and the start of our summer vacation. First I have a lot of info for you today, so lets start with... We just got back from the beach and had a wonderful time. We have gone the last 8 years to the same place and we love it. My big news is we saw a whale. FINALLY... I have always wanted to see a shark or whale jump up out of the ocean while we sit on the beach and each year nothing. THIS year we saw a whale. He didn't jump up or anything but came up for air twice and we saw his back and fin. How cool is that!!! We see seals all the time but this was super cool! We are glad to be home and laundry is almost done thank goodness. haha
Last weeks card for House Mouse and Friends didn't make it to the blog, sorry, I forgot to send it to Emma. But she will have today's card. LOL Waving hi from the Beach in Oregon! Yep I am out of town so this is auto posting I hope. I have a few set up this week, so we will see. This weeks House Mouse and Friends blog challenge is a color challenge. Neapolitan style. That's right Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate.
This is one of the new stamps that the boys got me for Mother's day. DH and I have been working out at home since Dec 26th, 3 nights a week and we are doing so good. The boys thought I would like this stamp. I love it. :0)

And its Lori's. hee hee Our very own DT member Lori's birthday is today, make sure to wish her Happy Birthday. MMM Sketch a Mouse

I had to try like 5 times to get this circle the right size and even this isn't the right size. But finally I just had to give it up and and say here you go. haha I added liquid glass to the ice cubes for the wet look. I like how this turned out.

MMM Moving Special 19.95

LOL Sorry I had to do it. That is all I could think about with this challenge. hee hee This weeks House Mouse and friends challenge is to make a card about moving. I got this wonderful image from my good friend Billie (thanks so much again) and I thought it was perfect for sending it to someone moving. They get happy mail at their new house. I used a sentiment that I got from America ( cardsbyamerica) Thank you so much again!

MMM A Gate fold you say....

This weeks House Mouse and Friends blog challenge is to make a gate fold card. I haven't done one of these folds forever infact I had to remember how to cut this right. I messed up a few times, good thing for extra cardstock. LOL
I used a soft colored paper from memory box called Sweetbay. I colored the flowers in a soft barely banana ink and assembled the gate fold. I do like how this turned out. I can't get it to closed for the picture without my hands holding it, so I just took it with it open. :0)
