Fall Mani

Hey Everyone!! I hope everyone has enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday, Hanukkah, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and whatever else has been going on these past few days that you celebrate or take part in. We had a nice Thanksgiving and a quiet time after. T has been with his father and C has been working so it has been pretty quiet. Yesterday was a perfect rainy, movie watching day.

This was one of my fall manis that I did probably for Tuesday. I don't remember which day at this point. I think it was Tuesday though because I was making cake balls and too busy to change it or take pictures of it.

For my middle and ring finger I used a base of Elevation Polish Tettegouche with Oopsie Daisies Ganache over top. I then stamped on it with Maybelline Classic Camel.

For my ring and pinky I used a base of Classic Camel with Pahlish Bixby Canyon Bridge over top. I stamped on it with SpaRitual I Feel the Earth Move.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-H11 for the design on Tettegouche. Classic Camel didn't cooperate very much with the stamping because it dried so fast. I was a little too slow so not all of the images are good.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-H12 for the leaves pattern on my index and pinky. It is rather hard to distinguish.

We have had a lot of overcast and rain this past week which didn't allow for a lot of outdoor shots.

At least it made it cooler outside with all the rain and "cold fronts" that rolled through. It didn't do much for my pictures though.

That's all for now :)

I Can't Believe It but it is Still Alive

Hey Everyone!!  OMG the title of this post is awful. I couldn't come up with anything else though lol Geesh, it is pertty cheesy. Today I have a ton of pictures for you! I almost broke it down into two posts but decided to leave it as one. This of course means that I have to keep doing green manis so I have plenty of things to blog about.

I started off by doing a gel mani with Red Carpet Manicure polish in I Can't Believe It. I am not sure if this was part of a collection or if it is core but I picked it up on clearance when I first was getting into the gel polish.

I Can't Believe It is a clear base with small silver glitter and larger holographic glitter. It was thicker than I am used to polish being with Gelish but it could be due to the glitter.

I bought these cute decals from LuckyStarStyle on ebay last year and have been waiting to use them again. I love them soo much. I had never put decals in a gel mani before so this was quite an experiment.

I only used two decals per hand because I am cheap and wanted to conserve them. I also thought it might be a little much to put them on every nail. I love this design so much.

I wanted to add some color to the mani because I didn't like seeing my nail line.

I used Pahlish Still Alive from the 2012 Portal Collection. This color is insanely gorgeous. My mom even picked this color for a mani when I had first gotten it. That is unheard of.

I decided to do two full nails with Still alive and then the tips on the nails with the decals.

Still Alive has this AMAZING glowing shift to it that I could not get the camera to pick up very easily. The pictures do this polish absolutely no justice.

I know this picture looks the same as the one above but you can see the gold and a little of the glow. I tried really hard to get it to show up.

SO PRETTY! This polish is amazing. You NEED IT!

The formula was a little thick but I put some thinner in it and it worked perfectly to my liking.

It is packed with little flakies and glitter and magic. It is magic I tell you.

 Magic!

I also LOVE the decals. LOVE.

They are so easy to apply and look fantastic.

I love this mani. I know, at this point I am just babbling because I feel like I should say something.

Last but not least I have a picture of Mr. Charles Charleston Chew. He is destructo dog or better known as broken puppy. He hates his picture being taken and barks at the camera.

That's all for now :)

14 Days of Valentines Days 7&8

Hey Everyone!! I decided to post these two manis together since they are a duo. I have to apologize for the state of my cuticles and nails in these photos. My right hand nails decided to break while I was wearing this mani. I tried to take pictures of them and there was no sun so the pictures didn't come out as nice as I wanted them too. I am going to take better pictures and give this duo the post that it deserves as soon as possible. I was touched to receive these polishes as a very kind gift from a very awesome person so I feel even worse that the pictures are not as nice as I wanted them to be. I will try again after Valentine's Day to do a better mani with these polishes.

For Valentine's Day two Indie polish brands joined up to create this duo. It is the Elevation Pahlish duo created by the awesome ladies behind Elevation Polish and Pahlish. This was my first experience with Elevation polish but I do have two more to show you soon.

Elevation Pahlish in Mount Carmel and Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

Mount Carmel is a gorgeous milk chocolaty base with pink and gold glass fleck shimmer in it.

I LOVE the glass fleck in this polish. It is so pretty.

The pink, gold and brown combination is stunning together.

The sun was going down so my sunlight was limited when I was taking these.

I love brown polish and this one is really pretty.

I topped it with Coral Pink Sand Dunes after wearing it for a day.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes is a gorgeous glitter topper. It is a clear base with pink and gold shimmer as well as hex glitter in brown and copper. There is also micro glitter in rose and gold and CIRCLE glitter in rose. OMG I LOVE CIRCLE GLITTER! As if that was not jam packed with glitter there are gold holo squares in there too. It is amazing!

The day that I was taking these pictures it was going to rain so I ran out and took the pictures without topcoat. I had very little sun too. It wasn't a great day for taking pictures.

I love this duo so much.

It is a great duo and I love the colors and omg that circle glitter is awesome.

I can't wait to wear this duo again!! I also can't wait to try the other Elevation polishes I ordered!

That's all for now :)
