Purple diamond in a blue paradise

I promised you swatches from all the last packages, so without farther talking, here we start:

I received these two polishes in the package from the lovely Chocaddict that I showed you last week.

הבטחתי סווטצ'ים של כל החבילות האחרונות , אז הפעם בלי הקדמות נוספות הנה זה מתחיל:

את הלקים האלו קיבלתי בחבילה מ- Chocaddict שהראיתי לכן בשבוע שעבר. אני אחרוג ממנהגי הפעם מכיוון שיש כמה סווטצ'ים ואכתוב מתחת לכל לק, כדי שיהיה לכן נוח יותר (אני חושבת שזה נוח יותר, נכון ?).

Mavala - Paradise Blue

Mavala – Paradise Blue – this one is part of Mavala Paradise Collection for Summer 2010 – a beautiful blue, almost metallic with a silvery shimmer. When we're talking about metallic polishes you have to be super careful with the application – brush strokes and bubbles are common things in these polishes and that's why I don't use them often. I'm a perfectionist and every little bubble or brushstroke can drive me crazy, so I usually choose to save me the pain J

But – most of the time, when you successfully pass the application part, you get an awesome look and that's the case with this polish – this is a gorgeous shade of blue and I couldn't take my eyes out of my hands J

Two coats were enough to get an opaque look and the drying time was fast. As appropriate to a metallic polish, it changes with different lightings, so I took pictures with different lightings, but please notice that it's a bit more turquoise than you can see in the pictures.

Mavala – Paradise Blue – שייך ל- Mavala Paradise Collection for Summer 2010 - כחול כמעט מטאלי עם שימר כסוף. כשמדובר על לקים מטאליים, צריך להיות סופר זהירים עם המריחה – סימני מברשת ובועות הם דבר נפוץ כשמדובר בלקים האלה וזאת הסיבה שאני לא משתמשת בהם הרבה. אני פרפקציוניסטית ובועה קטנה או סימן מברשת שיצא קצת לא ישר יכולים להוציא אותי מדעתי, אז אני בוחרת לרוב לחסוך מעצמי את עוגמת הנפש J

מה שכן ייאמר לזכותם, שהרבה פעמים, אם צולחים את שלב המריחה, המראה שמתקבל הוא מקסים וזה גם מה שהיה עם הלק הזה – גוון מהמם של כחול שפשוט לא יכולתי להפסיק להסתכל על היד שלי J. שתי שכבות הספיקו למראה אטום וזמן הייבוש היה מהיר.

כיאה ללק מטאלי, הוא משתנה בהתאם לתאורה, אז צילמתי לכן אותו בכמה מצבים, רק קחו בחשבון שיש בן מן הטורקטיזיות, אבל לא רואים את זה בתמונות.

Essence - Purple Diamond

Essence – Perfect Diamond – One of their new shades. A light purple, also almost metallic but with lots and lots of tiny silvery glitter. Gorgeous !

The application here was perfect, just like all the other Essence polishes I've had the chance to try so far. The polish applies like butter J a great pigment makes it almost opaque after the first coat, the brush is comfortable and the formula is very good. I'm very very pleased with these polishes and I wish I could buy them here.

Two coats were totally enough here in order to get an opaque look although, and you know I don't usually say this, you can go with only one coat. I also want to mention that because its glitter are so tiny, the polish is smooth on the nails and there are no removal issues.

Essence – Perfect Diamond - אחד מהצבעים החדשים שלהם. סגול בהיר, גם כמעט מטאלי, אבל עם המון המון נצנצים כסופים קטנטנים. מהמם !

גם כאן, כמו עם לקים אחרים של Essence שיצא לי לנסות, המריחה פשוט מדהימה . הלק נמרח כמו חמאה J פיגמנט מעולה הופך אותו לכמעט אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה, מברשת נוחה ופורמולה מעולה. אני ממש ממש מרוצה מהם וחבל שאי אפשר להשיג אותם כאן.

שתי שכבות כאן מספיקות בהחלט למרות, ואתן יודעות שאני ממש לא אומרת את זה הרבה, שאפשר להסתפק גם בשכבה אחת. אני רוצה גם לציין שמאחר והנצנצים כאן הם כ"כ קטנטנים, הלק שמתקבל הוא חלק למגע ואין בעיה להסיר אותו.

More new polishes

שלום לכולכן ! איך עבר יום העצמאות בגזרתכן ? מקווה שביליתן ונהניתן :-)

היום אני ממשיכה בסדרת התמונות של הלקים החדשים, שהתחלתי כאן לפני יום העצמאות, ויש לנו עוד הרבה להספיק, אז הנה מתחילים....

הלק הראשון הוא של חברת Gold, מס' 738. בבקבוק הוא היה נראה לי אפור כהה מאוד, מלא בנצנצים. כשמרחתי אותו, ראיתי שהוא קצת יותר בהיר ממה שחשבתי, עם גוון מסויים של ירוק זית בתוכו, ואכן, הוא נוצץ, אבל לא בדיוק כמו שחשבתי.

ואולי כאן זה הזמן להגיד את זה – כשקניתי את הלקים האלו של גולד (סה"כ שלושה נדמה לי, את השאר אני אפרסם בהמשך), הם נראו לי בבקבוק קצת הולוגרפיים והיו לי ציפיות גדולות מהם. כשמרחתי אותם ראיתי, שאכן הם נוצצים, אבל לא בצורה שחשבתי....הנצנצים בהם לא בולטים כמו בלקים הולוגרפיים, המרקם הוא סוג של "משופשף", אם אתן מבינות למה אני מתכוונת ומתקבל מראה יותר מטאלי נוצץ, מאשר הולוגרפי. טוב, אז כנראה שטעיתי בציפיות שלי, אבל עדיין מדובר על לקים מקסימים, עם המון נצנצים חמודים בתוכם ששובים את העין.

למרות שהוא היה קצת שונה ממה שדמיינתי, אני מאוד מרוצה מהצבע שלו. אין ספק שהגוון הזה של האפור מעניין ולקים מעניינים אני אוהבת :-)

הלק הזה היה בסדר למריחה, לא יותר לא פחות. קצת סמיך וכמו תמיד, מרקם מטאלי תמיד מקשה עליי את המריחה (למרות שזה לא לחלוטין מטאלי, אבל יש בו את האלמנט הזה). הייתי צריכה למרוח 3 שכבות כדי להגיע למראה אטום והתוצאה לפניכן:

Gold - No. 738

הלק השני הוא של טופ נייל, מס' 28. מעין זהב – ברונזה נוצץ. לא מהצבעים האהובים עליי בדר"כ, אבל קניתי אותו בשביל הגיוון ובשביל הקישוטים.
חשבתי למרוח אותו הפעם על כל הציפורן כדי שתוכלו להתרשם ממנו, ולמרות שכמו שכתבתי, הצבעים האלה הם ממש לא הכוס קפה שלי , אני חייבת לציין שהוא הפתיע אותי לטובה. הצבע שלו היה הרבה יותר עדין על היד, מאשר בבקבוק, והנצנצים שלו נחמדים מאוד.

מבחינת מריחה, גם כאן, החיים לא דבש, אותו כנ"ל כמו בקודם – קצת סמיך, מרקם מטאלי מקשה, אבל בגדול – סביר בהחלט ולא משהו שאי אפשר להתמודד איתו...חחח
בתמונה רואים 3 שכבות, למרות שגם אחרי שתיים מגיעים למראה אטום ויפה.

NTP - No. 28

הלק השלישי הוא גם של טופ נייל, מס' 33. קצת קשה לי להגדיר במדויק את הצבע – מעין חום – כסוף מטאלי. על היד הוא ממש מזכיר לי צבע שמפניה....
גם הלק הזה הוא בעל מראה מטאלי עם נצנצים קטנים. הצבע שלו הוא די עדין, אבל המרקם המטאלי הופך אותו ל"נועז" יותר. הוא באמת מזכיר לי צבעי שמפניה של מכוניות...זה התיאור הכי טוב שהצלחתי לתת לו......חחח...

מבין השלושה, הלק הזה היה הכי נוח למריחה. לקח לו קצת זמן להתייבש (גם אחרי מייבש), אבל אחרי שתי שכבות הוא כבר היה אטום. אני שמתי עוד שכבה אחת דקה, בשביל הגימור.....המטאליים האלה לא עושים לך חיים קלים....:-)

NTP - No. 33

נו, מה אתן אומרות ? אהבתן / לא אהבתן ?
בכל מקרה, אתן חייבות להודות שהפעם חרגתי בשבילכן מהסגולים –ורודים –אדומים שלי, כדי להביא לכן משהו קצת שונה....חחחח

After Independence Day, today I'll continue in my new polishes series. We have a lot to catch up, so here it comes…..

The first one, is from Gold, No. 738. In the bottle, it seemed very dark grey, full of glitter. When I applied it, I saw it's a little less dark than I though, with kind of olive shade in it….

And maybe that's the time to say it – when I bought those Gold polishes (total 3 if I remember right…I'll post the rest soon), they seemed to me kind of holographic and I had big expectations….when I applied them, I saw they are very glitter, but not the way I though it would be….the glitter are not so bold (if that is the word) and the texture is kind of "worn out", if you know what I mean (hope you do…lol), so the total look is more metallic, than holo…but yet, they are lovely, full with little eye-catching glitters :-)

So even though it was a bit different than I imagined, I was really satisfied with this color. It has a unique shade, and as you know, I love unique polishes :-)

The application was o.k., a bit sticky and as always, metallic texture is always harder to work with (although it's not totally metallic, but it has that element), it took 3 coats to get opaque look and it dries reasonably.


The second polish, is from NTP (by TopNail), No. 28. This is kind of gold – bronze shade. These kinds of colors are usually not my favorite, but I bought it for variety and for decorations.

This time, I applied it all over my nails, so you can be impressed with the color, and although, as I wrote, these colors are not my cup of coffee, I have to say that this one surprised me. Its color is much more delicate on the nails, than it is in the bottle, and its glitters are really nice.

Like the first one, this one too is not the easiest to apply, especially with the metallic texture, but it's reasonable and not something you can't handle with. In the pictures you can see 3 coats, although it is opaque even after 2 coats.

The third one is also from NTP, No. 33. It's a bit hard for me to define that color – kind of metallic brown – silver…maybe champagne.. this one too is metallic with lots of tiny glitters.

It is a delicate color, but its metallic texture makes it more "daring". It really reminds me cars champagne colors…that's the best description I could have thought of …lol
This one was the easiest to apply. It took it some time to dry, but it was opaque after 2 coats. I applied one thinner coat, for the finish….those metallic doesn't make it easy for me…lol

So, what do you say? Did you like it? You have to admit that I deviated from my purples – pinks – reds boundaries this time, to show you something different….lol

And if we talked about champagne, lets have a toast!

אז הנה, כמו שהבטחתי, אני מתחילה בסדרת התמונות של הלקים החדשים שהראיתי לכם בפוסט הקודם ! זה ייקח לי כמה פוסטים כדי להראות לכם את כולם, אבל יש לכם סבלנות , נכון ?

טוב, נו....אני יודעת שכנראה רובכן כמוני כאן, גרועות בדחיית סיפוקים, אבל רק הפעם......חחח

הלק הראשון שהייתי חייבת לנסות היה הלק הטורקיז הזה. אם שמתן לב, קניתי שני טורקיזים - אחד על בסיס כסף ואחד על בסיס זהב, זה שכאן הוא זה שעל בסיס כסף, ותוכלו לראות את זה יותר בברור בתמונה האחרונה.

הלק הזה ללא כותרת - אין עליו שם חברה, אין מדבקה, אין מספר, כלום....לפי מה שנראה לי, הוא של חברת Top Nail, שזו החנות ממנה גם קניתי את הלקים האלה, ונכון.....זה מאוד שונה מהרכישות הרגילות שלי, אבל הפעם החלטתי להעיז וללכת על דברים שפחות מוכרים לי, במחשבה שאין לי הרבה מה להפסיד...הדבר היחיד שקצת חבל לי, זה שאין לי פרטים לתת לכן, אז אם מישהי מכן תהיה מעוניינת, אני אנסה להשיג את הפרטים עליו.

שמתי עליו עין כבר בהתחלה ותחושת הבטן לא הטעתה אותי. ללק הזה יש צבע צבע מהמם בטירוף ! מאוד דומיננטי ולא לבעלות הלב החלש...חחחח....וחייבת לציין שבמציאות הוא אפילו קצת יותר כהה ו"עמוק" מאשר בתמונות כאן, למרות שעשיתי אינספור נסיונות. הוא מתייבש בסדר, לא מאוד מהר, אבל עם שכבה של מייבש הוא בסדר גמור והוא מחזיק כבר יומיים על היד שלי בצורה נהדרת - לא התקלף וכמעט שאין "נסיגה".

החיסרון שלו הוא, שהוא נמרח בצורה ממש גרועה. היה לי ממש קשה למרוח אותו, והמרקם המטאלי שלו ממש לא הקל עליי. כמעט והתייאשתי באמצע, כי לרגע זה באמת היה נראה לי כמו ברדק אחד גדול על היד, אבל בסוף היה שווה ! בתמונות רואים שתי שכבות של הלק הזה, שמספיקות בהחלט כדי להגיע למראה אטום, והאמת היא, שגם כבר אחרי השכבה הראשונה המראה הוא די אטום, וזה טוב, לאור העובדה שהיה כ"כ קשה למרוח אותו.

ואם הצבע המהמם שלו לא מספיק, אז היתרון הנוסף שלו הוא, שהוא עובד נהדר עם הקונאד ! לדעתי זה כבר שווה !! אז לא יכולתי להתאפק, וצילמתי לכן כמה נסיונות:

איך השמיים כאן ? יפים הא ? החלטתי להוסיף הפעם גם קצת אוירה מכאן :-)

טוב, מאוד מקווה שהיה לכן כיף הפעם, ועד ללק הבא.....

Hello to you my friends !

Well, like I promised, this one is the first from series of my new polishes photos (those from the last post, remember ? ) so....here it comes :-)

The first polish I had to try was this turquoise - if you've noticed, I bought two turquoises, one based on silver and one based on gold - this is the silver based one.

It has no name, no brand, no number...nothing, but I just had to buy it....I think it belongs to Top Nail, which is the name of the store I bought it from....and you're right, I don't usually buy that kind of polishes, but this time.....well, I felt like I have nothing to lose...lol....but if one of you will be interested, you can contact me and I'll try to help :-)

Soooo.....this one is absolutely gorgeous ! and I have to say it is a bit more darker and "deeper" than the pictures, although I tried to take like a milion picture of it... it dries o.k. and it last already two days on my nails, no chipping and stuff.

The main minus of this polish - it is really hard one to apply, little bit sticky, and it's metal texture doesn't help at all. I almost gave up on him in the middle of the applying....but I didn't.....and it was worth it, isn't it ?

Here are two coats, and it's totally opaque. in fact, it's pretty opaque at the first coat also....

and the bonus is....it works great with Konad !!! I took some pictures of attempts I've done with the Konad, that you can see....
