All the way from Germany - P2 polishes!

Today we're heading to Germany….

A while ago, I received some nail polishes from Germany and I haven't had the chance to show them to you yet. I got 3 P2 nail polishes and 3 Essence polishes and we'll start with the P2 nail polishes.

Let me start by saying that they are all very easy to apply, a bit runny, but still works great.

From L to R:

P2 996 Before Sunrise – Wow, this one captured my eye immediately. It's kind of a reddish bronze with a beautiful duochrome effect. It has a gold shimmer that makes it special and it looks gorgeous in sun light. I took some inside and outdoor pictures so you can see the different, but I have to admit that I couldn't catch its full beauty, so sorry for that.

P2 100 Open your heart – O.K, now this one is for you, my red addict friends J It's a crème red with a pinch of pink and I think it can easily enter to "the most successful red polishes" list. I, personally, am not a big fan of red polishes, but if I'm in the muse, this shade of red is definitely my favorite.

P2 990 Free to be – I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think that green with a silver shimmer would be a good start. The silver shimmer is much more shown in the bottle than it is on the nails, but it's still one of those shades I can't resist.

I love the bottles of these ones and as I wrote, they are very easy to apply and also dry pretty fast.

I'm sorry I don't have full swatches to show you yet, it's because I'm still growing my nails to a decent length for swatching and also because I didn't have enough time this week.

Also, I was in the mood for some experiences with my lace stickers, and here are the results – What do you think? I was really pleased with the results of the green one and I'm not so sure about the others…

China Glaze Awakening collection

I haven't managed to bring myself to write this post all week long, but now that I did – I hope you'll enjoy it.

For this year Halloween, China Glaze came put with this Awakening collection, which includes 3 glittery and surprising colors and also their famous Fast Forward Top Coat.

My amazing blogger friend Kellie from Also Known As... had agreed to buy this stunning collection for me and send it to me and here it is now – Thank you so much Kellie !!!

The formula was a bit tricky here, thick with loads of glitter, so you should know how to build the color – don't apply too thick layers but not too thin, as soon as you get the right amount of polish on your brush, the results are stunning and really fit this holiday J

The drying time is fast and in all the pictures you see 3 coats.

A jelly olive green with yellow sub color – it reminded a bit of olive oil in the first coat, but the green gets darker after 2 coats and the final result is of a golden green with tons of amazing glitter which sparkle the color.

This one has surprised me the most. I thought it's a black base with orange glitter, but when I apllied it, I founf out that it's really a grayish green base with orange-copper glitter, cool ha ?

הצבע שהכי הפתיע אותי בחבורה. תיארתי לעצמי אותו בהתחלה כשחור עם נצנצים כתומים, אבל כששמתי אותו על היד הופתעתי לגלות שבעצם מדובר כאן על בסיס ירוק אפרפר, עם נצנצים בצבע כתום-נחושת, איזה מגניב זה, הא ?

הנצנצים שלו היו הכי סמיכים וצפופים מבין השלושה אז המריחה היתה טיפה פחות קלילה.

The same thing here, I thought this is a black base, but no, this is a dark eggplant purple base with purple-pink glitter – such an amazing combination for a purple lovers like me.

גם כאן הופתעתי לגלות שהבסיס הוא לא שחור, אלא סגול חציל כהה, עם נצנצים סגולים-ורודים, שילוב מדהים בעיניי, חובבת סגולים שכמותי. נתקלתי בו בתופעה מוזרה שבזמן הייבוש הקצוות של הציפורניים הופכות למאט, אבל זה נפתר כששמתי על זה את המייבש

כל השבוע לא הצלחתי להביא את עצמי לכתוב את הפוסט הזה, אבל עכשיו כשהעליתי אותו – מקווה שתהנו J

לקראת חג ליל כל הקדושים הוציאו צ'יינה גלייז קולקצייה חדשה ומגניבה במיוחד שנקראת Awakening הכוללת 3 לקים נוצצים ומפתיעים ואת המייבש המפורסם שלהם שנקרא Fast Forward.

חברתי הבלוגרית המהממת קלי מהבלוג Also Known As שמתגוררת בארה"ב, הסכימה לקנות לי את הקולקצייה ברגע שהיא יצאה שם לחנויות ולשלוח לי והנה היא לפניכן עכשיו במלואה.

הפעם רשמתי לכן את הפירוט על כל הלקים מתחת לכל תמונה, כדי שיהיה לכן קל לזהות.

הפורמולה כאן היתה קצת טריקית, סמיכה ועם המון נצנצים, כך שצריך לדעת לבנות את הצבע – שכבות שלא יהיו עבות מדי ויבלעו את הנצנצים אבל גם לא דקות מדי שיביאו למראה לא אחיד. ברגע שמשתלטים על הכמות הנכונה במברשת, התוצאות מופלאות וגם לדעתי, ממש ממש מתאימות לחג הזה J

זמן הייבוש כאן הוא מהיר ובכל אחת מהתמונות אתן רואות 3 שכבות.

Last week I spent some quality time with my hubby, he was on a vacation from work, which is a pretty rare thing when we're talking about him, and I can share with you that every day began like this:

And before I continue to show you some new things, I want to show you a little cute and optimistic Konadicure I've made and give you my conclusion about the order I made from Eyeko.

I don't know if you remember them all, but I ordered 3 polishes (I'm adding pictures of all the three together to this post) from their website.

The shipping went smooth, the package had arrived pretty quickly and everything was well packed. The price was reasonable also, it was about 15-17$ for the whole package, including the shipping.

The bottles are very cute, take in count that they contain smaller amount than the average. I personally don't mind, because this is still enough for me, I never finish a whole bottle of nail polish.

The formula was a bit different from one another, overall I can't say I was crazy about it, but it was still o.k, reasonable + lets say.

The colors were adorable, I really liked them and especially the Vampira, which was the most unique one out of the bunch.

Overall – I will order from them again, but not colors which are very standards (unless they are part of a collection which is on sale and than it worth it). You'll want to take a look at their website from time to time, they have many great deals - http://www.eyeko.com/

איך התגעגעתי !

מה שלומכן ? איך עוברת עליכן חופשת הקיץ ? נהנות ? מתרוצצות בין חנויות ? משועבדות לילדים ? או שאולי אתן בסייסטה מתמשכת ?

אצלי גם וגם.....קצת התרוצצויות (חוץ מהקטע של הילדים, אין לי עדיין....), קצת סייסטה....בשבוע האחרון ביליתי זמן איכות עם בעלי, שזה מצרך די נדיר במחוזותינו ואני יכולה לשתף אתכן שכל יום התחיל ב:

איזה כיף ! יש לנו יום חופש ביחד !

ואתן כבר מבינות את ההמשך ו..........אתן גם די יודעות מה הוחלט בסוף........

ועכשיו כולי אתכן !!!

אז לפני שאני ממשיכה להראות לכן דברים חדשים, רציתי להראות לכן עוד קונאד קטן ואופטימי שעשיתי ולסכם לכן את הרכישה שלי מ- Eyeko.

לא יודעת אם אתן עדיין זוכרות את כולם, אבל הזמנתי שלושה לקים (מצרפת לכן כאן את התמונות של שלושתם במרוכז) מהאתר שלהם. מבחינת משלוח, הכל הלך חלק, החבילה הגיעה די מהר והכל היה ארוז מקסים. מבחינת מחיר, יצא די משתלם לדעתי, בסביבות ה- 60,70 ש"ח לחבילה, כולל המשלוח.

מבחינת הלקים עצמם – הבקבוקים חמודים מאוד, קחו בחשבון שיש בהם כמות קטנה יותר מהממוצע. לי באופן אישי זה לא מפריע כי זו עדיין כמות מכובדת וגם ככה אני אף פעם לא מצליחה לסיים בקבוק שלם של לק.

הפורמולה היתה קצת שונה מאחד לשני, בסה"כ לא יכולה להגיד שהשתגעתי ממנה, אבל עדיין בסדר, סביר פלוס נגיד.

הצבעים היום מקסימים, ממש אהבתי אותם, אחד אחד, ובמיוחד הומפירה, שהיה הכי מיוחד בעיניי מהחבורה.

בסופו של יום – אני אזמין מהם שוב, אבל לא צבעים שהם ממש שגרתיים (אלא אם כן זה מגיע כחלק מקולקציה שנמכרת בהנחה ואז זה די משתלם). שווה להציץ באתר שלהם מדי פעם, יש להם המון מבצעים שווים – http://www.eyeko.com/

This week was so strange and exhausting for me…..so I guess this is kind of apology for the lack of swatches in the past week J

O.k. so here is the third polish I've ordered from Eyeko:

Vintage – a light turquoise, more like a green pastel. Very pretty and delicate. 2 coats were needed for an opaque look. The formula, like with the blue polish, was a little thick but overall the application was good and in this case too, I really like the result.

אוקיי, אז הנה הלק השלישי שהוזמן מ- Eyeko:

Vintage – טורקיזי בהיר, יותר לכיוון הירוק הפסטלי. עדין מאוד. שתי שכבות נדרשות כאן למראה אטום. הפורמולה, כמו בלק הכחול, היתה קצת סמיכה אבל המריחה עדיין היתה נוחה וגם כאן, התוצאה הסופית היתה ממש לטעמי.

Rainbow of colors from Chocaddict

Today I have something special to show you !

I received Gosh Rainbow in the package from the wonderful Chocaddict and even before I saw it, I knew I'm going to love it.

This is a clear base with lots of massive duochrome flakies in colors of orange-yellow-green and one coat of it over any polish, changes it completely. Absolutely stunning !

It's popular to lay this polish over black for maximum effect, but I've decided to do a little experiment and show it to you over several dark crème polishes, so you can see it in different ways. As I wrote, all you need is one layer of this polish and everything changes. As thick as the layer would be, as bigger the amount of flakies that would cover the base color will be.

And now to the experiment:

As a base, I used 4 different colors and I took you some "before" pictures so you can see them "clean" (also these are some of my favorite crèmes so you can take a recommendation on them all on the way):

היום יש לי משהו מיוחד להראות לכן !

את הלק הזה של Gosh שנקרא Rainbow קיבלתי בחבילה מ- Chocaddict המקסימה ועוד לפני שראיתי אותו, ידעתי שאני הולכת לאהוב אותו.

הלק הזה הוא בעצם לק שקוף עם חתיכות נצנצים ענקיות (המכונות Flakies) דואוכרומיות בצבעים של כתום-צהוב-ירוק ושכבה אחת שלו מעל כל לק, משנה אותו לחלוטין, פשוט מטריף !

מקובל לשים את הלקים מהסוג הזה על לק שחור לקבלת האפקט המירבי, אבל החלטתי לעשות ניסוי הפעם ולהראות לכן אותו על כמה לקים כהים בגוונים שונים, כדי שתוכלו להתרשם. כמו שכתבתי, כל מה שצריך זו שכבה אחת מהלק והכל משתנה. ככל שתשימו שכבה עבה יותר, כך כמות הנצנצים תהיה גדולה יותר וזה יכסה שטח יותר גדול מצבע הבסיס.

ונעבור לניסוי:

בתור בסיס, השתמשתי בארבעה צבעים שונים וצילמתי לכן אותם "נקיים" כדי שתוכלו להתרשם ממראה ה"לפני" (חוץ מזה שאלו חלק מהקרמיים הפייבוריטים שלי אז קבלו המלצה על כולם על הדרך):

אצבע – Enchanted Forest של אורלי

אמה – מס' 32 של שיק.

קמיצה – Sorry Just Can't Help It של מיסה.

זרת – Can't Nobody Take Me Down גם הוא של מיסה.

מעל כולם הוספתי שכבה של Rainbow והתוצאה לפניכן !

התמונות משקפות את המראה שמתקבל אבל קחו בחשבון שכל פעם שאתן מזיזות את היד, רואים צבע אחר, כי זה משתנה בהתאם לתאורה ולזויות ובאופן אישי, אני הכי אהבתי את המראה שלו על השחור ועל הסגול J

הוא בהחלט מצטרף לרשימת הלקים הכי מיוחדים שיש לי.

A beautiful H&M from Ana

Today I have a summery color for you, which reflects my mood today – bright but not too much, optimistic but not pink and most important, full of love !

Why love do you ask ? Because it was sent to me in the package from Ana and I already know her and know that every polish she choose to send me, is chosen by her with lots of love and attention and I love her for that !

This is H&M Bella's Choice – a bright turquoise crème and I think it has the perfect combination between blue and green. It's bold, but also delicate, it's pretty bright, but not pale.

Its application was super easy, two smooth coats gave a perfect opaque look. The drying time was o.k. and the result – beautiful !

Beside, we haven't seen Konad here in a while, right ? So I stamped this treasure with a white polish using Konad m65 plate and this is the result. This combination between this polish and konad is perfect and gives a special look of delicate daring.

היום יש לי צבע קיצי בשבילכן שממש משקף את מצב הרוח שלי היום – בהיר אבל לא מדי, אופטימי אבל לא ורוד והכי חשוב, מלא באהבה !

למה אהבה אתן שואלות ? כי הוא נשלח אליי בחבילה שקיבלתי מאנה ואני כבר מכירה אותה ויודעת שכל פריט שהיא בוחרת לשלוח לי, נבחר על ידיה עם המון תשומת לב ואהבה ואני כל כך אוהבת אותה על כך !

הלק הזה הוא של H&m והוא נקרא Bella's Choice – מדובר על לק במרקם קרמי בצבע טורקיזי בהיר, ויש בו את השילוב המושלם בעיניי בין הכחול לירוק. הוא נועז, אבל גם עדין. הוא בהיר יחסית, אבל לא חיוור.

המריחה שלו היתה סופר קלה, שתי שכבות שנמרחו בקלות והביאו למראה אטום ומושלם. זמן הייבוש היה סביר והתוצאה – יפהפיה !

חוץ מזה, כבר הרבה זמן שלא היה לנו קונאד כאן, נכון ? אז החתמתי את האוצר הזה עם קונאד לבן ועם פלטה m65 של קונאד התוצאה לפניכן. השילוב בין הלק הזה לקונאד הלבן מושלם ונותן מראה מיוחד בסגנון של תעוזה עדינה.

A very sparkling haul !!!

Great seller, he has lots of the brands I like and in reasonable prices and the package arrived quick and without any problems.

The truth is that at first I planned to order just the Seche Restore and than I remembered that I need a new file….and I just couldn't resist some polishes…..hahaha

I ordered two that I especially wanted – OPI Catch Me In Your Net and Nubar Petunia Sparkle – They are adorable ! And it turned out that they are even more stunning when you see them in your hands ! They both got into my top polishes list without even blink !

If you like the colors, you've got to have them, they are so much prettier in reality !

Since this post turned out to be too long and I didn't want it to be too heavy, I'm showing you today the first polish and tomorrow I'll show you the second one.

OPI Catch Me In Your Net – This one is from the Summer Flutter collection for summer 2010. It's hard to exactly define it but we've already agreed that these hard-to-define polishes are the most special ones, right ?

So this is a blue-turquoise with golden-green glitter. When I first saw it in the bottle it seemed to me like duochrome but I'm not sure that this would be exact to say.

I'll make it easy and say that this one looks on the nails like a very glittery turquoise, but one you can't ignore J

Two coats were enough for me here, the third coat is an option but not a must. The application went smooth and the drying time was pretty quick.

I have to say that this was impossible to capture the exact color and I feel like the pictures are not doing justice to this one - it is way more deep and turquoise than it looks, so keep that in your mind.

OPI - Catch Me In Your Net

אחלה מוכר, יש לו הרבה מהחברות שאני אוהבת ובמחירים סבירים והחבילה הגיעה מהר וללא בעיות.

האמת שבהתחלה תכננתי להזמין רק את טיפות הדילול של Seche למייבש שיש לי שלהם. ואז נזכרתי שאני צריכה גם פצירה....ואז פשוט לא יכולתי להתאפק מלהזמין גם לקים.....חחחחח

הזמנתי שניים (תודו שהפגנתי יכולת איפוק יפה הפעם) שקרצו לי במיוחד – Catch Me In Your Net של OPI ו- Petunia Sparkle של Nubar – תקשיבו, אין דברים כאלו ! הם התברו כאפילו מדהימים יותר במציאות ושניהם נכנסו בלי למצמץ אפילו לרשימת הטופ לקים שלי !

אם אתן אוהבות את הצבע, אתן פשוט חייבות להזמין אותם, כי הם הרבה יותר יפים באחד על אחד !

מכיוון שזה יצא קצת ארוך ולא רציתי שהפוסט יהיה כבד מדי, אני אראה לכן את הראשון ומחר אני אראה לכן את הלק השני.

Catch Me In Your Net – הלק הזה יצא במסגרת קולקציית Summer Flutter לקיץ 2010. קשה לתת הגדרה מדוייקת לצבע הזה אבל כבר הסכמנו שצבעים שקשים להגדרה הם הכי מיוחדים, נכון ?

אז זה מעין כחול-טורקיז עם נצנצים זהובים-ירוקים. הוא היה נראה לי גם כמו דואוכרום בבקבוק, אבל על היד טיפה פחות, אז אני לא סגורה על זה שהוא נכנס גם להגדרה הזאת.....

כהגרלי, אני אפשט את ההגדרה לטובת אלו מכן שהדקויות פחות מעניינות אותן ואגיד לכן שהוא נראה על היד כמו טורקיז עם נצנצים....אבל באמת אחד כזה שאי אפשר להתעלם ממנו J

שתי שכבות הספיקו לי כאן. השכבה השלישית אוטמת עוד קצת אבל לא הייתי אומרת שהיא מאסט. המריחה קלי קלות וזמן הייבוש די מהיר.

את הצבע הזה פשוט בלתי אפשרי לתפוס במדוייק והתמונות פשוט עושות לו עוול – הוא הרבה יותר עמוק וטורקיזי במציאות אז קחו את זה בחשבון.

Mix and Match #2

היום אני אראה לכן שיטה מעולה למיקס אנד מאץ' שתמיד עובד !

הרעיון – לצבוע חלק מהאצבעות בלק במרקם קרמי או שימרי וחלק מהאצבעות בלק נצנצים מאותו צבע.

אני אוהבת לשים את הלק נצנצים רק על הקמיצה, אבל בהחלט אפשר לעשות את זה עם אצבע כן אצבע לא. רצוי שהנצנצים יהיו בגוון קצת יותר בהיר או מעט שונה מהלק השני ורצוי גם שהם יהיו גדולים ולא עדינים, כדי ליצור את האפקט המירבי. חשוב גם שהנצנצים יתנו מרקם אטום ולא חצי שקוף, כך שבמידה ואין לכן לק כזה, תמרחו שכבה אחת מהלק גם על האצבע עם הנצנצים ועליה תמרחו את לק הנצנצים כדי לקבל מראה אטום.

למי שאין נצנצים צבעוניים, השיטה הזאת בדר"כ עובדת טוב גם עם אצבע אחת בנצנצים כסופים או זהובים (אני יודעת שיותר קל להשיג כאלה בארץ), תלוי בצבע שאתן שמות – למשל הלק הירוק הזה, היה יכול ללכת מצויין עם לק נצנצים זהוב.

המיקס הזה הוא לא מהנועזים שיש והוא תמיד יוצר מראה עם נוכחות ועניין, לא משנה באיזה צבע אני בוחרת לעשות אותו. אני יכולה לספר לכן שתמיד השילוב הזה קוצר אצלי המון מחמאות ותמיד מאוד כיף להסתובב איתו.

הפעם בחרתי להראות לכן שילוב שאני מאוד אוהבת – ללק הירוק השתמשתי ב- Enchanted Forest של אורלי – אחד מהירוקים האהובים עליי ביותר, במרקם קרמי, אטום אחרי שתי שכבות, למרות שבתמונה אתן רואות 3 שכבות ששמתי, כדי שיהיה קצת יותר כהה.

ללק הנצנצים השתמשתי ב – Green Confetti של Claire's שהוא לא אטום לגמרי, אז שמתי אותו מעל שכבה אחת של האורלי. כאן הייתי צריכה 2 או 3 שכבות כדי לקבל את האפקט המקסימלי של הנצנצים.

והתוצאה מדהימה בעיניי !

צירפתי לכן עוד מיקס אנד מאץ' שעשיתי בזמנו לתחרות – אמנם הוא יותר מושקע ועם דוגמת מחוך, אבל תורידו את הדוגמה ותקבלו מיקס מנצח בגווני סגול – במניקור הזה השתמשתי ב – Stella של צ'יינה גלייז ללק הסגול (אחד המהממים לדעתי) וב- Carnival Lights של צ'יינה גלייז לנצנצים.

China Glaze - Festival Lights

Today I'll show you a great way for mix and match that always works !

The idea – to paint some of the nails with a crème or shimmery nail polish and some of the nails with a glitter polish in the same color. I love to apply the glitter polish just on the ring finger, but you can definitely do it with two fingers with glitter.

The glitter polish should be in a lighter shade or a bit different shade from the other color and you might want the glitter polish to be a chunky one and not delicate, to create the maximal effect. It's also important that the glitter polish would be opaque and not sheer, so if you don't have a glitter polish like that, you can apply one coat of the other polish and than apply the glitter polish on it to get an opaque look.

If you don't have a colorful glitter, this way also usually works good with silver or gold glitter, depend on the other color you apply – for example, this green polish will go great with gold glitter.

This is not one of the daring mixes and it always creates a look with presence and interest, doesn't matter what color I choose to do it. I can tell you that I always get compliments when I wear this mix and it's always really fun to wear it.

This time I chose to show you a mix that I really like – for the green polish I used Orly Enchanted Forest – one of my favorite greens, in a crème texture, opaque after 2 coats, although I used 3 coats this time to make it look a bit darker.

For the glitter polish I used Claire's Green Confetti which is not totally opaque, so I applied it over one coat of the green Orly. I needed 2 or 3 coats here to get the maximal effect of the glitter.

And I think the result is stunning !

I also added another mix and match I did at the time for the contest – although it's more fancy but take down the nail art and you get a winning mix in purples shades – for this mani I used China Glaze Stella for the purple polish (a total stunner for my opinion) and China Glaze Carnival Lights for the glitter polish.
